Neil Warnock interview
I think there is a difference between expressing our hopes and slagging the board for not signing someone who was not interested in the first place like many posters did.

ICT Vs Gretna
It would be good to get one over them before we meet in the league. Go for the jugular I say, put them to the sword and get Marius scoring again. League points are ultimately more important, moreso this season after a difficult opening run of results.

ICT -V- HEARTS - Matchday Thread
Tokely does come in for a lot of criticism regarding the subject of being out of position. Despite his superman capabilities, he is actually only human. This means that when he does go forward and cross the ball or pass it on, he finds it difficult to be in two places at the same time. There should be some kind of understanding between him and say Russel Duncan who could cover when Tokely surges forward, something he did to great effect yesterday especially in the second half. In fact I was so impressed with Rossco yesterday he will be getting my vote for MoM. Cowie also did a power of work and deservs all the praise he is getting, and Marius was another who did his fair share of tracking back and was on the edge of our box as often as he was in the Hearts box. Good all round display.

ICT -V- HEARTS - Matchday Thread
I must have been at a different game yesterday. What stage of the game were they playng us off the park? Just after we gifted them the opener, they had a better spell, but hardly threatened to overrun us. I thought we more than matched them and thoroughly deserved to win the game, in fact should have won more comfortably than the scoreline suggests. Brew must have enjoyed that one, how sweet was that. Great strike, and although he was only on for five minutes, his first touches in that space of time were impeccable, he was able to bring the ball down, hold it up and play people in, excellent display and leading by example, ye cannae do better than that. :021:

Dennis Wyness
Crusher oldest son...............Denzil could not miss............and I mean could not miss, the ball dropped onto the goal line after a Bazza volley and he actually scored, woooooohoooo Don't get me wrong, I think Denzil is a quality player, he just needs to work as hard as Cowie or Bayne and then we will have some player. I have seen Denzil miss from less, but it waqs a header. IHE, Marius did work hard today, lots of effort and if effort won matches then we were coasting. Brewsters goal apart, for the few seconds he was on was sheer class, thats what wins games :clapping03:

Injuries.....
Did Brewster not say somewhere that he would 're-assess the Hart situation' or words to that effect. When it was said at the time, I took it to be if he was good enough in the new managers opinion, then he would be included. In my own opinion, he is good enough and offers us a bit of drive and agression from the midfield and a powerful shot, always handy to get it on target though.

McCaffrey or McGuire
If Caff is fit I would go with him, not seen enough of McGuire to put him ahead of Caff, who has been our best defendefr on occasions this year. The old Caff is getting back in the zone.

New Away Shirt
TCF, I have brought this problem to the attention of the shop staff also, about three days ago and the blank looks were also evident then. I have sent a PM to Tabatha one of the ICT staff who deals with the away top, but unfortunately she was off that day. I spoke to Angela Wilson in the office and asked her to raise the issue with someone in authority, but I am not convinced this has been done. (apologies if you have raised this Angela) I have already stated I see this as a design fault and the manufacturers should be informed about this. I have had no reply from Tabs yet. I have left my name phone number and address on the PM for replies by either method.

Roll Call for Forres
No match report from me, incident packed match played out in lashing rain for the most part. Elgin made it very difficult for the young lads and can count themselves unfortunate to lose out after extra time. Dale Gillespie lashing home a low drive from twenty yards for the first goal, an extraordinary goal by Elgins keeper levelled the scores and deservedly so, the ball bouncing over the ICT keeper as he came to the edge of his box and ran on into the empty net :029: :029: :029: ICt quickly restored the lead with Shane Sutherland scoring after the ball rebounded from the post 2-1 for ICT at half time. Elgin started the second half brightly and equalised, Darren Shallicker setting up extra time. Inverness then looked the most likely to end the game but chances went abegging at both ends. Extra time, second half and Dale Gillespie sent the cup back to Inverness with a spectacular goal, as good as you will see at any level. The ball was half cleared by the under pressure Elgin defence and as it dropped about twenty three yards out in the inside right position, he watched it all the way and volleyed an unstoppable shot across the keeper into the top corner of the net, a special goal worthy of winning any cup. End to end stuff and well done both teams. about 250 From Highland league.net proper report

Celtic V ICT - Matchday Thread
No, not kencar, it's me. I agree with everybody. But after the first six games my fears have been realised, zero points from six games. We lost the two most winnable games away to Well and Mirren, always tough games but we contrived to lose them. Did we expect to beat Celtic or Rangers and Hibs away? the other toughie was United at home where we played them off the park in the first half, but it was a confidence issue and the heads went down...................so, we can have no complaints, four away games out of the first six, both old firm played and nil points, zero, zilch, ferk all. I watched some of yesterdays game on the net and thought we could have scored a couple of goals which would have changed the game, our good outfield play again came to nothing and you don't usually get a second chance against one of the top teams in Europe Our season starts next week bring it on.

New Away Shirt
Very selfish attitude Eliza, did you expect the club to put your name on the front in bold type twice the size of the rest You should have bought two shirts and framed them front and back. Waste of ?100..................thats life. My two sons are on the back, once only, no complaints from us. It's thumbs up from us :021: :022: :021:
