  1. From what I seem to have read in the press, there has been an approach made and presumably TB as an individual asked his employer could he have a chat with the interested party. Obviously if he decides to move to Hibs I will be greatly disappointed, however how is this different to anyone outside football being approached about a new role elsewhere and potentially more money - only difference is most of us dont have to ask our boss or have it played through the media.

  3. Assuming TB & MM go then I'd guess 10CC will be in charge on Sat afternoon at Easter Rd? Moving forwards we would need a dynamic young manager but if CC is willing to take the helm for a while then I dont see why we would need to rush any decision.
  4. Moving to Hibs who have a trigger happy chairman and impatient fans would be a disasterous move. Nobody gets time in that job and instant results are expected, currently that Hibs squad does not have the calibre of player to work in a TB system and I doubt he would be given more than 1 - 2 years before being sacked prior to an AGM. If he did decide to leave, I think the situation is similar to last season where we have a cup semi and doing well in the league - TB and his team I'm sure are aware that this year they could make a major final and also qualify the club for Europe - thus raising his stock and reputation further. On achieving either of those he will have taken ICT to a level which would struggle to be repeated and at that point I would expect him to leave at the ultimate high point. If Hibs do however want him and TB/MM want to go there, then I hope the board demand top level compensation and dont allow our clubs most important assets to leave on the cheap.
  5. Ha ha. No chance he will leave for there. Least worrying rumour started by the press about TB yet.
  6. Happy at that, either Easter Rd (again) or Pittodrie as both are better stadiums. I'd like to see common sense and for the final to be played at Easter Rd as well - a packed house would be better than a half empty bigger stadium IMO.

  8. I want the Jambos. The team they have cant get stronger in January due to the transfer embargo plus our players will still feel hard done by from last year - should be motivation enough.
  9. Ah the working of the SFA, lets give the biggest and most financially powerful club in Scotland the ultimate advantage of a final at home given they have the best chance of making it there. I for one hope that the Scottish cup is another OF disaster and we get a 'diddy team' final just to make the SFA look even more rediculous.
  10. I'm more interested in who we play than where, obviously if its Hibs I'd perfer Tannadice or Pittodrie than Tynecastle, but expect it would be the latter. Anyone, anywhere but out of all the remaining teams I would like to avoid St J because our recent record has been somewhat poor.
  11. Bring on the semi final, lets hope for a neutral venue like last year!!!!
  12. 810mw has game coverage. Get your old skool radios out for this one.
  13. Wont make it along, if Raven is out, I'd perfer to see Meekings moved out to RB and Devine drafted in alongside Warren. Would like to see what impact palying both Greenhalgh & Watkins would have, but being as this is a cup QF, I want to go with a winning set-up that proven than try experimenting. Brill Raven Warren Meekings Shinnie Draper Foran Doran Watkins Ross Mckay

  15. Sfa need to hit them hard for this. Last year many games were postponed due to the rain and then they had that abomination of a pitch, now its the electrics when it rains. Roy claims none of this is the club's fault - sorry but they have to take responsibility for their facilities. Total farce and this is still good weather, lucky this was a local derby and not too many fans are greatly inconvenienced unlike an opponent who travelled a lot further. Action needs taken on this immediately at all levels.
  16. Looks like its yet another postponed derby game at tinkerville.
  17. He had a poor game against St J, but has delivered in games last season, if he was as bad as you think then the club wouldnt have kept him for this year. There are others who IMO have performed worse this season and still get touted for starting positions. Personally I want to see the best team start for the tactics we need to win, an experienced team who can go to Dingwall - last away game we were out muscled and over run in the midfield - teams know if they kill our 3 of Doran, Ross & A.N other then Billy gets no service - we need to control the midfield and get Foran using his physicaility to support Billy and hold up the ball.

  20. I thought that overall we played some ok football but not as good as we have previously this season, PT came with a plan of sitting in and defending and hitting on the break and credit to them, they stuck to it and it worked. Overall I don't think we have solved the Vincent absence - I thought Greenhalgh had a decent game and looks a tricky player, but too often him, Doran & Ross were too keen to move inside or pass back than take the ball down the line and push forwards. We looked better at the back with Raven than against St J, Watkins could be a good player but I'm not sure Ross is best suited to playing the role in behind Billy. The refereeing was awful and the PT keeper had way too much protection, I hope we don't get any more games where we are so badly screwed by incompetence. Brill made an error but IMO he has done enough in previous games to show what he is worth to the team and I hope he keeps the #1 jersey. Onwards to Dungwall - we need to get the balance of the team right so I think we need to start with Toby just behind Billy as or even play Devine in midfield. Friday night won't be prety football so we need players that can show they are strong and can battle. Looks like we wont get any help from the officials to win the league since we arent from Glasgow, so better get used to doing it the hard way lol.
  21. We need to find the right balance in midfield now Vincent is out, clearly the replacements and position changes at St J didnt perform well. Where Ross, & Doran play and who comes in whether Watkins, Greenhalgh or Toby will be key. Also need Raven back fit and if he is out then Devine is not the best player for the RB position. I see Partick game as highly winnable due to being at home and their lack of goals - so we need to treat this game as a way to get the line-up and formation correct with early substitutions if required before we go away to County and then have the biggest game of the season so far in the cup.
  22. Does the World Cup need to happen, judging by the press and those associated with English football I thought they had already won it. Fantastic footballing nation with world class players that every team would fear to play - apparently.

  24. Deano could be worth a shot can't be worse than some attempts lol. Probably be foran or shinnie for the next one.
  25. Watkins or we move Doran into that role and play Greenhalgh out wide. Polworth needs more SPL experience before getting starts IMO, we need to make changes earlier than the last 10 mins of games, so guys like him & others can get a good 20-25 mins run out and adapt to the pace and physicality of the games.
