Agree, park location is such a poor excuse its laughable based on the above, there are even convinent buses out for those too lazy to walk. No matter where the stadium is located someone could cite location as they will always have to cross town or even access town from outwith to get to it. Anyone who cant spend 30 mins or less getting to games really isnt interested to start with, its closer the cinema, retail park and as close as many of the supermarkets (Tesco/Asda etc) to the city centre and I bet anyone citing location visits some of these regullarly.

He has a very good point regarding Billy, when you see Hooper, Higdon, Russell all move this summer for various fee's Billy scored as many goals as any of them but there have been no links. On one hand I'm delighted thus far we have kept him off the radar and will hopefully hang onto him, on the other slightly disappointed that for all our efforts we don't seem to get much recognition for our players. Lets hope if we do make a final this year then the powers that be look at the opposition & venue - not sure I'd fancy a cup final at Castle Greyskull!!!

Yip, him & Billy Brown are coaching for freeworki, ng with Gary Locke to keep the club going and develop the young players. Got to respect them for that and giving something back to 'their' club, shame that those who didn't care bled it dry for these guys to pick up the pieces.

Don't be so harsh - everyone knows their season starts 'next wk'.................oh how its been made so easy for us to mock

All the doom & gloom merchants are just hiding, waiting for it to all go wrong for the 'happy clappers' - if after we loose a game this year or get knocked out of a cup, even fail to make Europe 2 years running - its will all be about sack the management lol

Scarlet - not so convinced on PT (yet), they are playing well and have a settled squad, but are doing what all promoted teams do - playing in a way where nobody in the SPL is familiar with them or their style, but they do look to have enough quality to stay up. A point at home against D United - who have been very poor so far, away win to County which given the mauling they took at St J suggests they have real issues, and a point to a very weak Hearts team who have lots of enthusiasm but little experience - they will face tougher tests before a proper judgement. They will be top half of the bottom 6 IMO - we will be top half of the top 6, but its good to see another 'wee' budget team doing well.

The movement first half and dominance of motherwell was excellent to see, we should have put the game to bed by half time. Second half motherwell came into it and made changes to try break our play which worked and we weren't as effective or created as much. celtic will be a much harder test but overall the signs are good. On the day county got routed and their big money foreign legion failed to perform it shows what players with the right attitude can do.

Yip, same team again - if it aint broke and all that. Is Raven full recovered to play, if not then Devine to start.

It's Alan Brazil that annoyed me..................

TBH, this is our best chance to beat Celtic, they play the Dons this wknd and I expect a weak Celtic team in light of the CL game next wk, then depending on result the team fielded against us could be even weaker - wouldnt be surprised to see Celtic drop points in 1 or both games. Hopefully teams have learned from last year, that if Celtic make the CL everyone has the opportunity to beat them and should go out to take it.

Next 2 games will be a chance to see where we are as a team, Motherwell were our bogey team last year and exected to finish top 3 at least, then away to the champions elect - hopefully we will still be sitting top after that, confidence will be sky high then.

Esson is deemed #1 by TB, even last year when Rugero was keeper for our run up to 2nd in the league he was dropped. If there was any doubt about Esson being first choice Rugero may have stayed this season, as it is we have another keeper on loan who is doing a good job, but when fit Esson will be back.

Who in this defeated Rangers team is any good

I'm assuming this was a sarcastic statement? If that 11 couldnt beat a team of part time players and they need the £3k+ p/w stars to win games at that level then they really are a club with issues Yip superstar of 3rd tier Scottish football................. -
No point any member coming on saying the club isnt doing enough to sell tickets, County do better than us, we want a 'better' matchday experience without anyone posting up suggestions on how this can be improved in a smart, realistic and cost effective manner - not directing comments at one person, or the club or CTJ, but bringing constructive suggestions to the table which CTO can present to the club on behalf of the fans. Not seeing much in the way of this, only people griping and finding fault with what is being done and who is at fault.

4 scotland internationals and a host of youth players including international u21's. On paper quite a few could be of a quality to play in ict look at the shinnies problem is attitude based on that none of them deserve to play anything more than amature level. Consider their wages compared to the part time forfar players and every one of them should be embarrassed and ashamed to collect a pay packet. -
Tricky away ties for Jambo's away to Raith and a long midweek evening trip to Stranraer for County, Midden away to QoS - could be a few less SPFL teams by the time we enter the comp.
-
Just means fans will need to go to the games if they want to see us. Although how does this affect TV revenue for the club - is that preset at the start of the season, or do we get extra for more games shown, in which case its still heavily biased to the OF.

Same again - aint broke dont fix it, although we may want to put Foran man-marking GMS (he is the only Utd danger IMO) which might mean a shuffle in the positions they play in the middle, but same personel. How long are Allan & Watkins out injured for?
-
Stuart McCall - he has links to Sheff Utd, like Green in the past and I wouldnt be surprised if thats the guy Green would go after, but he has to remove Sally first. Laughable that a team with the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland was making excuses before the Forfar game that they had to make do with the 3rd division side and couldnt field any of their new signings - the investment and money into Murray Park over the years you would expect their U21 team to be good enough to beat some part time players (no offence to Forfar intended). The club, the people, the fans are a farce and with every story makes Scottish football more of a laughing stock.

I do agree, but by playing devils advocate regarding the games - Celtic - SPFL champs & odds on favouites for this years title, Dons, M'well - both billed as being major contenders for 2nd place, Thistle - the new team up, Hearts - the big club in major financial troubles (how will they cope) - then there is us playing Midden, a top 6 side facing what is likely a bottom 6 side. Not agreeing with the scheduling or the level of coverage - but when you look at it objectivly in light of the above, the other games probably had more interest to the majority to see how certain teams have progressed or developed. We will always be biased as fans, but give it time over the course of the season we will have more games towards the top end billing moving forwards - starting with next wk at utd.
