  1. I voted for Tokely. A few reasons. I have watched him organising the defence at free kicks and corners and keeping younger players right on the pitch. I also believe the captaincy would make him more level headed. I think Grant Munro would play better without the pressure of being captain. He is a credit to the team but last season was hardly his best. And last reason of all - just the small matter that he led us to relegation last season!!!
  2. What is format here? Do we just sit in our usual seats or what?
  3. I think Kath deserves a medal for organising the supporters bus. I have used it several times and will continue to do so. What in life is perfect?
  4. IfRichie Foran and Brian Kerr stay for next season i will be chuffed as they have both impressed me this season. Maybe all is not lost.
  5. Didn't know he had been released. Now THAT is a tragedy. I always rated him very highly and he did well when he got a rare chance to come on. I am sad to see all the youngsters going but am extremely p*ssed off at this. Hope Zander moves onwards and upwards. All the best wee fella.
  6. Sorry to see you go Iain. I thought with good young players like you we had a chance of fighting our way back into the SPL. Good luck in the future - this decision will probably come back and bite us on the backside.
  7. Yes - at a football match. It is about a highland sport and has as much to do with football as most of the music played. You have to think out of the box a ghraidh. And a couple of Kenneth MacKellar numbers wouldn't go amiss. JOKING!!!!!
  8. I like Highland Cathedral - better than any old sh*te that happens to be in charts on the day. It has a connection to us here in Highlands. What about Runrig- Loch Lomond/ Clash of the Ash for half time? that should get us all rocking! And I think the original Dougie Maclean version of Caledonia is a must pre match. I also like Deacon Blue, Dignity as that sums up our team for me. And I may be an old codger but I have a right to a say like anyone else. 'smar sinn leibh.
  9. we have to beat Hamilton as they are the biggest shower of cheating barstewrds in the SPL. The last away game against them was a disgrace. hopefully referee will be a bit smarter on Sunday. WE ARE STAYING UP
  10. Alness - it is full of weegies
  11. I don't think Grant Munro has been a good captain and think Ross Tokely should be given the armband next year. I am sure he would walk the Sahara just as quickly! And give Lionel a break - without him in the team where were we? He isn't perfect but then neither is Munro. Duff is a good young player and great to see him being given the chance in first team to prove himself.
  12. After the tremendous support given at falkirk match and subsequent performance by the team maybe no-one dared make too much noise! But well done the lads - an excellent 3 points. Keep it going. WE ARE STAYING UP
  13. I for one would be sorry to see him go. I haven't seen him play often but when I have he has been fast on the ball and caused trouble on the wing. I know we need experienced players to see us through the next few difficult weeks however perhaps a wee injection of youthful enthusiasm might serve us well. And I don't mean Andy Barrowman - he's had more than ample opportunities!
  14. It would be great if we kept him. He is a fantastic asset to the club. I shall be very sorry to see him go and I hope that when he comes back as a Hearts player next season we shall all give him the cheer he deserves. Can we blame Brewster for the credit crunch?
  15. I am losing the will to live!!!!!!
  16. STOP MOANING AND GET DOWN THERE TO SUPPORT OUR TEAM

    1 From 4

Don't care who goes down as long as it isn't us. Basically all we have to do now is win all our remaining games and we are safe - which is better than having to wait and see what other teams do. So no sweat then!!!!!

I think Lionel has done really well and do not think it should have been a penalty yesterday as it was tit for tat in the box. And never a red card!! He has played with passion and commitment - can we say that about some of our more regular players in every game? I remember a couple of weeks ago Russell Duncan was sent off quite rightly and he didn't attract anywhere near as much stick as Lionel. And who on earth picked man of the match yesterday? They must be lacing the prawn sandwiches with hallucinatory drugs!
  19. One of highlights of the night was when the huns sang that Rule Britannia sh*te. We responded by singing Flower of Scotland and the moronic horde didn't know how to respond as even they seemed to realise they couldn't boo OUR national anthem. Thankfully they didn't start singing theirs. God save the huns! SCOTTISH NOT BRITISH
  20. My thinking was - if Rngers don't score in first half we could maybe edge a point. For us to win in the way we did - a penalty at Ibrox in extra time!- well, if you predicted it you would be called a nutter! Thought I had broken my ribs with shouting and jumping up and down! I am also still floating - took hours to get to sleep. Bring on Falkirk - bring on the world!
  21. lets just be glad Brewster has gone andmove on. I floated back from Glasgow last night/ this morning. maybe we all had to go through the Brewster phase to realise what a fantastic team we have. You could probably pay all our guys wages and get change from just ONE Rangers players wage. The commitment last night was fantastic. WE ARE STAYING UP!
  22. Join the Supporters Club then you won't have to worry about parking or mixing with undesirables!
