  1. Not an easy start - however i dont think there will be any 'easy' games. Mini bus for Pars game for sure!!! And... not a sunday, 12.30, or 2pm kick off anywhere to be seen.
  2. Three points at home will be very welcome... nice to see a win for a change.
  3. Like a Dundee supporter eh?
  4. Aye.. for sure, that beard is a wee bit more grey and the joggers are getting tight!! :D
  5. 33 and plagued by injuries, krap for Midden last season... feckin hope he doesn't turn up here.
  6. And i see we have been installed as joint favorites to win the first div. with Dundee, that will no doubt increase the crowds!!!!! Its been a while since we we made favorites to win anything eh?
  7. I think he's waiting for big Tel to come back from holiday to have a chat, likewise other players may well be stalling too. See Grassa has two english based players lined up, just waiting to hear back, one is a loan the other a signing, midfielders apparently.
  8. :clapping03: :clapping03: Aye...very good Charles.... errrr have you been smoking the kak again?
  9. Fair observations Scotty, It occurs to me that there is indeed a bit of a thorny fence between the board and the fans which probably went further downhill after the trust meeting/ protests against Brewster. DFS did not do the board any favours with his comments about DJS and the fans, and i'd agree that the relationship is strained at the moment and bringing it 'back' will need a fair bit of work. I find it a wee bit sad that there is a barrier between the sections as in the current climate we need to be working together a bit more.
  10. Jeez... how long would Imrie last out there?

    Cis Cup

Yes, now get up to this one and break your duck. Errr... i'd rather he stayed away.
  12. Maybe you didnt give it much thought in recent seasons but Counmty do this signing thing every year.... dont help much though.

    Cis Cup

We have had our share of cup shocks.. hope the management take things seriously. When does the league games start then.. 8th aug?
  14. Aye.. and Brewster is well qualified to get the best out of 'talent' Vigurs and Wodd unfortunatley are now the enemy, and as such will get treatment if they play for county against us. Neither were great players for us and i'm sure the club will secure the services of better players.
  15. IF... you could ask Terry Butcher 2 questions what would they be? I'll go first since its my idea.. Why did you continue to play Rossco at centre defence when we had Majics / and for the last game why play majics at right back and Rossco in the centre-a move which ultimatley cost us the game. Why was Imrie not subbed in the Falkirk game when is was so obvious he was not interested?
  16. I think we have been playing at being an SPL side for a while, never mind a poor attempt at a club shop. Pity we didnt have a builder tyoe as an owner to build us a proper club shop.
  17. Aye.. i can see you sitting smoking a morais with the crevat and smoking jacket on
  18. You reaaly shouldnt expect players like Morais & Foran to play in the frst div for first div wages, They are certainly good enough to fit into any team in the lower 6 of the SPL. Odihambo and Kerr are maybe not quite in the same league, but will no doubt get SPL wages somewhere else, this is the time for big Tel to get his own team sorted out, and not patching up someone elses f*ckup.
  19. Had Brewster been given time he would have got these players playing and one of the above 3 teams would have been playing Division 1 football next season, not ICT. Completely deluded...
  20. So, you're blaming the squad and not Brewster? Knock knock...anybody home? The manager makes the squad.
  21. To say there are far more inferior squads in the SPL is laughable, for the first 5 1/2 months of our campaign we were the weakest squad - by far, couldnt score and couldnt defend - thats why we were bottom, didnt you notice? Brewster proved he was tactically inept at Utd and got the chance to prove again here. The board just didnt want to see that, he was the easy option and it backfired, i would liked to have seen Brew prove everybody wrong but i had this underlying fear that we were doomed. I'm glad he's gone and there was never a chance in hell brew would have kept us up.
  22. More than welcome guys, being pre-season, and the weather should be fine, whats an away support for Montrose these days? the away end holds 2700.
  23. Cant see Foran staying either, it was bound to happen that 'bigger' teams in the SPL will be skimming of the cream of the relegted club, it would have happened to Falkirk if our players had done a better job. Its now time for Butch to build a team of his making, then we will see whats what. Another thing that came to my mind is that our team has a core of players who have been here for years! its quite obvious that a clearout was going to be needed, whether we stayed up or not.
  24. Bobby Mann... Now there's meat in boots!!!1
