  1. Will it echo round the stadiums tomorrow???
  2. Joking aside, I may be alone on this, but good luck to the Gudgies tomorrow, I think they are in with a shout. Can we have Gardyne when you are finished with him?
  3. Cheers ginger, or can I call you Jaggy................we are now covered for this weekend, Granty24 will do the report this weekend, I have done a preview. Send me a pm with your County stuff and I will put it forward for the main site. Granty may also want to do one so send them in and we will see how it goes.
  4. Budding journalists, where have you all gone. This looks like being an exciting run in to the title and with games coming up thick and fast we really need to keep the the previews and reports coming thick and fast. Young Granty24 and Hislopsoffsideagain have been doing a great job getting some work online, but are there any others willing to share the burden??? Anyone wanting to help out stick yer name down for the final push. Please don't put your name down if you are not going to offer anything. Me.
  5. I agree Johnboy, but only when the time is right. The season is at a critical stage now and the introduction of one or both of these youngsters would be a fair weight on their young shoulders. When all is lost or the title is won, then by all means give them a game, but right now we need bottle.
  6. Johnboy will be happy. Don't see this anywhere else so thought I'd give you a heads up. Story here on Official Site. Good signings for the future of this club.

What would you call somebody who tosses a coin?
  8. You little
  9. Right guys, the topic is headed as 'official' for feedback to enable everybody to move forward. Off to PM for your discussion over the merits of each others posts.
  10. The topic is about first division game coverage. No mention of ICT in the title or opening post. People can read the whole forum. Should make no difference which forum the topic is in. This subject comes up every so often, sometimes more ICT related such as Alba Cup Final coverage etc. The other topics are more current and will provoke responses centered round ICT...such as SPL expansion would benefit us and such like, the radio one was pertinent to that evenings game. I should not have to justify the reason for moving the topic as it seems fairly obvious, but seeing as you asked, that is my reply. If you want to appear on the ICT forum, then start a topic specifically about ICT or the players etc, there are plenty of topics waiting to be discussed. enjoy.
  11. Too many sad people on here. County for the aforementioned extra games and also for the sake of football North of the central belt. I think Hibs might be in for a surprise anyway and if County don't beat them first time, they might just take them North and stuff them. Remember, Hibs have a poor record up here, only scoring once against us and a couple of draws.

It is a blow, but better to get the games without him out of the way now and have him for the run in. Sanchez, McBain, Eagle, Lionel.....................I would imagine Dani will get the nod.
  13. I would have said this one. We sort of came unexpectedly from nowhere to win it last time, and we were not one of the favourites. This time we are hovering in the zone, just off the pace, but we have a team well capable of pulling it off.
  14. I'd rather be in our shoes the way the fixtures are panning out.
  15. Did you hear their new chant tonight. Nana nana nana nana na naaa na na Nana nana nana nana na naaa na na He's five foot ten with thinning hair We wanted Adam but we don't care Wa-ayne Rooney United's number nine High praise indeed for Adam.
  16. As we get ever closer, I'm sure that hissssssssssss is getting louder.
  17. It appears a poorly handled situation by both parties here. There should have been some form of communication prior to this. And this should have happened both ways surely. Maybe in the harsh light of day you need to go to the stadium and speak to the financial people to see where the problem has arisen. There is a reason for everything. It may just be human error on behalf of either party, but don't give up on your freedom of choice to support who you want. Keep supporting Kid, you are too far down the line to give up now.
  18. I doubt Dundee will finish in the top three this season.
  19. Not quite, looks like Richie Foran's granny has voted.
  20. Why, he might want to try SPL football next year.
  21. Hard fought win tonight. Proctor played at right back with Tokely in place of Bulvitis. Eric kept his place. He started slowly but the more attacking we did, the more prominent he became. Jonny Hayes, despite that haircut was teasing the Queens defence and Richie Foran was doing his usual stint, some great running on the left flank. The defence looked a bit hesitant at times and Proctor almost gifted an opening with a loose ball played across the face of our box. Hesitancy between the new pairing let Queens in but the attack was snuffed out eventually. Esson came to our rescue when Queens played in Holmes I think. He was on his own eighteen yards out but Ryan stood tall and blocked him as he tried to round him. An important save at that stage of the game. We threatened at the other end without troubling the keeper, Rooney curling just over from 20 yards. Hayes was probing, but the crosses were usually met with the head of big Marvin Andrews. Just before the break, Foran met a deep cross from Cox on the left side of the goal area and knocked it back across the box where Rooney arrived on the scene and knocked it in. We almost scored at the start of the second half but the ball was cleared off the line and scrambled clear. We were starting to look more dangerous now. Rooney scored number two when little Jonny headed onwards and as he held off the defender he unleashed a shot from the edge of the box. It took a slight nick off the defenders challenge and beat the diving Hutton high up his right hand side. Superb diagonal runs by Rooney were threatening to realise more goals. Queens were thrown a lifeline when a needless challenge by Proctor or Munro brought down Weatherston on the left edge of the box. No danger of the Queens player going anywhere but the challenge was adjudged to be unfair and Holmes sent Esson the wrong way from the resultant spot kick. A few brief flurries from Queens were repelled by our improving back line and we were constantly hitting on the break. Rooney was everywhere and Foran was backing him up brilliantly. Jonny was now taking the mick as he toyed with the opposition to chants of ole.....ole.....ole.....booo as the final pass went astray. A third goal arrived as Foran was bundled over inside the six yard box after bursting forward to meet another Lee Cox chip into the danger area. Rooney did the necessary to complete his hat-trick and a fabulous night for him. Golly took a nasty knock after he made a late tackle but he continued after treatment. The final whistle was welcomed almost as loudly as the Ross County score. It had been a good night for ICT as we moved into second place on goal difference. The race for the title is hotting up, don't go away. MoM, undoubtedly the clearest cut decision in the history of MoM awards, the man of the moment Adam Rooney. We wanted Wayne but we don't care.....................He was ably assisted by Russell Duncan and Richie Foran. Lee Cox is another having a good spell, and his two assists are no surprise as he does not often waste balls. Defence had their moments and we looked uncomfortable at times, but Esson certainly earned his corn with that block in the first quarter. Eric has some superb touches when he has the time and some of his turns were sublime. Overall, we deserved to win comfortably but made harder work of it than the fans would have liked, but 3-1 was just reward for all the hard work. Bring on Morton on Saturday.
  22. Adam Rooney was simply fantastic tonight, running channels holding the ball up laying it off and best of all putting it in the back of the net. What a performance by Adam, just brilliant. We made heavy weather of this early on but thoroughly deserved to win. I'll be back.
  23. Brown sauce will suffice, cheers
  24. Dundee's record against us is........oh, wait a minute, they have failed to beat us in three games in the league. We are a totally different proposition than we were earlier in the season. While I don't see a defeat doing us much good, there are still a dozen games to go for us. Dundee are rubbish on the road and have eight away games to play. Queens and County are much the same. It's all going to get very tight at the business end of the table, so keep the doom and gloom until the inevitable happens. I'm sure come the end of the season there will be plenty of 'I told you so' topics around. Those on the down side have the odds stacked in their favour, but if you ain't got hope, then theres precious little else to cling on to. Comfortable win for us tonight, or I'll eat my underpants.
  25. Hisssssssssssssssssssss Were ya fitting dishes in Dundee.............. Looks like Home & Away might be critical to the outcome of the league title. Dundee 3 at home-----------8 away. County- 5 at home-----------8 away Queens 5 at home------------9 away Pars----6 at home ------------6 away Partick- 5 at home------------5 away ICT---- 7 at home-------------5 away Plenty of points still to play for. Some teams don't traveol well, like Dundee, lets see if they can handle it when the going gets tough.
