For the avoidance of confusion, the AEK that were defeated by Juanjo's strike are AEK Larnaca, a Cypriot Second Division side, not the more famous AEK of Athens. Juanjo's team, ASIL Lysi, are a very small club as suggested by the tiny crowd at the game.

There was some confusion about this, but it seems that County would need United to finish 2nd in order to qualify for Europe as runners-up.

My feelings exactly. At the start of every season i dream of the Scottish Cup Final and European football above all else. I'm extremely jealous of what County have acheived but all the best to them. Hopefully we'll do it one day.

County have done very well so far. I wasn't sure how i would feel watching this game but i'm in no doubt now - come on County!

While one win can hardly be called a return to form, I'm still concerned about that result. Given the run they were on prior to it, such a comfortable win suggests they've sorted a few things out. Dundee went on a great run before Christmas and they're definitely capable of doing so again. We have to keep winning.

I believe Grant will have his testimonial next season. Russel Duncan joined at the start of 01/02 so he should have his the following season. Hopefully neither of them will be struck by the curse that has affected Wilson, Hastings and McBain in their testimonial seasons.

Great result. Fists to the air from Terry again at full-time. Highly amusing that while the world watches Barcelona and Arsenal in the Champions League, we were straining for any sign of emotion from a semi-transparent, pea-sized Ryan Esson. Wouldn't have it any other way. Onwards...............

It is a very funny way to watch football. From our point of view, as long as we can't see the ball then things are going well. Did anyone see Messi's 3rd goal? The boy thinks he's Ian Stewart. Unbelieveable. How would anyone have the confidence to dot that? If he is not already the best player to walk this planet, he will soon become it! Not likely, i hear he's driving a taxi in Aberdeen these days.
