  1. Great news indeed and puts Inverness Caley Thistle again in the Spotlight, for all the right reasons. Well done Yogi. Many many congratulations.
  2. Meet up in the Muirton Suite at St Johnstone - stovies are excellent and its a great way to meet up with other fans.
  3. Wasn't impressed with Denayer in the Semi. Our Ryan much much better.
  4. In all this kerfuffle, has no-one thought there may be more than a little money involved backstage, allegedly ? I may be banned from the Forum for this but, I am a cynic and ...... who decides who is on the deciding committee tomorrow? how many "friends/acquaintances" do they have in the Celtic boardroom, how many "freebies" do they get over a season, do they "declare" all these instances? This is all "allegedly" but..... I really do feel it is like an "old boys club" or similar - if you don't fit in, then tough and you are out. The Committee tomorrow better have a lot of balls, or else they will be missing some, soon.
  5. NO NO NO - never again give ANY money to them, never never never.
  6. Count me in too, with any monies required. Josh - stay strong - we are all behind you and, ignore these morons who shouldn't be allowed a vote or to enter any football stadium in the UK.
  7. Despicable that Celtic have such power over the SFA and their "Compliance Officer". Makes a mockery of football and referees. I do hope our lawyer has as much power as Dundee United's one - if Josh has to miss the Final, then there is no justice in football for the "minor" teams. When ICT appeal a red card, it is rejected more often than not, when Celtic (and more recently for blatant issues - Dundee United)(shifty Cifcti for example), then it is rescinded, so it is blatantly obvious that there is one rule for the teams with loadsamoney and another rule for the supposed "also rans ". So unfair for ICT to be victimised in such a way. What about their goalie assault on Ofere (no word of that), what about Scott Brown should have had a second card and thus a red (no word of that). Oh but they play for Celtic. So, nothing done or said. I rest my case. Furious.
  8. Or going back, it took weeks and weeks for Craig Dargo to score any goals.
  9. Just to clarify they are Red Cross not paramedics Having had a very serious emergency a couple of years ago, at Aberdeen, when similar Red Cross volunteers were required to attend to my nephew, and found wanting, because their "mobiles had not been charged" and thus they could not call on the Doctor required, if it was not for Naelifts my nephew could have died or been seriously brain damaged. Since then I have had no faith in volunteers and had had full training in emergency first aid and would be able to help my nephew, or any other fan, in any future situation. My eternal thanks to Naelifts, if it wasn't for him that day, Aberdeen FC would have been in very serious trouble. I believe, since then, all mobiles for first aiders etc at football stadiums have to be checked and I do hope this continues for the future. However, I do think those on Saturday were a bit slow to attend to Dean, who was obviously in severe pain.
  10. I don't think you have a hope in h..l of that outcome. Maybe I am cynical but I think a certain Club Chairman's megabucks may be involved somewhere, but, don't quote me and I name no names. Umpteen appeals upheld ? How many of ours have ever been upheld - even when genuine evidence - once again money talks. Ciftci is a cheat, a thug and a disgrace to Scottish football and the sooner he goes back to Turkey, the better.
  11. Many thanks RR TV - I missed most of match due to prior engagement - but these 11 minutes are very worthwhile watching and better than any BBC TV have done. Again, well done RR TV.
  12. Bother! I cannot go on Tuesday night. Botheration and other stronger words!
  13. Only once in my life have I wished real ill will on an absolute rotter and, it happened! Made some of my friends look at me in a different light! I now wish real ill will on that thug - he is no advert for sport and/or sportsmanship and a dreadful example for young players who try their best for their Club. May he come to grief soon, in any way possible - come on Celtic - give him a real do-ing where it hurts.
  14. Gosh - you are all so "on the ball". Dates and games, please?
  15. As Edward Ofere only arrived at ICT a couple of days ago, has had no time to get to know the players, know the system of play, or even get fit for the SPFL, is he the first ever ICT player to score on his debut ?
  16. As a postscript - anyone (please) (just hope Andycam has it) got footage of an ICT corner near the end. Ciftci, standing beside his own goalkeeper, as the ball comes in - Ciftci throws his OWN goalkeeper to the ground! obviously in the hope that the referee will think that an ICT player has fouled the goalkeeper. Now - who has planned that? Ciftci? the goalkeeper? the manager? who? It seemed planned so someone must have thought of it. Really dirty work at the cross roads .... typical of a cheating team and, time action was taken. Those of us who saw it were appalled.
  17. Disappointing news indeed. Hope whatever is the problem is sorted soon.
  18. Having been at the game, got home late (approx. 2am) and had to be up early (6am) for work, I was thoroughly cheesed off reading the comments of those on this forum who seemed to believe the rubbish spouted by the commentators at the game - utter tosh for the most part. Surely, by now, those who listen to radio commentary, must know the bias against ICT. We, at the game, were very vocal regarding a referee (usually reasonably good) who (as Yogi saw) seemed to believe every United player who play-acted, moaned, waved their arms, complained, whatever. Ciftci, for example, should have an Oscar for his play acting - he was involved in virtually every incident - he is a cheat, (remember the day he nearly throttled Graeme Shinnie but got off with it later), and will always be a cheat. Leopards don't change their spots and unfortunately Gary Warren is now red-carded for this United players actions. Surely it is time that the "high heid yins" in the SPFL were brave (as if) and made a stand (huh, again as if) to stamp out these actors/histrionics. They are a disgrace and have no place in football. Sorry for this rant - overtired due to lack of sleep, but......ever an avid ICT supporter, despite Ciftci and Dundee United. Onwards to Mudderwell on Saturday and then stopping any dancing in the streets of Raith!! the following Saturday.
  19. For memories sake, I have just watched a DVD of the game this afternoon. Wonderful memories. Was shouting at TV as if it was happening all over again, and, cursing at Hamill - he really did get his come-uppance..
  20. I've always taken my boys, now teenagers. I stood on the Howden End from age 11 but always knew what was right from wrong. I'm sorry but are folk so nieve to think there will be no bad language at a football match? Would have fathered they complained at time tho rather than leave. Maybe a bit of acceptance re the swearing on one hand and a bit of toning it down on the other? I was in the Howden End even before you! and my Dad said - just don't listen to the sweary words and NEVER repeat them. I was unable to attend yesterday - unwell - but I can put up with most swearing but the c word is unacceptable in every company - young or old, no matter where. That's the crux of the matter in my humble opinion.
  21. You been on the electric soup again IHE? See you tomorrow!.
  22. I'll be there, on supporters bus, with all the regulars, and - same team as Tuesday please, and same result too, please. Hope, hope, fingers crossed etc.
