Think your mebbe's being a wee bit naive their BornCaley,maybe your moniker explains much of that but ICT have grown rapidly in a relatively short time as Inverness has experianced rapid growth and many incomers with strong loyalties to their home team are comman place at TCS.I regularly followed ICT and Dundee (I know their not SPL currently!) and know many more with similar split loyalties be it Hib/Hearts /Aberdeen even Yenited :o and of course many pre merger lads who chose one or other OF and still harbour feelings for them.It takes many years and several generations to build a loyal hard core fan base

Anyways,eh huv a feeling in meh water we'll be playin each other next season one way or the other,here's hopin it's coz we have a miracle revival under Jocky and no coz a certain arab taks you lads doon a league.For what it's worth eh dinnae think Robbo's the answer to yer probs either but at least the supporters trust are being proactive and taking action before a serious problem becomes a crisis. Shocking thread,i can't believe what football has come to. I haven't been to TCS this season,due in the main to an incident last season against St Mirren when ICT came back from 2 down to win 3-2 and a young and exuberant lad jumped the wall and was dragged out of the ground with his feet literally not touching the ground by heavy handed polis who went on to charge him.I remonstrated with them post match but they justified their actions as the match commander had instructed any one going onto the field should be arrested and charged.When folk like CaleyD and Mantis are scunnered it really is time for the club to sit up and take notice or i fear for the future of ICT and football in general.I personnally have had enough of being treated like a criminal purely for supporting my team( be it Dee or ICT) and wont be back in the forseeable future if at all.

That really annoys me when people say its dieing, not because im one of those people that will do anything to stick up for the language because its a load of bull. Don't get me wrong I'm proud of it and glad to speak it though. It may have been dieing at one point but not now, if anything its getting stronger with BBC Alba, the gaelic school in Glasgow and the increase of people choosing it as a subject at school. The only reason it can be percieved as no longer dying is because of the hugely expensive life support machine that's been put in place to keep it alive. P.S. nice wee film,but i reckon the road sign for Heasta and Heaste highlights the nonsense of double langauge road signing

I was thinking the same thing the other night when i heard about this "Help for heroes" single on X factor,great idea BUT,why is it neccesary? The governments treatment and support of wounded and invalided troops in this country is appalling.

While David Murray has now come out and apologised for his statement and saying he was taken "out of context" the fact is, the interview was "in the context " of discussing bigotry and sectarianism in Glasgow.To qaulify this with:- ?I was amazed to see what goes on between Dundee United and Dundee on the websites. In some of these websites it?s just as bad as Rangers and Celtic but because it?s not the west of Scotland it doesn?t get the same reviewing.? he can't really complain of being taken out of context. The Times reprters qoute in the article reads "Murray said Dundee and Dundee United were examples of clubs whose fans trade sectarian abuse on websites which is never mentioned in the media". It's fairly obvious that he was trying once again to deflect attention away from his own front door but whilst there's plenty rivalry between the Dundee teams and at times some unofficial websites discussions can get heated (as can discussions on all websites) it's always kept in check with many from both sides in the same families and never ANY undertones of Sectarianism between the two.
