  1. Paid 7.5K for longstaff hernia op with no Aron dorran issues. That was news to me. well done that man.
  2. Wonder where this will leave Keith bray? Dunfermline Athletic have sacked head coach Michael Tidser after 60 days and 11 matches in charge.
  3. we can’t keep harping on about the past. Yesterday was a chance to go 8 points clear of Annan with 7 games remaining. We should be cruising to the end of the season and safety.
  4. Oh dear, how did we lose that. Annan TV and not much Annan footage.
  5. Annan take on today’s game. Once again an opposition manager complimenting us, even on a day most on here thought we were poor.
  6. Tuesday night was 2 teams going toe to toe allowing space to play in. Today, once they scored and with us being too slow in possession, they got eleven behind the ball and were hard to break down. Need pace for that sort of game which we don’t have. our finishing was poor today and the pick of the bunch was billy , centre of goal, 8 yards out, goalkeeper no where to be seen and only a defender on the line, billy hit him with his shot. Not so long ago he would have slotted home with aplomb.
  7. I was on ok this morning and tried to add a you tube about musa. wondering if I caused the problem but was going to blame big cherly anyway.
  8. Here’s him after the cove game where we were 1 down and facing a penalty. Game over, but the big man saves it and we go on to win 1-2.
  9. Looks like it.
  10. I had 10 days in Tenerife, daily24 degrees. Got home midnight last night and been so cold today didn’t attempt the golf. Had the full winter gear on tonight but the decent game meant I didn’t think about the cold until the last 20 mins. scored good goals, played some good stuff and although Devine and savage were struggling in the air against their big centre forward we were well worth our 4-1 win. First look at brannan and was the pick for me, great strike for his goal, got up and down the park, crunches into tackles and has a throw in that reaches the penalty spot. Best right back since Shaun Rooney, but then he was a galloper going forward and not much of a defender. Gilmore was behind him, steady Eddie can take the ball in in any situation, never flustered. bray scored a “chest in” from about 2 inches after a great cut back from Mackinnon I think. 4th goal was the pick of the 4 after a nice flick from McKay. grandson who is 9 said he has never seen us score 4 goal’s before.
  11. Both teams out for a warm up in their pre match kit.????? 8 minutes late already
  12. Will the game go on. Announcement for a qualified referee or linesman for tonight's game
  13. At least he is a local boy, if you don't count crystal Palace or america. Its been said on here before it was time to start trawling the highland league again. Another knock to our academy boys looking for a contract though. Forres Mechanics FC are delighted to announce the signing of 25-year old midfielder Jordan Alonge from Rothes FC on a 2-year deal – subject to SFA approval. Jordan began his footballing career in the academy at Crystal Palace, before earning a scholarship in the U.S. where he played at the highest level in the NCAA division 1. Jordan has impressed in his short time with Rothes, and we couldn’t be happier to have added him to our squad.
  14. Who did he play for. sorry couldn’t resist it. bit windy in Tenerife so left the pool and headed to the pub for a couple of hours. bavidge scores 90 plus 3, gets booked 90 plus 4. Hope he isn’t clocking up the booking points. great result, well done guys. Quick shower, dinner, then off to the temple bar, Costa Adeje for some more of the amber nectar. hopefully I won’t post later on as it will be a load of p1sh I will be talking. Get in their first, I know I talk it most of the time.
  15. Yes, topping up the tan before Turkey in July.
  16. The source was bbc online sport Scottish football gossip, accredited to the Scottish Sun. talking about Sun, sunny in Tenerife today but I will Duck out of the Mallard jibe
  17. Ok, ta. I have not read much on here while I am in cloudy Tenerife.
  18. is this a bit worrying………… Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who received a 15-point deduction in Scottish League 1 earlier this season, face losing 75% of their playing squad if they fail to come out of administration by the end of the campaign. (apologies if posted elsewhere)
  19. The rangers CEO Patrick Stewart trying to get them “ To boldly go where no man has gone before ”. Time to beam him up, in fact Scotty you are just the man to do it. But then, can you change the law of physics.
  20. No replays of action, you have to rewind yerself.
  21. I never think of yesterday. Can't do anything about it. Lee Trevino

Bottle of beer and a curry in front of the telly in the warmth for a change. You can tell I am suffering today from no footie syndrome.
  23. James if you have started your journey and will still be in Inverness tonight you are unlucky the game is off and also that 12 miles north of Inverness is Dingwall home of Ross county who play in the Scottish premiership but they are away to Motherwell. there is another game on in Inverness on Saturday clachnacudden v Huntley in the highland league a few minutes walk from the town centre. You will meet some interesting people there and see a game of grass roots footie. if your luck changes it may be called off also.
