Gosh - you are all so "on the ball". Dates and games, please?
-
As Edward Ofere only arrived at ICT a couple of days ago, has had no time to get to know the players, know the system of play, or even get fit for the SPFL, is he the first ever ICT player to score on his debut ?
-
As a postscript - anyone (please) (just hope Andycam has it) got footage of an ICT corner near the end. Ciftci, standing beside his own goalkeeper, as the ball comes in - Ciftci throws his OWN goalkeeper to the ground! obviously in the hope that the referee will think that an ICT player has fouled the goalkeeper. Now - who has planned that? Ciftci? the goalkeeper? the manager? who? It seemed planned so someone must have thought of it. Really dirty work at the cross roads .... typical of a cheating team and, time action was taken. Those of us who saw it were appalled.

Disappointing news indeed. Hope whatever is the problem is sorted soon.

Having been at the game, got home late (approx. 2am) and had to be up early (6am) for work, I was thoroughly cheesed off reading the comments of those on this forum who seemed to believe the rubbish spouted by the commentators at the game - utter tosh for the most part. Surely, by now, those who listen to radio commentary, must know the bias against ICT. We, at the game, were very vocal regarding a referee (usually reasonably good) who (as Yogi saw) seemed to believe every United player who play-acted, moaned, waved their arms, complained, whatever. Ciftci, for example, should have an Oscar for his play acting - he was involved in virtually every incident - he is a cheat, (remember the day he nearly throttled Graeme Shinnie but got off with it later), and will always be a cheat. Leopards don't change their spots and unfortunately Gary Warren is now red-carded for this United players actions. Surely it is time that the "high heid yins" in the SPFL were brave (as if) and made a stand (huh, again as if) to stamp out these actors/histrionics. They are a disgrace and have no place in football. Sorry for this rant - overtired due to lack of sleep, but......ever an avid ICT supporter, despite Ciftci and Dundee United. Onwards to Mudderwell on Saturday and then stopping any dancing in the streets of Raith!! the following Saturday.

For memories sake, I have just watched a DVD of the game this afternoon. Wonderful memories. Was shouting at TV as if it was happening all over again, and, cursing at Hamill - he really did get his come-uppance..

I've always taken my boys, now teenagers. I stood on the Howden End from age 11 but always knew what was right from wrong. I'm sorry but are folk so nieve to think there will be no bad language at a football match? Would have fathered they complained at time tho rather than leave. Maybe a bit of acceptance re the swearing on one hand and a bit of toning it down on the other? I was in the Howden End even before you! and my Dad said - just don't listen to the sweary words and NEVER repeat them. I was unable to attend yesterday - unwell - but I can put up with most swearing but the c word is unacceptable in every company - young or old, no matter where. That's the crux of the matter in my humble opinion.

You been on the electric soup again IHE? See you tomorrow!.
-
I'll be there, on supporters bus, with all the regulars, and - same team as Tuesday please, and same result too, please. Hope, hope, fingers crossed etc.
-
Why you picking on Marley??? What's you done to you?? Baa Humbug!!! PS - Great idea, hope lots of folk take up the offers. Initiative to the fore at Christmas time for ICT. Well done.
-
Chick ... a commentator? He took ages to decide who scored, then had to be corrected, then corrected again. Total plonker, or as that MP said, maybe a pleb - which is more suitable?
-
Silly me! Senior moment - or just too eager to see ICT. Thanks for info - watch the whole clip now.

Why are St Mirren v ICT highlights listed on BBC Sports News, under ICT, but are actually of Falkirk v Hamilton or some other team I don't want to see. I bet the BBC do not get Celtic or Man Utd highlights mixed up with "lower" teams on the website. Poor show BBC, very poor show.

The BBC are even more clueless this week!!!! I missed the highlights on Saturday night tv, due to a Ladies Night Out. However, as per my usual, I went onto BBC News Sport to see our highlights there...... it is listed as St Mirren v ICT but the highlights are actually Falkirk v Hamilton!!!! on the ICT section. How can they do that???? Can anyone in the powers that be contact the BBC and get this sorted....please please.

With a 6pm kick off - and Scotland v England on tv that night. Whose bright idea was that???? Poor decision definitely. Seems to wholly disregard the small but loyal band who regularly follow the under 20s Totally agree. I, and quite a few others, attend the Development League fixtures, and previously the Reserves/Under 20s, but this past month the fixtures seem hell-bent on having these young players having no-one in support. Poor show ICT, to both the fans and the players too.

Yes. Often done in the North Stand, especially if friends, or family, are at a game for only "once in a while". The Section where I have a season ticket is very good at accommodating requests such as "can you move along a seat please" to fit in an extra fan. That's the way to encourage people to return to games - make them welcome..... After all, we all want to sit with our friends, or family, and if its ok with the others, then fine. No hassle, new friend.
-
Strange indeed. I, along with other fans, enjoy the Development League games, and before that the under 20s, and before that the Reserve League games, on Tuesdays. To have these games in Dingwall means we will not be able to enjoy our extra fix of footie. Hope its a "one of" and the next games will be back at the Stadium.

Not the stewards we encountered - wouldn't allow one drum in. Said it was policy since January!? same as e-cigarettes, not allowed.Drums make atmosphere - but e-cigarettes in same sentence? Since when? Numpties. Bet they don't have the same response to Celtic etc.
-
And we are not even allowed one drum into St Mirren! So much for atmosphere in the SPFL!!! Oh dear.

I was in Dows this evening and bought tickets for the bus to the game on Saturday. Pay in advance at the bar. £3.50p per person. Bus will leave from Dows one hour before kick-off for each home game, returning to Dows after the final whistle. This season the bus will go direct to the Stadium, not calling at the Heathmount as in previous seasons. I hope this is helpful Dunco and 12th Man.

I was ill yesterday and unable to go to Motherwell (it has to be bad for me to miss any ICT game) and really enjoyed the commentary on MFR2. Both Auldy and Mo did a great job. Made me feel much better! even though sad to have missed a great game, and great win.
-
Will pop into Dows before next home game and post on here. Its usual to book number of seats required on bus, and pay, at Dows before the day.

For the last few seasons a bus has run from Dows, picking up at the Heathmount.
