  1. Really gutted after watching the best performance we have had for a long time. Davis was my MOM, but everybody did so well, the players must wonder what they have to do to win, Shane was unlucky but he needs to sort out his feet/brain comunication. Now... Esson! just saw the goals on Sky sports, and looks to me Ryan was a wee bit at fault for their second and third goals, he seems to lack a wee bit concentration and gets caught flat footed, should Tuffey get a go? If we can keep up this kind of performance i'm sure we will head up the league.
  2. Piermayer is available for saturday, his one game suspension is vs Killie, look for him to start. Meekings looked ok but i heard TB is going to stick with Proc in defence??. i would'nt do that, but i'm not the manager.... Ross and Tansey need dropped, Stick on Hayes and Cox, give some width to the midfield, cant see much change with Foran/Tade likely to start, need a good performance on saturday as the games in nov won't be easy.
  3. Heard City were lucky eh?
  4. Foran has just had two weeks rest during the international break! Its just not happening for him and a few other players just now. The midfield were overrun for the first 45, improved slightly after the break but overall woeful, Tansey/Shinnie/Ross are too similar and were playing out of position, he should have started Chipp to give us an outlet wide and try and get past their defence, didnt happen eh. Piermayer is just a rightfooted Hastings with a similar skill level, hoofs to nobody most of the time, and what was that tackle about 1st min???? Rossco did ok, G Shinnie looked a wee bit nervous to start with and got caught out ball watching a few times, but the main problem is Proc, he is not a central defender, now that Meeking is back will he start alongside Rossco? feckin hope so, mind you having tel putting you into defence seems to the the touch of death for players this season. As said before, having the same 11 start was a mystery, as it obviously didnt work well - why not freshen it up? Anyway i'll be at TCS next week and will arrive full of optimism......
  5. Anyone else having a job getting the highlghts on the BBC website, tried all last night and a minute ago, all i get is a revolving yellow icon....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  6. Cant see Butcher getting the heave unless things go into complete meltdown, we would need all the muirfield groups dosh just to pay him off. It was the same team that beat Midden that started yesterday, was it attitude that was wrong or were the players suffering from the last vestiges of the flu that hit TCS? Someone mentioned in a post about playing for the shirt and thats a valid point, do the players need motivation avery time they start a game? if so then thats a problem, if they cant get themselves up for a positive start we are going to be heading up that little brown creek. Anyway, still think Butcher fecked up pre-season, he delayed getting someone to replace Rooney when we all really knew he was offski daan sarf for more money, Tel obviously does not like Billy Mackay as he surely would have had him on before now, Aldred was another that did not turn into a TB yes man and he got shifted PDQ. Butchers spell with us has been littered with slightly controversial decisions namely putting out teams that suited him personally rather than benefitting the club. I still think he will sort it out, but he needs to play players in positions that they are strongest, Proc aint a central defender, Rossco is getting found out more and more often, we have the basis of a good defence in Piermayer,Esson and G Shinnie, lets build on that. The other issue is scoring goals, we knew Tade was a 100% effort player but couldnt score in a free brothel, give Shane and Mackay a chance and see what we get, it cant get any worse....... can it?
  7. No feckin wine for tel tonight, seems we were pysh again, Jeckyll & Hyde perfomances as usual, with donkey tade unable to even create a chance what will it take to drop him? i also dont think Shane is the answer. Also think the central defence needs sorting out big style, this cant go on much longer using proc there, he did ok against midden because he wasn't put under any pressure. Looks like next week will be a nervy day for us, wonder which team will turn up?
  8. You are indeed, a wonder.... Oh aye... meant to add wonder how yer brain works sometimes!
  9. Nothing will happen till Terry's half time rant i suppose..... at least silly name cilly is off.
  10. I dont doubt for one second that Tade gives his all when playing and that his powerfull running gives defenders nightmares, but dont you think that other managers have been down this route with Gregory and tried to sort out the finishing issues he has? Raith fans highlighted this during the closes season that he would get himself into great postions and feck up the final ball. I would love to see him convert these chances as he looks so happy when scores( apart from last saturday)
  11. Have to say ?250k aint exactly a lot of money from a group of businessmen that hope to get some form of control at ICT. That kind of sum will maybe help us break even, not what i had imagined nor thought it would take this long to organise a piddly sum.
  12. Was it not great to see Caley humping a team in red and black stripes again? Oh aye, if that Tade learns to hit the net he will be worth a million.
  13. Errr...they already have four between them, so I think it's a pretty good bet they will get at least that half dozen. Dont hold yer feckin breath.... ths sitters that Foran/Tade missed tday were feckin scary... Tade is a feckin donkey, all running/effort no finish...... but we were warned before we (terry) signed him were we not? most of scotland knew it but mr butcher didnt obviously read the book. However the 3 points were well worth it, thought Proc/Rossco were brill, Shinnies were good and Davis showed some good work. MOM was between Rossco/Proc/Shinnies .... tricky but rossco shaded it. Great day out apart from weather... typical rain at weekend when temps during week were in the 20's at times!
  14. The drummer needs to get his sticks busy, it must be the best way of starting a shout/song.
  15. Keeping the faith is getting to be tougher and tougher, Terry had glowing reports for Gregory in the radio this morning, claimed he was the best man on the pitch, fair enough Tel, but when are we going to see some goals and some points? To me Tade is like Bayne, gives you everything but little skill and composure - every team has to have players like this, however the teams need someone to convert this pressure into goals. We were fortunate to have Denzil / Dargo to score in those days, now we have no one. As Terry says we are playing fairly well and when it clicks( hopefully) someone will get a doing, here's hoping it saturday!
  16. All very well getting plaudits for playing well, but the stats say we got beat and goal diff dropped again, again chances missed and that is getting to be the old story for us sor far. Big test for ICT is next saturday against a pretty handy midden side, thay seem to be doing what we cant buy - score goals, Wonder when it will sink min to the management that Tade is not a striker and will not score double figures this season.
  17. Have to enlighten me tomorrow.... looks like i hit a sore spot to earn a red one from him eh?
  18. Bit of advice sotonict I wouldn't put your mobile number up on here, ask folk to pm you that way you hopefully won't get targeted by weirdo's I'd steer clear of IHE if I was you as there is always a danger you'll either not get into the ground or get ejected not long after the game starts Get a ticket for the main stand as there are a lot more knowledgeable football fans in there like myself dougal Yeah, Dougal might even give you a sweetie and let you share his blanket!!! and of course also bore you to feck with inane football bullshyte!! Come to the Innes ( funnily enough on Innes street ) meet likeable fans and have a few beers!
  19. I think re-locating to an all use type stadium would be a feckin disaster, ever been to a football match where there is a running track/safety wall between the fans and the pitch? we wonder about the lack of atmosphere at home games well it would be 5 times worse in an open athletics type stadium. I went to a footie match at Meadowbank many years ago and it was so quiet it was scary, probably please the sweetie paper/tartan blanket brigade but as a football experience it would never work. Also the distance from town centre and access over the A9 would be an issue as the police are not all that happy with the fan access over the A9 at present. Nah, stay where we are and maybe develop around the stadium, move the travellers site/salt heap and there is plenty land about.
  20. Agree.. he's settling in very well.
  21. Aye... bet you dont tell him to his face what we called him !!!
  22. a.k.a Rocking horse.
  23. Seemingly Butcher is going to sign an 18 yr old Dutch striker on saturday morning, he's only just left school but he shows great promise, and given 84 games could turn out to be another Rooney.
  24. They probably escaped out of the window to avoid the press! what a feckin joke we are the noo ! Not looking forward to saturday now, cheers Terry....
  25. Cant wait to hear the sh1t excuses tomorrow. Who you going to blame Terry? oh and no feckin wine for you tonight. Be lucky if 3000 turn up on saturday.
