  1. If anyone see's a bloke in the Innes friday night, with a bag on his head, its thebag4thejob... sorry themann4thejob, having a wee problem with coldsores i hear. Feckin shame :016:
  2. Gerx, dont ever remember any mention of a restaurant at the La Scala, maybe some of the older posters might know. We were neighbours of Mr Nairn in Glenburn Drive, when we were kids we often got 'comp' tickets from him much to the envy of pals, we would fight to take his wee dog out for a walk in the woods, often 4 or 5 of us shared a lead which left Jim and his wife in hysterics. I also seem to remember him filming us playing 6 aside football in the park at Glenburn drive, wonder if that film still exists? My mate Colin Morrison served his time as a projectionist with the La Scala, he would sometmes sneak me in to the projection room to watch the movies, also helped him during the reel changes. Those were the days when smoking was permitted in the cinema, as the film went on the smoke highlighted in the light beams used to get thicker and thicker, passive smoking on a big scale or what.
  3. Mallister was playing eh.... still no goals... :007:
  4. We seemed to have been talking about Rory like this last season, now we are saying the same things all over again. Will he make it? in my mind... no, if he proves me wrong, fair enough but i cant see it. Quite a few posters have been suggesting signing an experienced centre forward, this after seeing Denzil and Rory perform recently, this might be a good idea.
  5. Looked a pretty strong team out to me... after seeing the Elgin game i'm not all that surprised as we were not that sharp then. Lets hope it is pre-season game syndrome.
  6. Oooooo, controversial choises Manny.... you on the vinegar?
  7. And be extra vigilant with the ladyboys... always ask for proof.
  8. I have been reported as looking 40 ish, much younger looking than my mate TMFTJ. :016:
  9. 'osteitis pubis' Sounds a painful thing, hope he recovers quickly, but with Caff we have good cover. Lackofusis pubis is another disease with affects males over the age of 45 who have been injured in some way in gyms, whilst pretending to females they are younger/fitter than they actually are.
  10. Pity we never saw the new strips, will we see them on show at Rossco's Testimonial ?
  11. You just keep yer eyes on the squirrels....
  12. Hellgin came close last night, but we could see some goals next friday going by the normal testimonial type affair. You up next weekend?
  13. Not a bad summary Ross, couple of points from my point of view: thought Dods was out of touch, Johnston beat him to almost every ball. Wyness tried but it didnt work. Golly..mmmm, and Donkey Hastings is not the answer, slow and turns like the QE2. Hart gave us another option with his driving runs. Mcbain did pretty well i thought-better than Keogh. Mcallister - headless chicken. Dargo-very busy, and will get the goals again in my mind. Overall, a quiet performance, nothing to get excited about bar Blacks superb goal, and Barrys volleys which were saved by the best player in Elgins team, No sign of any new faces though!
  14. That would surely draw the crowds! Which makes me wonder, taking out the Livvy spell etc, how long has Barry been with ICT?
  15. Just have to nail him down in the Heathmount next time he's up Alan!!! - which wil be 29th
  16. Gettin the feeling that you dont like Livvy Mantis? :notworthy01: respect ha ha
  17. The shows, aye what great times were had at the bught, spewing in the waltzers - all because the fanny spun us faster when we screamed slower! Smelling the candy floss and the toffee apples, the chips, all this as you walked throught the islands, the music getting louder and louder. Best memory was as a ten year old, having spent me ten bob, kicked a fag packet and found a FIVER, what joy, and then feeling a bit guilty later on when down to the last half crown. Also remember being a wee bit wary of the 'showy' people, they all seemed to have that weathered, dark skinned ***** look, probably because they were eh!
  18. All very well Scotty, but what benefits ICT from this move? Sounds like a Profile boost for DS. This is a charitable sporting body which all of a sudden has become the mjor shareholder in ICT, so it has not got football as its sole purpose if he says it will benefit all sports, albeit locally. If he has other sports to help in mind, why set it up with ICT shares? Is this to distance Tullochs from ICT? - cant think it is mind you, the name is all over our stadium!
  19. Errr.. What the feck is Inverenss sports trust? it sounds like a very diluted sports set up as far as we are concerned, what is the point in it? More to this than meets the eye...
  20. ' First ICT, then merely CT, "glamour" friendly against St Mirren prior to our first league season ' I had a quick look amongst my old stuff and found the match program for this match Kingsmills! saddo or what eh! Anyway we got beat 4-0 ? not really sure, Mantis will know probably. A Fiesta would cost you £7995 from Cordiners, and you can now buy one cheaper!
