  1. At a home game v Celtic, there were supporters in the North Stand a few rows in front of me buying soft drinks quite a few times during the first half - it then became apparent that they were not ICT supporters (no cheering for ICT and, by the v signs given to the Main Stand towards half time)and then it became obvious they were topping up their soft drinks with alcohol secreted within their clothing. Although several persons around me commented, only I went forward to speak to the nearest Steward. He wanted me to point out the persons! but I told him I didn't have a yellow jacket, nor was paid to do his job, but for him to use his eyes and spot them - although I did say whereabouts he should be looking. From that moment, if looks could kill I would have been dead, the stewards gave me such bad looks, until, eventually, the "fans" lifted their half bottles to their soft drinks and were spotted and evicted. It is very difficult for fans, especially ladies, to go to stewards and complain, as they are then noted and could be victims of abuse.
  2. You missed a great game!
  3. Keep an eye on the dugout, especially at substitutions. Scott Kellacher seems to have a lot of input, from notes, chat, etc. This has occurred since Yogi became Manager, and was very obvious at the semi final especially, and has not diminished at every game since. Questions, everyone??? Who has the knowledge, the expertise, whatever, of ICT and the current players ?
  4. I am just enjoying my third viewing of the DVD and, is it me, or has anyone else commented on the fact that congratulatory music was played when Jamie Hamill scored his two goals but no music was played when ICT scored their two goals?! "Edinburgh bias" or what, or who is to blame? I didn't notice during the game, due to all the singing and dancing etc but on watching the DVD it is quite obvious, especially after such a korker of a goal from Greg Tansey. I do hope this is sorted before the Final - when ICT score we want to hear MUSIC as well as singing and shouting and whatever.
  5. At the 90 minutes, when the board went up for 5 minutes extra time, I left my seat to go to the disabled section at the front, behind the goals, to assist our fans there to exit the stadium at full time. I was there, chatting to them and watching the game when Nick scored!!!! Couldn't have been closer to the action if I tried!!! Maybe my best decision all day up till then. I stayed there for the rest of the game, amongst the melee, and have never been hugged and danced so much in umpteen years of following Caley and ICT. Wonderful, unforgettable. ICT all stars. Incidentally I never leave before full time, ever. In the North Stand I usually leave my seat when the board for extra time goes up, go to the wall behind the goals till full time and then applaud the players off the field no matter the score. Too many folk who leave when the going may be tough miss last minute goals - Craig Dargo did that quite a few times for example.
  6. I am away to Google what these words mean!! Google ok! I quite like the idea of "effleurage" but not the rest thank you.
  7. I am away to Google what these words mean!!
  8. Please, IHE, I could do with the Stress Management AND a massage! Please, please!!
  9. As long as its as entertaining as the game Killie v ICT when we scored SIX - bring it on! Most enjoyable day out. Love Killie day out, especially their empire biscuits with the ICT emblem thereon.

Towards the end of the second half, with ICT in command, Ryan Christie "ghosted" past a defender in such a manner that the comment was made "that was just like John White in days of old". It really was great to see - we await much more from young Mr Christie, a future star no doubt. Conor Pepper fought for every ball, like a terrier, a great player and worthy of a new contract - please note Mr Hughes, Mr Latapy and Mr Cameron.
  11. Why don't you go away, Theeagle, your time has come and gone. Booooooooo

As, in another post, why is there not a "boooo" option for some posters. They dearly need to be booed off the Forum at times. What negativity. How twitter and bisted can a so-called fan be (and I mean twitter and bisted!)(work it out!). Even Victor Meldrew was funny at times - not Theeagle.
  13. Especially the way the teams playing Why is there no longer a "boooo" option on this forum?
  14. Supporters bus due to leave at 7.45am!
  15. Still no details in the Away Day Travel information site.
  16. What travel arrangements? Any fan can arrange to get to a game, if they really want to. Supporters Club buses do run for Ross County, so I believe. Poor excuse.
  17. Me too. Wouldn't miss it, although I am not "flavour of the month" with nearest and dearest (ie niece and her family) for missing her Boxing Day lunch. Tough for them! ICT awaydays more important than a vegetarian lunch.
  18. Went on their site, with nothing better to do, for a laugh and, they did make me laugh. If you have time, and patience, ICT v St Johnstone, posts 302 to 319 really made me laugh out loud. What jokers! Just glad Mikey's flag is now back where it belongs - Mikey would be pleased, though I am not sure just what he would have made of all the fuss on the St Johnstone website - 19 pages!
  19. If I remember right, there used to be songs about him wearing his wife's red/pink knickers, but I may be wrong!
  20. free buses for supporters who still want to attend with the cash required to pay for them taken from the gate receipts, before it is divvy'd up between the teams. That would be far more fair, just add it in as a cost same as stewarding etc. Why should the the club itself be forced to be out of pocket due to the ineptitude of the cup organisers by laying on buses? Bear in mind a 50 seater coach would probably cost around £450. Since when did a 50 seater coach cost £450? Nearer £600 for the last two years at least - check with your CJT Treasurer! More cash required all round.
  21. I am disappointed now in both Maurice Malpas and TB - both of them were no-where when they came to ICT and now appear to be "too big for their boots". Oh dear, they were "celebrated" in the Inverness area but now, unfortunately, have shown true colours in money terms. I, as a long term ICT fan, am very disillusioned by them - both Pele and Robbo had so much more guts and reasons for moving on. Sad days indeed to have our recent "icons" proved to have feet of clay (imbedded in cash, likely).
  22. What a wonderful word! Do I have permission to repeat it, often, please?
  23. I agree with Izzy - you go for it Davie...... please......
  24. David Sutherland said, on tv tonight, exactly what we have all been thinking. It was not appropriate for the then current ICT Manager to be taking his wages from ICT whilst sitting in the Hibs Main Stand at the game Hibs v ICT, saying he was "neutral". ICT will continue to flourish without TB and MM and, although I thank them for their input over the past years, will support each and every Manager/Coach in the future, come what may. Onwards and upwards as others have said - despite the Cup Semi Final being played at Easter Road at 12.15 on a Sunday - who said there was not a Central Belt bias? Oh dear, another early start down the A.9, maybe in snow and ice.
