Yeh we are not so good at sitting in and defending leads, or playing for draws. Falkirk will have to go for the win, so we can pick them off on the counter attack. I hope to god we score first, because if we don't, I can't take it.
  2. This is exactly the scenario that I didn't want to happen. Do we play for the draw? Do we play for the win? And what are Falkirk going to do? I think they will be very very nervous, because if we score first, they then need to score 2. If they push on though, I could see us hitting them on the counter attack
  3. Lionel instead off Mcbain and i dont think Odhiambo is fully fit Lionel is a bit of a bomb scare at times. McBain has played left back a few times this season and done well. And I would rather have Odhiambo on crutches than Andy Barrowman.......
  4. If Kevin Kyle does play, I'm putting my money on Ross Tokely to munch him in the first challenge and let him no he's there. :D Midden fans are saying that John Potter just stood off him all game, and as soon as some other CB came on, he clattered into Kyle and they didn't hear or see him for the last 30 mins of the game. I would have: Esson Proctor - Tokely - Munro - McBain Morais - Black - Kerr - Imrie Foran - Odhiambo ICT 3-2 Kylemarnock. But if Kyle doesnt play I think we could win comfortably at 2-0 or 3-1
  5. You reckon Henry's a better player than Ronaldinho ? Ronaldinho did absolutely nothing the time I saw him. He even got subbed! Henry set-up one and scored another.
  6. Thierry Henry. But just seeing Ronaldinho was enough for me, even if he didn't play particularly well.

Not a clue, just remember he played for the Dons, with just under 100 appearances. Don't really know much about him now as he sort of disappeared off the radar by heading to Denmark And i remember Roy McBain beating him with a strike from 25 yards on his right foot. God, he must be bad if Roy McBain scored with his right foot! Maybe not!

I posted this on some other thread already, but ex-Aberdeen keeper David Preece is apparently looking for a new club. He's with some Danish side just now. I wouldn't say no to Mark Brown coming back though. :)
  10. They can gladly have all three! Although I don't think Butcher will be letting Zadi go. Personally I think the only posts that Brewster may be capable of filling are fitness coach or the team bus driver.
  11. Typical of us though - we don't exactly do things the easy way. Like the First Division title: we decided to give Clyde an 8 point head start before we eventually got there.
  12. But the Midden have only won once since the start of the new year, and they looked awful when we played them. Let's hope our lads can get it sorted out this weekend as I don't think I can go to the Falkirk game if we have to win
  13. Either way, it's still in our own hands. I just hope that it doesn't come down to the last day against Falkirk as they aren't exactly our favourite team to play
  14. Yep, +2 or 3. Don't know if I will actually be able to watch the game though! The nerves will be horrific. Come on lads
  15. only if falkirk beat saint mirren
  16. Before the match, I probably would have taken a draw. We now have to get something against Killie on saturday, and if we do and the Midden get beat, we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief.
  17. If Lionel gets a goal he will probably be given the keys to Inverness! He came close against the Midden and Hamilton in our last two games All our goals since January have been kind of crucial. Tonight I'm going to go for Brian Kerr to score a 30 yard screamer against his old club and Richie Foran to set up Dougie Imrie for the second goal which clinches the three points. :023:
  18. What a legend. He would run through a brick wall for ICT
  19. David Preece, ex-Aberdeen keeper is apparently looking for a new club this summer. Think he's at some Danish team at the moment. And with Fraser heading out the door, and no idea what's happened with Esson, we will be needing at least one new keeper.

Imrie will run around all day, but what lets him down is his final ball. It is terrible sometimes. Last week at St Mirren he tried to pass to McBain (I think) 4 yards away, and rolled it to the Midden player! But in the second half of that game, he looked like a major threat, but Camara is awful. Yesterday wasn't Imrie's best. How he sclaffed his first half chance like he did, I will never know.
  21. I think Lionel's problem is that if he makes an early mistake he loses his confidence. There have been other weeks that he gets in a good challenge in the opening minutes, and plays well for the rest of the game - the Dundee United game sticks in mind when he cleared EVERYTHING at our back post. Chances are though, that if I have a heart attack at one of our remaining games, it will probably be because Lionel has skinned the opposition player, and himself.
  22. I really hope we do not end up going into the last day of the season, at home to Falkirk, having to draw or win to keep us up. I can't see us managing that. I just hope we are out of their sight when that comes around.
  23. He did well at centre half. In the second half Proctor was good going forward, but none of the mazy runs like roscoe. He was solid when he played in centre mid against hearts when we lost 3-2 at Tynecastle. And he had a cheeky wee backheel past one of the Accies players yesterday when he was thrown up front. I think keep him at right back. If we didn't have Pavels, I would say stick Tokely in the centre.
  24. I will take a point. We were dire in the first half, and only marginally better in the second. Having said that, Hamilton weren't really any better. Let's just thank our lucky stars that Falkirk didn't pick anything up against Hearts. Thought Tokely had a pretty solid game at the back. Esson didn't really have that much to do, Black and Kerr were alright in the second half. Foran and Imrie were pretty much awful. I have never, EVER seen a team that time-wasted and threw themselves to the floor as much as Hamilton. Can totally see what Craig Levein was on about. It was a disgrace. And the ref didn't even book one of them. He was just as much of a joke - absolutely abysmal. How could book Black, but not their number 8 and 18 (although 18 eventually went in the book), I will never know. There is a lot of work still to be done and if we are to stay in the SPL, we are going to have to play a lot better than that. Come on ICT.
  25. Aye, and that guy who shouted "ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK" would shout "We want four!" when we were only 1-0 up! Not heard him for a verrrrrry long time.
