Rooney in talks with Hibs
Barrowman is a striker who didnt strike, Tade is a midfielder who sometimes scores goals - unlike our midfield.

Rooney in talks with Hibs
Fair enough, but maybe Rooney really wants away to enhance his bank account, going to Hibs would do that, but not in footballing sense - remember Mark Brown going to the tims, no way was ever going to be first choice but he increased his salary fourfold and sat on the bench, Wait till monday - late.

Rooney in talks with Hibs
Well, some fans may consider his actions disloyal, insomuch that he was talking to other clubs and looking to move away, and if that were to fall through and he all all of a sudden proclaimed his future to Inverness some fans might think that he only stayed because he could'nt get a move. Rooney in talks with Hibs
According to Butch, there has been no more offers or contact re Adam. Fair enough, it means he is a free man come June or he can sign the line with us, i would like to thinkl once its clear that he's going no where soon he will get his head down and concentrate on football.

Rory McAllister
I would say Rory threw himself out by poor performances at SPL level, he needed to go and sort himself out. When he was with us Brew sent him to Peterhead for a while and he underachieved there, He also had numerous chances at TCS to prove himself - he has maybe found his level.

ICT -V- Hamilton : Matchday Thread
Possible true, i could'nt believe it when they started talking about a euro place, especially in december!! these kind of comments always come back to bite you, that combined with the loss of Hayes made us a prime target for teams to 'peg us back' not to worry, we will come good again, once the wee man gets back to full fitness and Duncan gets a regular start.

Castle Stuart gets Scottish Open
Great! heard it was in the running but assumed it would go to a central belt GC, Its certainly a wonderful place to play golf.

No end product
A lot of searching questions mannie, not a lot of answers available though - the return of the wee spud might just give us the spark we need to get back on winning ways! One thing that we mentioned yesterday was that we are not getting any wee ' breaks ' or bits of luck, i certainly would like us to be a bit cuter around the box, other teams seem to get away with dives and fouling off the ball. As for players, i agree with you that we lack quality in depth, and thats the managers remit to rectify, will we see any new players in Jan? I dont think Nick will turn into a regular goalscorer - untill he gets a bit of meat on those spindly legs he's never going to beat a keeper from outside the box, and i hope Butch does'nt think about using Shane as a replacement for Rooney. So.. bring on the Dons, we've got Johnny back.

Hayes (Recovery)
Be good to see the wee spud back for the Hamilton game - even as a sub, Prefer so see Russell getting a regular game though, i dont think Cox was firing on all cylinders latterly.

MERGED: Transfer Deadline Day
Not a waste of space for Miller, stays one year and gets ?2.4m, if he sticks he will double the money, will still get Scottish games and champs league, no a bad eh?

Rooney in talks with Hibs
If Adam leaves, i hope Terry has a striker in mind, or would he expect Tade to do that? Shane is a prospect but not a replacement for Rooney, and at the moment we need goals.

Terry Butcher interview
That Doncaster is a condecending pompous ar5e, more or less called Terry's views as a heat of the moment thing and almost laughed it off. Not only that he's quite obviously not taking any heed of fans views in this issue and laughed off the claim that the smaller team chairmen are being bullied into this change. This is a feckin nightmare, what is this guy going to do to scottish football?

10 Team SPL - Confirmed...
Or dream topping... because thats what this plan is... a wet feckin dream that becomes a mess in the cold light of day.

10 Team SPL - Confirmed...
Right, so if its agreed by all SPL clubs, the end of season 11-12 will see 3 clubs relegated and 1 promoted, so i'm assuming that the clubs that will be in the lower half of the SPL will have demanded some huge parachute payment to agree to this. Have to wait and see the details now, although i dont see apart from fewer teams sharing the same pot of money how its going to help football.

Motherwell -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
I forgot to add to my post to say well done to all the singers who never stopped much for the whole game, and maybe someone will correct me but i never heard the home support sing once, one small chant and that was it. Seems the 'what a shitey home support' chant applies to most teams in the SPL the noo.

Motherwell -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Just arrived back in sneck, good night out in Embra last night, as Mantis says once back on the M8 and the heater going well we all agreed that a draw was ok, and that the game was pretty good despite the weather, Spoke to Ryan Esson tonight and he tells me conditions on the pitch were terrible, high, blustery winds lots of rain and the pitch was mostly mud away from the centre part of the pitch. I thought the game was quite entertaining, both teams went out to try and win it which was fair enough, it was always looking like first goal the winner though. Social club was good craic with Dude managing to entertain us much to the heid barmans chagrin. Highlight of the awayday fans day out must have been Johndo's attempt at standing up at half time and almost succeding in a back flip over two rows of seats ( the seats are now ok), stewards were fine, allowed everyone stand for the whole game and never bothered anyone except dewsbury, who was on a one man annoying mission. As for the game, again almost everbody did well, Shane is no bad but not as a right winger, he was read by the left back and his moves became so predictable he was picked off time after time. dont put him there again Terry... please, the boy tried but he's no got the skill to be a winger. Well impressed with Shinnie, after his struggle to contain Humphrey at TCS he read the wingers plays this time very well and only got clear from the youngster once i think. Ross was also impressive as his feet seemed to adapt to running in mud better than the heavier players, Sandshoes and Eric came on late, but to take Russell off and leave Shane on was a feckin mystery! they really didnt get time to warm up and get involved. Oh how i wished for Foran to slip the ball under the keeper, as said above, it would have been the winner, but i've seen Foran have better games - a lot better, never mind its a clean sheet and Ibrox holds no fear for these guys. MOM, mmmm Ross-just, Ryan was good, Russel did a lot of work off the ball spoiling, Shinnie did well but needs to work a big bit on his ball delivery.

Match highlights
I noticed that the last game covered on the official site was the 4-2 win over Hibs on the 20th Nov, no highlights posted since, Is andycam still doing the recording or is he just doing us a favour by not showing the horrible defeats by Midden and Killie?

Cox Injured
Just heard that Lee Cox is out for saturday, possibly out for a couple of weeks, so looks like Russeldinho will slot in beside Duff, if anything the team lines will look better, nothing worse than having Duff Cox in yer team eh? But in reality i'm glad Russell will be back in the team, he seems to read the game better than Cox and has far more experience.
