  1. How true this can be, funny as feck though.
  2. it won't matter how many cheat as long as the answers are not made public before latman puts the answers on the thread. I will definitely cheat cos i'm too thick to know the answers, but I won't post them...........
  3. We can delete Lionel now as I believe he will be suspended for his sending off against Falkirk in last seasons cup defeat................unless of course we use Dunfermlines team of scrutineers.
  4. ooohhh, look at me, for new read knew...............thats what happens when I rush. Good quiz though, difficult questions I thought. If anyone on here knew all the answers off the top of their head then they should be on mastermind. Stick one on every weekend, it will soon catch on. All answers should maybe be PM'd to you but google will always be my friend. Maybe those that look and try could add their scores as the days go by.
  5. Thought I had better add, that although the game is on (mfr just confirmed as well), I presume the club are still looking for assistance to grit the surrounding car parks etc.
  6. Thats the one, look to the link on the left, NEWS, it drops down to give you two options, ICT NEWS, or THE DUGOUT The ICT news is about the club, centenary/games on/off etc The dugout should be about what is happening on the pitch/injuries/signings etc, it is sadly lacking. Our official site is the worst in the SFL for any information regarding players.
  7. HT: 0-0 FT: 2-1 1st Scorer ICT: Hayes 1st Scorer Opp: Murphy Crowd: 2164
  8. Probably, how many official sites are there? Check the news from the dugout...... ....the gaffers aftermatch commentary
  9. No, latest news on official site is Eric scoring against Airdrie a month ago, give them time. They were not aware a pitch inspection was taking place, but upon asking the chairman he confirmed the game was going ahead.............unless he does not know of a pitch inspection either.
  10. Just spoken to club and game is going ahead. Wooooohoooooooooo.............football at last.
  11. By all accounts Dunfermline were very unfortunate not to have won this game and pummelled the Dundee defence for most of the second half, Dundee having two attacks and scoring with one of them. Plenty of points still to play for.
  12. Andy Murray has started with an easy victory in his first match crushing six foot eight South African qualifier Kevin Anderson 6-1 6-1 6-2. Games can be seen live on BBC sport.
  13. Scored with Macgregor
  14. Yes, I have crapulation at the weekend...........themos is Thermos flask..... Latviaman, it's difficult to put answers on the thread as, speaking for myself I only new two answers, but with the help of google I managed to get them all right, but then that defeats the purpose of the quiz. I cheat, I know, it's the only way to get it right.
  15. Did you mean Wii free?
  16. Back to Roy, he apparently has a back injury that will keep him out of the squad for now.......
  17. It would not allow me to enter a prediction before kick off time today for the Dundee v Pars game. Will any previously entered scores still stand for re-arranged games?
  18. I don't think the bubble has burst yet, but there is definitely a leak somewhere.
  19. So it does................. It's a pity our official site has no mention of it and only requested assistance to grit the car parks for Monday afternoon. ***note, it appears that the South (normally away) car park and the directors car park will be the only ones open. The North Stand car park is probably still badly affected by ice and the aftermath of this will be ankle deep water.
  20. Ooooerrrrr Did not realise we were having a pitch inspection this morning.........(sunday) I would have thought the pitch is fine, it has been clear of snow for a week or two. The earlier problems were the roads in the surrounding areas. There is a call for volunteers to assist to grit the car parks as there will still be plenty of ice there, but the thaw has begun and I would imagine this game will go ahead. This thread was started with the original game in mind, maybe that was the inspection you mentioned?
  21. Dundee were practically everybodies favourites to cruise to the SPL long before the season started. The curse of the relegated team has seen us hang on the outer fringe of the battle for promotion along with todays opponents for the jute wallah's, Dunfermline. With Raith Rovers usurping the Harry Wraggs yesterday and Airdrie dicovering that the City of Discovery is not such a daunting place to visit is the engraver right to continue to etch Dundee's name on the SFL trophy? On the face of it, Dundee appear to be strolling to the inevitable, promotion to the fame and fortune of the SPL, meeting wonderful fans from far away places, like the Arabs and the Huns, and even the Irish. But can the rest of the division do anything to halt Jocky Scott's juggernaut of the SFL. It would appear that most of the top seven teams are capable of beating each other on their day, apart from us, as we have still to get into second gear. However, should the chasing pack work together to hunt them down, then their seemingly insurmountable lead will suddenly look more fragile as the months pass. Most teams still have to play Dundee twice, that's six points that they should all be looking to recover, including us. Now I know it's not possible that every team will manage this, but as Joe Cocker said to me the other week, "with a little help from our friends", then maybe mission impossible could happen........ ................this message will self destruct in ten seconds :cdn-flag:
  22. It's ok ref, you should miss scarlet.
  23. OK, surely game on this time. Craig Brown got a boost yesterday with Well thumping Tangoman's Killie 0-3. This will be a difficult task for us, but with football starvation at a peak hopefully we can get stuck in like true underdogs and make a game of it. Count me in.
  24. Is it possible to open up the prediction league for week 21 again, apart from the Raith - Partick game which was played yesterday. None of the other games took place and the Dundee - Dunfermline game goes ahead today at 15:00.
  25. Live music for me.
