  1. Went to a Lyon vs Le Mans match when i was staying in Le mans, Karim Benzema scored the best goal i have ever seen in the flesh so probably him. Have to say though, lyon fans are absolute prats.
  2. Going to give it a shot but i cant be sure, need to get back to Dornoch from the Bus...
  3. Its a tough call as if we are safe we will be able to attract better players and if that was the case i would only renew Kerr, Vigurs, Foran and Djebi Zadi(and obviously Black if possible). We need to keep the budget down so that we can get good enough players to launch a serious attack on the top six.
  4. Despite your best efforts i dont think TCS will ever be considered a fortress, fortresses like Hamburgs stadium are fortresses because the fans the make it that way not because they can think of a good name. If we make a hellish amount of noise then we could call it a fortress.
  5. As pleased as i am for Ian i cant help but think this is a bit of a **** take, ian is essential if we intend to stay up. Playing for Scotland is one thing but Scotland B really isnt a huge achivement, i understand that playing for scotland at any level is great but surely he is good enough for a full cap. I also understand that playing for Scotland B will help his plee for a full cap but with Terry Butcher watching him train everyday, what is he gaining from this?
  6. Right here right now is a great song for getting players psyched, at the hamilton game the stuff you played was dire. It might get you psyched for a night out in whichever gay club you go to but not a football match.
  7. They do sell pies... Cheap plastic seats? the seats are the exact same quality of the ones at caley. Your complaints are pretty pathetic, Pittodrie's an old stadium so it wasn't built for comfort.
  8. I've said from the start of the season that we'd have to fight to stay in the spl and we have had to ( and still do). However, having watched the Aberdeen game im beginning to wonder if the players are getting tired. The international break couldn't have at worse time for us, we'd built up some momentum and looked confident but the players didn't look confident at all against Aberdeen. I'd say Kille are safe just because they realise that if they do go down they really are buggered as they struggle to pull people in now, so if they go down they wouldn't have enough money to keep going. So i'd say Hamilton Killie Midden Caley Falkirk (it could be vice versa but being an optimist il say Falkirk to go down)
  9. The game was decent, first half we dominated and had Morais not been so selfish we'd of had a goal but nevermind. Aberdeen outplayed us the second half. The only positive from the second half was that the defence was very good, Esson was out of place for the goal but other than that he had a really good game.
  10. When i was at Eden court the other night i saw Pavels walking towards the houses up that way.
  11. Its got to be a 4-4-2 for me. Esson Tokely-------------Pavels------------------Munro-----------Hastings (if he's not injured) Morais---------------Black-------------------Kerr-------------Foran ----------------------Rooney------------------Imrie
  12. I really like Dougie as a player but i feel he's often caught out of position, which is why you always see him doing 40 yard runs to get a ball which is just going to get punted downfield anyway. He's obviously not a natural striker and i feel him and odihiambo are just to similiar (physically) for it to work. Eric needs to play alongside a target man and dougie should play behind a target man.
  13. Just heard a rumor that Johnson was going back to feyenoord on loan. He was there as a youth player. Maybe its rubbish, though.
  14. The performance last night was pretty good. Just wish we were a bit more clinical, was really impressed with robby and Bellamy. Regarding Johnson- didn't realise he was injured but its slightly worrying if hes not that bothered about coming back. He could be a brilliant player given enough first team football.
  15. Nah its not fair, this is a similar thing to the spanish league. If celtic can have a lower league team then so should everyone else. Do celtic have a reserve team? if they dont then ignore what i just said.
  16. The away record is awful but at home we play the sort of football that would win the league. Obviously, im not saying were going to win the league anytime soon but surely if we can play that sort of football consistently we'd be in with a shout of getting the top 4. Kaka would not of been a good signing, we have players like ireland and elano(amongst others) who play the exact same game. I think the squad is strong wnough as it is, we have michael johnson and gelson fernandes on the bench.
  17. It wouldn't be a bad bet especially now that Torres seems to have found his form again, but man utd look brilliant and they would need them to slip up. Which doesn't look like happening.
  18. In the first half we had a few good attacks, but we never looked like we were going to score. Hamilton threatened more and won the game because of it, they could even of had a penalty in the second half. Brewster did the usual 2 subs in the last two minutes which didn't give the players a chance to do anything. The famine song was sung but there was only a few signing it, thankfully.
  19. I agree that Mcbains stepped it up but i think your too quick to praise, he's been pretty poor this season.
  20. Does anyone know how strict the stewards at Hamilton are? i took a drum down to dundee only to find out i couldn't take it in.
  21. im definitely going, everytime i've gone the bus has stopped in aviemore so it should be ok. The bus stops in perth at the bus stop in the centre of the town. I thought every team had to give 2000 seats to away support but obviously not.
