  1. Maybe not but do they want imrie and on what reasoning? Or is this another case of ex-player or coach returning?
  2. Hoping for more structure, shape, organisation and identity in our play. Will be interesting to see who our DoF plays based on his recruitment involvement and what formations. It'll be an indication of how Dodds was perceived by others within the football structure. Realistically signs of improvement over Doddsball will be welcomed. Result wise anything other than a defeat will be positive and from where we are or were with Dodds perhaps unexpected.
  3. Imrie comes across as a bit of a 'strong' character, can't see him being a boardroom choice happy to have Robbo and Gardiner making decisions on his behalf. Board will want a yes man
  4. I suspect he see's the idea for a fan meeting at a pub as being a few dissenters ranging into the 10's and not really representative of a majority.
  5. I'll just leave this here and let people reflect on an individual basis
  6. I don't see us opting for anyone that needs compensation given our finances. Although I would caveat that by suggesting perhaps if there was a 'friendly' connection to the current board who'd see nothing wrong in throwing a few quid in return for other benefit........but then again maybe not as that would be unethical and our club has staunch integrity.
  7. Criticism of those who have been failing to perform their roles adequately is perfectly justified.
  8. Obviously a survivor from both previous successful and failed regimes yet never seems to be the 'go to' guy when in need of a stand in. You'd think being so heavily involved with the first team coaching he would have been the prime choice to assist Robbo / CC or even take the responsibility but instead he's just continuing with the status quo. Schrodinger cat in may ways.
  9. Lets see who you all want then. Frightening list of dross and hope pulled together.
  10. Want - tam courts Will accept - Davidson or Neilson Expect - Jim mcintyre
  11. Congratulations to the 5 who predicted this. Kudos and being generally smug all round.
  12. Interesting to see some taking positive from the results by suggesting improvements in performance. Our next game is another tough one although at home to a top end DUtd and tbh the expectation is another defeat. Next away to Arbroath has relegation 6 pointer all over it before another tough game at home to another top end team inPartick. Its not looking to positive. More importantly is the fact we are rooted to the base of the table, longer this goes on the pressure will build on the players. I'm not sure we have 'tough characters both physically and mentally for a relegation battle. Longer this 'unlucky' run continues the more likely we are too see a complete confidence collapse and desperation taking over. While the management seem Teflon to the fans position I'm not sure the players will be. We lack a leader and its going to show.
  13. Thats really unfair, we won the Inverness cup so unlike any other club in the league we already have silverware.
  14. Post match dodds shyte talk bingo Good result today, only lost by one goal. We were unlucky, wasn't deserved and we just need a break. One day we will click.
  15. It's really a case if Raith somehow contrive to loose then their manager should do the honourable thing and resign. They will never (until next meeting if Doods stays) have a better chance to end being our bitchies
  16. Tynie Big game day hanging out with Willie Miller discussing a time they were relevant in the Scittish game?
  17. Start a thread then on that subject
  18. Unfortunately while we have this dominant record over Raith, the best hope is that we can extend it by a draw. However I fear we loose again, which will give Dodds the accolade of us loosing to for the first time in 23 years to the Kirkcaldy club.
  19. Lets see what everyone really thinks will happen.....
  20. Both of these statements are wild at best
  21. If Dodds delivers a defeat against Raith this wknd his position will be completely untenable
  22. No but it is up to the trust to represent the fans views as the direct conduit to the club. They should be astute enough to comprehend the fans position and what needs taken to be addressed. Don't think anyone considers the ST in 'cahoots', maybe too self-preservational and reluctant to challenge but certainly not driving the decline like the club members themselves.
  23. A modern footballing irrelevance and reason to turn off altogether
  24. Meaningless result today overall though, as we've lost but it hasn't negatively impacted our position in the league. Credit to the management team for bringing some stability and not letting our main competition in the championship move away from us.
  25. Already a thread on this https://caleythistleonline.com/topic/35837-ross-morrison-chairman/
