I really didn't buy the Roberts injury excuse of late but hey ho what a performance and win. Now that we're mathematically safe how about we get most of the current squad signed for next season at least?
-
.................of Brora Rangers?!
-
Well it was good to see him back in the squad. I noticed after that reception and the half time warm up he didn't get to warm up again. Was Yogi worried he was getting too much affection from the fans?
-
Disgraceful they way this has turned out. Just over a year ago his injury before the Cup Final was seen by Hughes as a major blow to our prospects of winning it. I'd bet on him signing for County, which would be an even bigger blow to us.
-
To be frank there were many periods of Tuesday's game when I thought both teams could have been done for fraud, for masquerading as footballers.
-
I think I can count on one hand or even two fingers the number of times this season we have put in a good display of old fashioned attacking football at home. Both games were probably against Aberdeen as well. We were absolutely woeful in going forward tonight. Once again we ended up with no strikers on the park at the end. Mutumbo the one who looked most likely to create something was also hooked at half time for Vincent, a player who can't wait to leave. This approach cannot continue especially for home games. It is so poor to watch and will see our attendances fall even further. All I can say is thank goodness the outdoor bowling season starts this weekend.
-
Win tonight and then v Killie and we will have no play-off worries. What an incentive all round. We can then assess who is good enough to win a new contract and be with us in the Premier League next season.
-
Danny MacDonald now back in charge I hear. Not a Yogi appointment though? Who's in charge these days?
-
Yes you're right there. Setting aside the first 20 minutes of Friday's game the Jambos seemed to show no ill effects versus the Sheep. Also hope we can turn them over on Tuesday to put us 10 points clear of Killie.
-
Good win. Keep this form going and no worries about play off games. Where was Jordan Roberts today?

Losing late goals and points along with Hughes's very late or too late substitutions have been a real bug-bear of mine this season. If we had been comfortable in 4th spot on 48 points, stayed there and Celtic win both the League and Cup then we would be heading to Europe again.
-
Ach well, sh*t happens! Means we now don't play that game until the post sh*t (I mean split) of the Premier.
-
Is it a coincidence that since Brian Rice joined up with Yogi our run of results has been the poorest since 2009?
-
Another smash and grab from a team that we dominated and gifted goals to. Same story on numerous occasions this season. Can't blame injuries for Hughes's mystifying substiututions either. What has Jordan Roberts done to deserve being kept on the bench? Two must win games next to avoid gettting sucked into the playoffs. Get it sorted guys or we're well and truly flecked!

Fon Williams Raven Meekings Warren Tremarco Polworth Draper D Williams Storey Foran Roberts Subs: Esson, Devine, Horner, Hughes, Vigurs, Mutumbo & Wedderburn

Alex Fisher? Any word of his return from injury?
-
Certainly not the same line up as Wednesday and please not Liam Hughes up front. We definitely need Roberts and Storey in there plus Richie Foran (to make County look sh#te). I for one will not be going as I've been tortured too much by our performances in the last 4 weeks. Also I don't want insult added to injury by being made to stay in the ground until C####y have paraded the diddy cup.
-
He looks more like a darts player than a footballer. I can't believe he merited a start ahead of Storey and Roberts tonight.

I agree with most of above, most of all the poor team selection. However, the Hobos are not that good, we just made them look that way with our defensive errors. Stokes must've thought it was Christmas all over again. They also cheated us with the antics of Oxley after the miss by Liam Hughes. That took the sting out of the momentum we had at the time. If the ref had any balls Oxley should've got a second yellow card. I now fear a drubbing in Dungwall on Saturday and a plunge into the play off place. We had a chance to re-start our season tonight and blew it big style.

Is it pay at the gate tonight? £15 entry for adults? Not much hype all round about this tie.
-
Yes we were absolutely shocking today and allowed Hamilton to bully and cheat us, aided by Steven MacLean. Perhaps if we had Storey and Foran on at half time the result might have been so different. I can't understand why Roberts was hooked as he looked the most likely to score if given the ball in the box. Liam Hughes was pants as was Vigurs (again) with Polworth just behind them in poor displays. I thought Wedderburn did okay but I'd have preferred him in midfield and Draper in defence. Okay, so we are making things so difficult for ourselves but win the next three games and our season can be salvaged. Lose them and I fear it will be well and truly over. So come on guys get a feckn grip and get back on track!

Proper highlights they are too, and I could view them from Rome. Shows how poor the BBC are.

I'm in Rome for the rugby but kept trying to get updates from Dens with no success. Went from ecstasy in Stadio Olimpico to big disappointment when I eventually got the result from Dens. Still, 3 points on Tuesday at Tynie and we're back in the Top 6.

What a useless shower of tossers the SFA have proven to be again. Fixture arrangements made too late for me to make arrangements to book accommodation and transport at affordable rates. I had also hoped to do the good son bit on Mother's Day and take my Edinburgh residng mum out to lunch on the Sunday but given the KO time that wouldn't fit either. So that's flowers on line again, stay at home and watch the game on the tv and save my other cash for the semi against the Arabs in Perth. I feel another call to the Club to make a formal complaint to the SFA is justified.
