  1. Fecks sake, since when did you start getting choosy where the word FREE is concerned! Eh'll just no bather tellin ya in future, meh feelins are hurt :(
  2. On ESPN this weekend Fri-Sunday........ ESPN free weekend
  3. Well done ICT , great result :D
  4. Yer spot on iamthecaptain1, i'd agree over the piece both league games against ICT a draw was a fair result and we should have been buried in the cup final, but i've seen several games this season where the opposition played better football, County in Dingwall and Partick at Dens stand out,but we came away with full points, unlike previous seasons where we could outplay the likes of Saint J and Accies in most games and too often draw but dropping far to many points to be in contention when the chips were down.Everyone i spoke to about yesterday would have taken a point with 15 mins to go,but the spirit in the team is terrific this season and they are desperate to win(Alba final being the major turning point) long may it continue. Good luck against Motherwell the night,I'll have my ICT head on for the evening
  5. The phrase "ya can't polish a turd" springs to mind,Jocky's no everybodies idea of a good manager but his teams will always be very hard to beat, was treated very badly at Dens last time round with the Marrs Bonnetti era seeing him out the door as we were in our highest SPL position, hopefully he can see the job through this time. Caley 100, while ya never say never LG is on a 3 year contract at Dens so it would take some offer to shift him.
  6. As you lads wid say "I BELIEEEEEVE " massive 3 points today, mate just phoned fae Dens, played great first half but weren't at the races 2nd half, got pulverised fae Dunfermline, 1 Griffiths attempt and his goal but eh'll take winning ugly till the end of the season Johnboy, Jocky is i believe, the first mamager to have won all cups in Scotland! Scottish,League and Alba :(
  7. I'll tell ya at Fehv o clock tonight :003: hopin Airdrie wiz just a blip :cdn-flag:
  8. (code) I realy wear them a lot along with my platform boots and cheesecloth shirts. Apologies to the OP. this has now gone O/T and needs moving to general nonsense :cdn-flag:
  9. Should get together and practice this as a routine ............... Ultras sooooperb
  10. It's not the punishment but the inconsistancy of the "make it up as we go along" SFA that concerns me.Pretty harsh punishment and consequences for what was obviously an administrative error with no gain from the player coming on,compared with other clubs blatantly cheating and playing players signed as consultants resulting in paltry fines for the club concerned ( not that i'm bitter) About time clear and concise rules and resultant punishments for breach were introduced so clubs know where they stand.
  11. Were you reffing the gemme on Boxing day? :P
  12. Their on their way..........
  13. Eh'v had enough oh ah this snow, was meant to be back working this week, but suppliers cannae get any gear up the road, cannae get access to folks hooses and drevhin aboot the towns a nightmare, feck it,ehm going back on the drink till the weekend, let me know when the snows cleared awa eh?
  14. Sair ain the day, disnae sound like we were at the races, deffo missed Harkins due to his sending aff last week, great effort from club and fans to get the game on,but Airdrie were obviously up for it and the game hinged on the 2 penalties and Mackenzie getting sent aff :025: . Cup day aff next Saturday, then back to business.
  15. Was reminiscing wi Grassa and Brian Fraser as we shovled several tons of sna fae the park last Sat about the Nairn County V Dundee Scottish cup gemme which they both played in.Brians excuse for the pumping was the pitch was rock hard and the Nairn lads had normal studs but the Dee's had rubber dimples on their boots. Great day oot,i was at RAF Alness at the time and got freebie tickets from Bobby Geddes who came fae Invergordon.Sna and ice didnae stop gemmes in them days!
  16. But the thing is Alex, just cos the gemme was called off,the folk who would have gone don't just sit in the house, they go out and about and do different things, whether it's taking the dog for a walk, going to the sales or visiting Granny and the travel implications and risks are exactly the same.It could be argued the Police would have an easier time controlling a crowd within a designated area and knowing in the main the routes to be used to get there.
  17. I reckon i've come round to skifreaks way of thinking,I intended going along today, but as it was off ended up taking wee heilan and his mate down to Reillys, same dodgy roads, same conditions, staff there had to get in etc, sure there would be folk out in dodgy conditions but the end of the day we're all adults and can make decisions based on info given.
  18. Or just perhaps it may be that people need food from Tesco to survive whilst football...........? :002: So where do you draw the line? Cinemas, Eden Court, Non food retail? Fair point, problem is, if the police advise not to travel unless essential, people have their own definition of "essential" If a football club is advised thier access is unsafe a person will be accountable for deciding not to take that advice and therefore become liable from any resulting problems.Would you be prepared to take the reponsibility in this day and age?
  19. Sticking point seems to be his agent getting greedy :( hope it's sorted but Jocky's doin the right thing telling him to GTF Agent wants 20G
  20. I'm sure there are plenty who cant help out for various reasons, but those who could, but just cant be ersed, should have a wee look at the definition of supporter, but dont worry cos someone else will do it eh? JB, i'm sure CaleyD's sense of humour is as good as the next man,but constant sniping without some constructive input must wear thin for these lads trying to motivate folk who are quick to talk the talk but not so quick to walk the walk.
  21. Nice to see a modicum of common sense still prevails at SFL HQ and they have allowed this weeks game to be moved from Airdries ground which would deffo not have gone ahead and played at Dens on Sunday
  22. Really enjoyed todays game, bit of a reversal of the cup final with us dominating the first half and I still felt comfortable till a nightmare mistake gave you's the momentum ,was glad to get out with a point at the final whistle, although Leigh Griffiths would have nicked it on another day near the end.Good luck on the 2nd, reckon i might come along to support ICT, hangover permitting.
  23. So long as there's enough bods out on Saturday morning at 8 am,to clear the snow, i,m reliably informed the game WILL go ahead. See some of ya's down there?
  24. Heard it's a done deal and will be anounced tomorrow, fairly happy with Levein, reckon he's as good as we could expect to take the poisened chalice that is the Scotland job and as JB says, probly in a much wider role than just team manager. It also has the added bonus of really pissin off oor Tangerine neebors ;)
  25. I'd settle for a draw in this game, but a smash and grab win as per Dingwall earlier in the month would be nice.Hopefully you will see a differant Dundee team to the one at Dens earlier in the year, the team spirit and attitude since the cup final has been brilliant.Win, lose or draw,I think most are correct in ICT are too far back to challenge for promotion now and whilst i dont think we will run away with the league, the main challenge will still come from Partick with QOTS and Coonty taking points off most teams especially in Dumfries and Dingwall. Anyway folks, have a great Christmas and see ya's doon the Longman on Boxing day provided Tommy can get the pitch playable
