I agree with all of that.... and yes, Lionel played in midfield, or even up front, wouldn't do so much damage. He'd also be more likely to score than the likes of Rooney or Barrowman. I love the guy.

Find myself continually surprised these days at the line now taken by CD, who I can well remember was one of this club's most vociferous critics not so long ago.

I doubt if the club could afford to sack him and pay him and MM for the remainder of their 18 month contract. Like it or not we have no option other than to remain behind the management team and hope that they can get over this setback and turn things around. Rossco returning from suspension will surely help us string a few decent results together. That is provided TB's given up the idea of turning him into a C.B

I suggested when Brewster was sacked that Robbo should have been appointed on a "caretaker" basis until the end of last season, when a sensible selection proccess could have taken place. I believe he (Robbo) would have kept us in the SPL... and would by now have been offered a decent contract by the club. The last few games of last season - especially Falkirk - convinced me that Butcher was a big mistake, and wasn't TM4TJ.

CD, whether you like it or not, there is now a sizeable element of the support who only go along to TCS concerned with what music you will select, and what words of wisdom you will come out with to urge the team on! It is rapidly becoming a more interesting topic of conversation than Butcher's team selections.
