  1. ^ this. Nothing to do with the council. It's been said countless times since 2015 the club failed to capitalise or engage and nothings changing. Behind the scenes we are a toxic shambles and no cup run looks to be cchamging that.
  2. Tbf, they were away to 'europe' playing a high level friendly capable of providing suitable preparation against a Champions League level side. Not to worry about learning from the past and improving communication and capitalising on potential success and profile. I'm sure the Inverness bussiness community will be rallying around to throw some money into the club............oops, burnt those bridges didn't we
  3. Any grown adult who refers to having a 'big team' deserves to be laughed at. Absolute sap behaviour.
  4. Celtic defence being rag-dolled today by Curtis main, appears the missing CCV means they can't handle physical and ariel threats. Shame we rely on a strike force that the borrowers look down on and lack a target man for Doddsball.
  5. nope Looking likely its Premiership for Doddsball next season afterall
  6. TBH, by the time you walk through town, queue at Central with the hoards of Celtic fans awaiting a train then shuffle off to Hampden and then face the return which will be even worse...............if you're fit and able its as quick just to walk all the way from town to stadium. No more than an hour but can be extended depending on how many pub stops you opt for
  7. Lots of football clubs have a DoF, just its questionable whether at our level when £2M in debt and allegedly paying 6 figure salary is a good investment, especially when recruitment results have been average over the last few seasons. Additionally since we should have a scouting network, or use the funds to divest into that area we should cover more ground for targets and I agree the manager should be heavily involved in target selection based on his required playing style (hit and hoof Doddsball as its known)
  8. Surely you mean they will have the Celtic end and some overspill Ultimate Scottish football tin-pot behavior that a national stadium has defined stands and ends for specific clubs
  9. And maybe a better manager, tactics and DoF who is finding such starlets
  10. Technically a player who's contract is expired is not released. Not retaining someones services and releasing/terminating from a contract are 2 different scenarios, distinctions and legal obligations.
  11. First the paranoia Then the resignation The criticism along with potential mitigation Mitigations actions in place but, nope.....still not happy
  12. For a 5.30 KO, its pretty poor planning for designated buses or traveling fans not to plan far enough ahead to get to Glasgow in time.
  13. Clearly awaiting to do this back at the stadium after the cup parade through town....................(if they can find a bus)
  14. So many moans and complaints. If we had been given only 3-5k tickets (which TBF based on our attendances in the league and cup games is all we should deserve) then everyone would be crying about unfair representation, now its 'how do we stop the big bad Celtic fans sitting next to us'
  15. Suggesting that not welcoming or condoning sectarianism or religious bigotry and those who partake in spreading such bile is in itself bigotry, seems an odd stance to take.
  16. Has to be Akinyemi and thankfully, he will have done enough to be away for next season when Ayr continue their permanent Championship stay.
  17. Its not just fans, I'd consider extending that towards
  18. If that really is the case then its incredibly tin-pot & amateur as we have had these discussions year on year regarding play-off dates etc. However the P&J as a source has little credibility and doubtful any access to the legal T&C's of player contracts or the caveats in place. Hypothetically though, if I was a player and my contract expires then I may not be able to extend due to having signed & committed to another club (PCA) or through my agent will be looking for a hefty additional sum to extend a few days knowing the club are ****** for a cup final with half a team missing!!!
  19. All the clubs finished the season will have released players for summer holidays and are rebuilding for next, all others still have competitive games ongoing (this extends both north & south of the border). Best hope might be a few bounce games against PL reserve or youth teams, otherwise can you expect any club (even a HL or Elgin) to say 'Aye, no bother we will call our lads up just to come play a friendly against Caley and they will start cancelling their AI hols to Magaluf'.
  20. Its expected that the contract wording would be until XX date or after final season game whichever is latest in calender to cover these eventualities as the club will know the play-off date risks wrt to contract end dates. SC & league games (including play-off) are part of the regular game season.
  21. Hate Friday night options. Never please everyone I guess, but it's crap for away fans, home fans that aren't in the local area and anyone who works in most jobs til 5 or 6pm. I know wknd fixtures affect some too but the extent is less IMO. Will await ST renewal prices and direction of the club first but I agree that with inflation and living costs the prospect of spending on something that feels a chore makes hard decisions for many. Add the lack of club engagement with fans and general apathy shown there is a danger of significant reduction in uptake and club income.
  22. Given the insipid display, good to hear Billy was ready to fight even if mant times this year he set his team up opposite to that
  23. Performed well before at this level so his ability is not in question and would be harsh to say he has peaked. Either comes down to attitude and motivation or the coaching and how he is asked or trained to play. Hope he's not one of these youngsters who thinks because he had a bigger club move and gets a bit more cash that he's already made it and too good for loans and diddy leagues.
