  8. Laurence my post was indeed political but I did say in Scotland and nothing to do with the UK government. I will give the Tory party credit for upgrading the A9 in the seventies but that upgrade was long overdue!
  9. I wonder what the predicted opening date would be for these roads would be if the others were in power, the end of the century if we are lucky
  10. Yes Kingsmills and the other parties that were in power in Scotland before the SNP that did nothing!
  11. Thanks to the SNP I get my free prescriptions and now have my bus pass since last year, I will be heading down to the shops tomorrow for a few things on the bus which saves taking the car to the old town. I was also glad to get my daughter through university without having to pay a fortune and she now has a successful career.
  12. I agree as I don't think there will be many others after tickets for this one on a Tuesday night.
  13. Both shows are a must for me I missed them both on Saturday so got the first on listen again last night and will get the other tonight.
  14. There is worse to come SCOTLAND Secretary David Mundell is under pressure after it emerged that the interim chief executive of failed construction giant Carillion is one of his top advisers. Keith Cochrane CBE, who sat on Carillion's “business integrity” and audit committees before taking temporary charge of the the firm last year, is also the lead non-executive director at the Scotland Office. The businessman, who spoke out against independence during the referendum, sits on a joint board with Mundell that considers constitutional issues like Brexit.
