Yeah.. well stay away this saturday Ian....please! no offence mind.
  2. Chippendale left 2 months ago. After tonights showing i'd bin most of them. Dont know what you mean re Ross/Shane? Shane has almost zero ball skills and would struggle to get into County's first team squad! Ross has lost something, mojo??? cos he looks not-interested most of the time, they both have played in various positions and have not been any better imo.
  3. Cast your mind back, when this so called investment was announced, DS was all for welcoming new money and fresh idea's for the club, the sum was £1/4 m from a new group calling themselves Muirfield Mills. Hardly any time goes past and Orion come up with a renewal of sponsorship for the sum of........ £1/4 m Now Muirfield Mills is consigned to bar chat in Dallas or Hong Kong or wherever! did DS use this threat of outside investment to flush more money out of Savage? DS has a stranglehold over ICT is not willing to let anyone else play with his 'toy'
  4. Bingo.... Muirfield Mills will not hand over money till they are offered shares, and as we have not heard, the deal looks none to clever at the moment. Mind you, what the feck do we matter, we are just supporters....
  5. Agree with above posts about Tansey - he was/has been poor, must be a butcher favorite because he always seems to get a start, He would struggle to get a start at county like one of our previous midfielders. We got caught sleeping vs Rangers, dont know what the ICT players expected but by feck we were pyshed on, and i hope they are hurting. Anyway, Tud Jones has to start vs the Arabs, so must Rossco, Gillet is best at LB and thats where we need him, RB - i would give Proc a chance he seems to look better at his preferred position. Tansey needs rest - a long rest.
  6. Good results for us tonight at Parkheid and Movversmell, bottom teams getting beat, Pars 2-0 defeat and hibbees went down 4-3 keeps the pair of them well down on their own. Be very nice to get a wee result on sunday especially if pars lose at Perth, not so worried about hibs as a win for them at Killie would keep us still in touching distance for top 6.
  7. Just wait till they get undersoil heating installed...
  8. Presumably you now have an answer to that question Richard? Just a bit of reverse psychology Charles, he does peruse these pages..... by the law of averages he had to score at least one of these sitters!
  9. Thought Winall might have started, Shane is hardly prolific, Claude seems not to wear accurate shooting boots, Nick 'no goals' Ross starts again.... wonder where the goals are going to come from? hope Jonny is up for it today! c'mon ICT!!!!
  10. Forget all that, just get CaleyD back. he did well last time out, and at least he sounded alive!
  11. Nah, not normally, just a supporter wondering where the club is going, not much to ask!
  12. Heard today Williams will not play, also Mackay injured, Tade and Sutherland were hopeless last week - will they get a start?
  13. Past yer bedtime sonny? Anyway, i meant DS Don not Kenny, KC is doing a good job. What about Muirfield mills though?
  14. Nothing has been heard from Muirfield Mills, or the club for that matter regarding the proposed 6 figure investment for quite a while now, and i have been wondering why! Was all the posturing and so called positive vibes coming from DS just a piece of ' P R ' and did he really encourage new investment? anyway look like the deal is dead and although Orions further sponsorship is welcome it will be used for the day day to day running of the club, not in any way to develop the club from its in reality, poor state. When i say poor state i can see us no further forward than when we first gained promotion to the SPL and returned to Inverness for our home games, the catering is amateur, the shop is an eyesore, the training ground is a rough field next to the sea 14 miles away from the stadium, whilst it is very prudent to live within our means and not to fall into financial meltdown like some other teams surely we need to create a more professional club and try to increase our fan base. The crowd on saturday scraped over 3000 which is the lowest league game crowd i have seen there, fair enough the weather played a part in this, and January is always a tough month for most of us, however the trend is decreasing attendances for us and i'm sure the club have seen this. This season has seen our squad hit by injuries like no other team in the SPL has ever had, long term, short term, recurring injuries its must be so frustrating for the management to plan round this, we will be putting out a pretty makeshift team against Celtic on saturday with Williams not available, Billy Mackay out, Dorran out as well add to this our other players out, Golobart, Shinnie, Hogg, its a crazy situation. It made me wonder if our poor training set up has anything to do with this problem, we train on a pretty rough field at Fort George with no showering or toilet facilities whatsoever, does this cause an extra strain on the players? One would think with our chairman being the main land developer in the highlands he might provide some land slightly nearer the stadium to give the team a more professional training set-up, or is the club in the middle of an ego battle and further investment for ICT is not in the plan?
  15. Most classy player has to be Marius, he was a step above once he got fit. Worst was Fetai - could'nt be ar5ed Cant understand all the votes for Hastings, fair enough he was no bad during his first spell here, but after he came back????? he was shyte. couldnt cross a ball to save himself, nah.... he could'nt tie Gillet's laces.
  16. That must have been the worst first half i've seen for a while, we hardly passed the ball twice before giving it away, thank feck Kenny G had Imrie in his pocket most of the time. What has happened to Tade? jeez he was poor today, unfortunately for us so was Shane so nothing really happened up front for us. Claude looks like he could be a very good signing, sort of a Gregory with skill/Davis on growth hormones! Thought Ryan was unfazed, Rossco gave his all( but gets caught out of position too often) Gillet was brill, Proc did fine but again some lapses in concentration almost cost us. The rest (before subs were introduced) were shyte. How the feck Nicky missed that goal i'll never know! also when tade got wide and put the ball along the 6yd line Nick seemed to watch the ball go past him, even jonny looked like he's signed a pre-contract with xyz. Anyway as clean sheet and another point away from pars! Bring on the Tims.

So... you staying up to watch it live mannie?
  18. Agree with this view, he looks the part and the thought of him and Golobart in the middle of defence certainly makes me happy! Gillet did well yesterday as did Meekings.
  19. caley100 replied to Ten4's topic in Caley Thistle
Hope he stays when Butcher 'trims' his squad.

Pyshing rain at the mo' hope our pitch can stay playable, Hope Hearts foreign brigade dont like the wind & rain up em! Without Golobart the defence picks itself, Gillet looks quite capable in central defence, just hope Rossco sharpens up a bit today.
  21. Yessssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FT and a clear sheet for the first time this season!! well done guys!
  22. 3 -2 hibs... sounds a cracking game.
  23. Ya dancer!!!!!!!! well done big man!!!!!! :clapping:
  24. Sure as feck beats phoning a mate eh????
  25. caley100 replied to AJS's topic in Caley Thistle
True... however neither Cox /Tansey / morrison / Ross look anywhere like filling the gap left by Davis, and thats a worry.
