If nothing else, he really gets under the Buddies skin. Agree Bosno, he takes a lot of flak just so some folk can type a sentence.

Dougie Imrie, Dougie Dougie Imrie Dougie Imrie, Dougie Dougie Imrie Just as well for Dougie, he has been atrocious recently, same as Cowie and Hastings and Rossco. Oh well, 2-1 and pushing for more, good enough, this was the team that came from behind in extra time to beat Hibs away from home. Hearts -V- ICT : matchday thread
Mantis, you missed Roy having a volley brilliantly saved by Jambo's keeper from around twelve yards. Hearts never threatened in the second half either. Black's substitution..................amazing. And he acknowledged the fans booing Brewster when he came off. Overall, we deserved a point, but lack of decent striker showed up again.

Train to Hearts
theres usually a healthy support for Edinburgh games, I will be attending.

Should Duff Keep His Place?
I believe that McGuire has thrived on being the senior partner in the heart of the defence and has taken on that roll well giving Duff plenty of encouragement. He does not seem to do so well when Grantie is in charge having to toe the party line. Difficult decision for Brew, but whichever one he makes it should not make too much difference as they all are capable players. Mehmet could influence Brew's choice, as he is the one likely to muscle into our defence. Keep him quiet and all will be OK. ps, Please attack the ball Phillip, don't let it bounce before hoofing it, you know it makes sense.

Positivity

Jesus Christ, we can't cheer our own players. I will be disgusted if anyone cheers him during the game, unless they are St Mirren fans.

Should Duff Keep His Place?
It's not broken, so don't try and fix it. Duff and McGuire to start, with Grantie in reserve.

CAPTION COMPETITION
Pleased to meet you, I'm Craig.

v Arbroath
I hear what all the grumblings are about Roddy. The CIS cup does throw up lots of odd results as a lot of the bigger teams don't always field a strong starting eleven. Crowds are generally poor for this competition as well. It is disturbing that the likes of Barrowman & Rooney did not exactly set the heather on fire and we all know the limitations of Rory & Wood. Go back three weeks, we stuffed Aberdeen in their own backyard, nobody gave us a chance, but we did it. These games are about testing the water. It should have been a confidence booster but it wisnae. Do you know this, if Brewster had fielded his strongest eleven throughout the match and won 7-0 we would still have dissenters complaining the likes of Rory and Wood never got a game, what an opportunity for them. Spectre or somebody got it right, we conserved some of the lads energy for the real bread and butter of the SPL, that is where we will be judged by all. And we still won through to the next round, what a team, what a manager.

Where Have AllThe Fans Gone ?
It's all been tried before, but apathy takes over Andrew.

v Arbroath
Lot of fuss about nothing. The Edinburgh clubs, our national capital, have both been knocked out and the history books will show that Inverness are in the next round. When did we get this big club mentality..........we should have hammered them............... We are poor at being favourites. Arbroath gave us a fright, enough said. Positives fom last night already mentioned by those at the game, nothing new in the negatives either. Barrowmans red card is disappointing and the performances of Cowie and Imrie will need to be worked on. Some of last nights changes were forced on us, with Proctor, Duncan and Munro injured. Jimmi Jabbi will need to be careful. Black is one of the few constants we have had so far this season and simply oozes class. Vigurs is the one to make an impact again, and Duff seems to have impressed also. Esson given a start, as was Zibi last season in this competition. The only real alteration that the manager should have made was splitting the young strikers with either Rooney or Barrowmanoff. The bottom line is we are in the next round. It's only the league cup, a competition that a lot of clubs can do without.
