  1. Whats the point? none of these players are better than we have imo, Gardyne better Jonny? Brittain better than Russell? Vigurs any better than Eric??? leave it out mate.
  2. Aye, but did this appear in the Aberdeen version of the paper? that would have been sweet... and a few choice responses from dons fans.
  3. Well we knew it.... nice to have the pysh & drivel to confirm it!
  4. Le Guen too.... was there not another Midden manager that was heaved after defeat by us?
  5. Will you be able to avoid hearing the score and watch it 'live' though Rory????
  6. R B farquhar also hit the skids last friday, quite a big employer Huntly way i believe. And god knows what effect the Kinloss closure will have on Moray, hope they keep Lossie going.
  7. Nah... just your twisted mind mate, but i wont hold it against you...
  8. Yep, looking at the chances on the BBC website its looks like we had more chances than Motherwell but they got the luck, but in reality they bossed most of the game. I was annoyed when Foran was subbed but Shane and his young fresh legs made the difference for the last 15 mins, so with Hayes quiet and Odi a passenger the supposed 'key' players really let us down, especially as it was a loon from up north that showed them how do do it.
  9. Lets look at this season though, Well have been pretty good since gramps tookover, and yesterday they were better than us. But i cant fathom out why our players have a good game/bad game scenario on the go. The lack of depth in our squad was apparent yesterday, Shinnie was left exposed every time, where was the cover? when Jonny got the ball they had two players on him in a flash, i think the kid will do ok against average players, Humphrey got so much freedom we should have just given him a key to Inverness while he was here.. Just have to wait and see what happens on tuesday.
  10. Yet, for the most part...they have been an average team at best, and one we should be taking points off. But...it goes to show you, that like aberdire, there are certain teams, in ALL leagues, that have teams they historically struggle with! For ex: Us going to the Hunnery, on paper, should be a stroll in the park each time for Rangers, yet, history tells us, for some reason, they struggle against us Dont agree with that me man, Motherwell are 3rd for a reason, by not being 'average' they were a lot better than us yesterday, whether our key players had an off day or did well see what the danger was and sort it. I would say Well were the best team i've seen here this season. But it is a worry that the players dont seem up for the matches at home, and i'm sure Tel is just as mistified.
  11. Yeah.. well done big Tel :werenotworthy: I'm sure he will have the players up for a win to celebrate ... and with the red wine.
  12. I thought he was born in Aberdeen, he's got a hellofan Aberdeen accent...
  13. Very true, feck knows why players hesitate! and.. ass.refs can only advise the ref, not make him change his mind on situations.
  14. Just added my vote, if you want to vote register here: CBfootball You have untill midday today to vote.
  15. Caleystan will be making a home appearance, also gordycheese will make his yearly journey north for a home game, if i can persuade me missus to attend (joke) it will be 4 of us for the Innes for shouting juice then the game!!
  16. The ass.ref looked like he confirmed that he handled the ball, the ref after Gomez collected the ball clearly waved play on, Gomez dithered, the ref then holds out his arms obviously saying whats the problem, Nani see's the chance and bingo. Gomez is at fault.. as above play the whistle.
  17. Pretty crap scores from other games in the SPL, Hamilton are beating Motherwell and Midden are up on Aberdeen, hope those two dont win today, unless of course we manage a couple of goals...
  18. Does he not make thon oven chips?
  19. Yeah, thats brill Kay! trouble is if i win Jonny's shirt how the heck is it going to fit me?
  20. Oh fudge, didn't realise that. There is a 99.9% chance the Scotland game will be on the telly, so may affect attendance somewhat Its not on the same night Scotland v Faroes 16th Nov...............................Legends 23rd Nov Oh sorry about that. Someone said that Scotland was playing that night and I believed them. I still don't think the turn out will be that good tbh. Know a fan who has already decided not to attened the game and I'm sure they'll be a few more. Jeez... better hope ' someone' does'nt tell we are now playing in a green and white hooped strip.. you might go and buy one, this might have been a red dot post.
  21. Indeed, but unlikely to happen based on this interview from earlier this year, in which he said "there would be no point, for example, just moving to the lower end of the First Division" Anyway, Rory is doing a plumbing apprenticeship at the moment, and to give that up for full time football would be something of a wrench. Oh the jokes keep coming and coming...
  22. The experience will be doing him no end of good, thats for sure, he is proving he can score goals but he was punted because he couldnt do the job at that time . I still feel he would struggle against SPL defenders, be interesting to see if Brechin get into the 1st Div how he gets on, maybe county will secure his services in january, they could do with him for sure.
  23. We could not afford to move, there is no business going to buy TCS for enough money to buy land anywhere else. The A96 corridor is prime land for developement as is inshes/A9 sector, and if you think that area is even further away from the city centre than where we are at present, and anyway the location is nothing to do with gome form. Stay where we are.
  24. These electric bikes no have a power connection to charge up the radio Ron? Anyway... great result, we are now starting to get a bit of distance between us and the bottom, with midden getting humped its all the better!
  25. I heard he was training with the under 19's last week and he was back in full training this week, but maybe this game is too soon for him. Seemingly Russell just had a great chance!
