Delighted!?? that Ross County have categorised the game on 2nd January as Category A - ie similar to Celtic!! Is that fame for ICT or just a way of getting ICT fans to pay more to get into Victoria Park (cant remember the new name) than all the other teams in the SPL. Cannot make up my mind if this is a back-handed compliment, or not. Views ?
  3. I was not in Section E (I am still in Section G) but I had my bag searched quite thoroughly, both on Saturday and Tuesday evening "just in case I had a smoke bomb" or whatever! As an oap who has been to virtually every game since ICT came into existence, I try to be helpful to the Stewards and show them that my bag holds only my binos (to see the boys more clearly at the other end of the pitch) my fleece blanket and other items to keep me and my fellow fans a bit warm on a cold footie day. No bottles no nothing untoward, ever. A goodie - me. I wouldnt know what a smoke bomb looked like. However, it was sad to see Section E being filmed - what about the young persons there - were their parents aware their children were being filmed - isnt there some rule where permission must be granted before filming can take place of persons under a certain age? I agree smoke bombs should have no place within ICT or any football stadium but ... for example I saw no Police officers trying to film the fans from where the coin was flung and injured one of our fans at Ibrox at the cup game just a few weeks ago. Who decided that the young people in our Section E were responsible for what happened at Dingwall? What evidence? From whom?
  4. Why is there not a "booo" button for Laurence and Dougal - mods, please arrange, before they do my head it goodstyle.

    what the.....

Yes, I'll be there (hopefully) if I am still able!! being of oap status now! In 2021 I will be ?? but as long as I can still breathe in Highland air, I'll be there. ICT forever!!
  6. Usual crowd going in the ICT Travel Club bus
  7. At Parkhead, 64 minutes into the game yesterday - ICT Fans went ballistic - again. Ya dancer Billy McKay.
  8. Just seen the bbc 4 minutes plus, very one-sided towards Septic and not the game that I saw yesterday. Thats editing for you. Booo but I'm still smiling and will still be smiling for yonks (old Invernessian word).
  9. A great day out and a memorable result. Well done, ICT. Strange not to see the "turn your backs on the game" scenarios being played out by the Celtic fans - aw shame - Septic weren't winning. It was great to be there, surrounded by so many players families and friends who had travelled so far (including Spain) to witness another ICT historic event. Still smiling. It really was "Paradise" for us, but maybe not the green and white brigade who have that name for Parkhead.
  10. The only time I made a comment, very mild compared to this, (and I thought at the time it was constructive criticism) regarding our Team Captain, months later I was approached by him and put in my place very sternly and forcibly. Be wary, lyndwinkle, as Mr Foran will find you and then you will be suitably chastised. Ooh dear - be warned.
  11. Great interviews. Many thanks to all concerned.
  12. Hurray - I was next in the queue to Luke and Don! so that means I am in the singing section!!! Bring it on (despite being an "oldie").
  13. Yawn yawn yawn.... when will this all end...

    Under 20s

Ryan Christie came on as a sub, as did the Georgian lad - so he is obviously still here.

    Under 20s

Just a note to say, ICT under 20s team v Hamilton at the Stadium today, 2pm kick off.
  17. I can recall a bakers in Greig Street, on the way to the High School, where we would buy "yesterdays stale-ics". The joy if it was a cream cookie! - this must have been the fore-runner to the reduced counter in Tesco nowadays. I also remember buying broken biscuits from the boxes in Woolworths, similar to pick and mix today, but never to eat in the "one and nines" in the Playhouse when we juped school on a Wednesday afternoon (split classes so we were never missed - ever!?) How we got off with not being there every Wednesday afternoon in 4th year I will never know, but - and if there wasnt a decent film on, then we went for a walk, anything but going to class. And I still got decent employment so it wasnt wasted afternoons after all.
  18. Many a good night in the Ballerina in Nairn but, IHE, it was the Two Red Shoes in Elgin (big fat guy in charge - cant remember his name) - those were the days when we also went in umpteen double deck buses to the Strath!! Oh, the days of live bands every Friday and Saturday, with a choice of where to go.
  19. After David Raven's start to the season, which was not spectacular to say the least, I am happy to eat my words and say he was my Man of the Match today. What an improvement, game by game. Well done, David. Credit where credit is due.
  20. I didnt even know the Celtic tickets were on sale - or else I would have been down to get my ticket. Will be happy to join in your conga, Mark - as long as you allow "golden oldies" to join in! See you tomorrow.
  21. If you attend any away games, you will know that all the away section sing - quite different to home games and much more enjoyable.
  22. Another post which has made me laugh out loud! Many thanks, Davie.
  23. IHE - Well done, you never fail to lift my spirits and make me laugh! Oh dear, I didnt mean it like that. Here come the responses! Sorry - senior moment again.
  24. Does that mean some tickets have been sold already? If so, how, when and where please?
  25. Antonio's parents were on the Supporters bus to Kilmarnock and back and, despite speaking no English, had a good day out and especially seemed to like the song about Reguero and Spain. They are away home later today, Sunday. Haste ye back, Mrs and Mrs R.
