  1. Was wonderful to be sitting in front of Mr Adams and Mr Cooper and behind Ross County stalwarts! Gosh - they are easy to wind up! Great night all round - let's hope its the same result on 25th October - as I loudly said to all within earshot towards the end of a very one-sided game. Happy night - lets hope for another happy night on 25th.
  2. Whats the saying - you can please some of the people some of the time etc etc....
  3. Meet up at the Park Hotel then, as the supporters bus will be in Kilmarnock in good time. See you there.
  4. Billy came on as a sub on the hour mark tonight for Northern Ireland. Well done, Billy. Great news.

Why didn't you check the official club website - all the under 20s games are listed there and, if any doubt, phone the Club direct for kick off times. Simples.

    Celtic v ICT

Sorry Davie, but after just one away game, now you know just what I had to deal with for the past few years and Kath and others before us! See you on the Celtic bus - really looking forward to being a customer and not getting bruises going up and down the aisle of the bus for umpteen reasons. Regards and I do hope you don't have too many bruises from your accident the other night.

It was Carl Tremarco and Jason Brown who got red cards.

6pm kick off not ideal for lots of reasons, especially the traffic around that time is still choc-a-block at the traffic lights/roundabout.
  9. I know the plural of stadium is not "stadiums" but I couldn't be bothered to change it. Before the "correct" brigade sort me out.
  10. This old chestnut re the stadium only having three sides - It is certainly the case that in umpteen stadiums only 3 areas are being opened, due to cost, lack of numbers, stewarding, etc. For the past umpteen years I have followed ICT to most away games and there are many clubs where whole areas of the stadiums are left empty (from bad memory - Killie, Motherwell, St Mirren, St Johnstone, for a start). Inverness is not the only stadium to only use 3 sides - maybe the original poster complaining about our 3 sides doesn't visit many away games - he would maybe change the record. The same applies to those who complain about parking - what about the clubs who provide no parking at all for away fans - our club should be justly proud of providing parking for both home and away fans, no matter the grumbling about getting away after the final whistle (but that's another story/gripe). Get a grip, all of you, you don't know when you are lucky and, if you don't like getting wet/burned with the sun/wind in your face/whatever, then change your seat to the North Stand - simples.
  11. Mikey's funeral today was an extremely good expression of how his family, his many friends and also his ICT friends, really held him in high regard. The Humanist service was a true reflection of Mikey's life and Toni (from La Taverna in Aviemore) spoke so well and moved most of us to tears (but there was laughter too, anecdotes aplenty). Great to see so many ICT colours on show and also a white and blue football shaped wreath on his coffin. I am sure there would have been more stories told about Mikey in the Caley Club afterwards. An amazing day and a fitting farewell to Mikey.
  12. And I love you too, Johndo xx
  13. 1. Where were you born? Dingwall (Don't blame me, it was the nearest hospital for my Mum at the time!) (My Dad always said I was born at the back of the Jail End - ie that's where the hospital was). 2. Where did you spend your childhood? Moy (who knows where that is? and there was nothing there when I was brought up there and nothing much there now, except the annual Moy Games Fair). 3. When did you start following football in Inverness? When I was taken to the footie by my brother, likely in the 1950s sometime (cannot remember year - was too young then and too old now). 4. What is your current location? Inverness.
  14. Very many thanks for these kind words! I will still travel on as many of the away buses as I can, but will enjoy being a customer rather than being busy most of the miles. As long as all the passengers are well looked after, especially Shaun and Harry, then I will be happy.
  15. I recall Mikey Diamond being refused entry into St Johnstone two seasons ago, because the Steward said his flag wasn't marked fire retardant. Mikey went round to the ticket office, complained (I don't think they understood a word he said) and the outcome was that he was allowed in, with his flag. Hurray for Mikey - wouldn't let any steward stop him and his flag.
  16. Our Ryan Esson is not fully fit, so will likely not be in the starting line-up.

Going by the under 20s who have showed up so well already in pre-season, I am looking forward to Tuesday afternoons already!
  18. Many thanks for the updates. Just couldn't go to Wick as working at 7am tomorrow. Thanks again.

    Score in Brora

Tremarco only came on late in the 2nd half so not enough time on the park for me to pass judgement. Dave the Rave and Aaron Doran went off at half time. Of the "newbies" Danny Williams impressed, as did James Vincent.

    Score in Brora

ICT - Ryan Esson, David Raven, Graeme Shinnie, Ross Draper, Gary Warren, Josh Meekings, Billy Mackay, Ben Greenhalgh, Richie Foran, Aaron Doran, Nick Ross. Subs: James Vincent, Danny Devine, Danny Williams, Liam Polworth, Matthew Cooper, Carl Tremarco, Adam Evans, Cammy Mackay (GK). Brora - Ally Ridgers, James Ross, Ally Macdonald, Ross Tokely, Dale Gillespie, Gavin Morrison, Andrew Greig, David Hind, Zander Sutherland, Steven MacKay, Ryan Watson. Subs: John Campbell, Liam Baxter, Jack MacKay, John Allan. Note - no prizes for spotting all the ex ICT players in the Brora team. Zander's goal a lovely lob over Ryan Esson and his celebrations afterwards quite a picture!
  21. What a really great reminder of a wonderful season - thank you CaleyD for the playlist - well done also to all at ICT, CJT and all concerned with ICT. Worth watching over and over again and reliving the goals, especially the away games and the "unexpected" wins - for those of us who pay our money, week in week out, and travel to some fixtures more with hope than expectation, we have been so chuffed to be CaleyJagsAway and share in some memorable games (eg being down 3 goals in less than 10 minutes v Dundee United - our fans and the team wouldn't give up - maybe a draw, maybe a win) (only the ref saw whatever for DU penalty). But, what a game - and what a fighting spirit from ICT - that's why we are fans. More of the same in 13/14 and we will be well pleased.
  22. IHE - You have reminded me! of the joys of going to the Strath after being in the Howden End! Times may have changed but the memories linger!!!
  23. By these videos, I am looking forward to the pre-season friendlies! This young man looks good! - has our Super Scout Steve found another wonder kid for ICT?
  24. It is quite obvious in various sections of the Forum that many posters on here do not visit the away grounds. Several SPL clubs have only 3 stands open, several clubs (Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Killie to name just 4 that I can think of just now) have no parking facilities for away fans, and the number of fans at St Johnstone are a disgrace to Perth which has a much higher population than Inverness. St Mirren also have a very poor following. ICT have plenty parking for all fans - the ground is easy to get to, both by car and on foot from bus/train station. What else does Dougal want? Why does this Forum only have "like this" and no "boo" tick box.
  25. Supporters bus leaves from the Social Club at 7.45am and from the Stadium at 8am.
