Eh once knocked back Bo Derek!! no long after she'd made 10,Honest. It was in Florida Disneyland and she was their with hubby John,her security guys saw a group of us visiting RAF bods and asked if we'd like our pictures taken with Bo,but i replied "no thanks we're awa for a pint"! Don't know if her ego ever recovered.

Always enjoyed the early Chas and Dave and their raw energetic classics such as "Rabbit Rabbit" and "Got my beer in the sideboard here" which reflected their cockney routes and in many ways engendered a generation with the gritty realism in the lyrics,latterly i felt they deserted their origins moving onto the more melodic and less hard hitting songs such as "aint no pleasing you" in search of record sales but deserting their working class origins in pursuit of record sales and catering to the marketing people.A sell out if ever their was one! Much can be forgiven however, for the everlasting lyrical brilliance of Snooker Loopy which must surely go down as a classic of our times.

That said, next week Livvy will now be scrapping at home against Accies after getting dragged back into relegation playoff contention by Clyde. Stirling at home for us next week,if we dont win, then we certainly don't deserve anything.Our hard one will be QOS at Palmerston,if we can get 3 points there,the last day game at home will be mouthwatering.7 wins out of our last 9 is good stuff,especially considering where we were 2 seasons ago,Heres hoping Accies drop a couple of points somewhere in the next 2 games then .......Bring on the last day V Accies .One game winner takes all!!! :crazy07:
