  1. Heard news story this morning that David Sutherland is keen to sell his shares in ICT, Charlie Bannermans story also tells us that there is a third party very interested in taking the 25% shareholding that DFS owns. Sutherland says that any party that takes on the shares must put the football team first. Wonder who the third party is, A Savage? wonder why Sutherland is selling up - cash? Also coming into the frame is that Tulloch still own the two end stands do they not? would the buyer have to pay for them.
  2. I'm not good enough to be a club manager, i can only commect on what i see as a fan/supporter. And what i saw on saturday was a team setup that was not working, we were kind of fortunate for our goal, then we had a breakdown of some kind, Butcher/Malpas must have seen that what was on the pitch was not going to do anything, so why leave it so long to alter our tactics/team?
  3. What were our tactics then? didnt see anything that made me think we had much of a game plan. Shane tried hard but aint a wide creative player, he is best in the middle where his directness would have paid off, too many time he got the ball then turned back and gave the ball back to another player. Team formation / choice was wrong -well wrong.
  4. Really gutted with that performance, we should expect a lot lot more than that rubbish, if we get beat fair enough, but getting beat as we did yesterday was unforgivable. The team was wrong, Shane out wide?? he tried his best but its not his position for sure, Cox always ends up on the wrong side of opposition player and he turns like a double decker bus, Team should have been 4411 not 451 Odi sould have played in the hole just back from Rooney, with Ross ( when is he going to score a goal?) on the right. We just could not create anything after we scored, and the shots we made ended up at the back of section G. It was so obvious that the set up was not getting anywhere,so why did Butch not change it earlier..even half time! giving Odi 9 mins and Blums 2 was just a waste - complete waste. Positives... Esson was brill, his save from the deflection was top drawer, Shinnie did ok, I would like to see Duff back in the middle with Russell with a new right back taking his place there. Hope the feck we turn up for the Killie game or it could be a humping.
  5. That reminds me.. 'bent' Murd used to serve ice cream out of the wee shop at bellfield, never seen a bloke sweat as much as him, by mid afternoon the sweat patches almost met at the buttons of his ex.white shirt, and the pong....
  6. Way home for a suckle kiddo....
  7. All agreed then... we need to sign a right back in January!

  11. Of course.... its Wednesday!!
  12. Is there? why, did he stay in Johnboys guesthouse once upon a time? Why is the OP claiming 'we' and 'our' ? and it also looks like they are blowing away Chelski and City without dirty oil money.
  13. If he cant play, then we should start Dani, with Nick on the right. Injuries are bound to happen at this time of year, especially when the ground is slippy, its also about this time that suspensions start kicking in as well but we just have to get on with it. Here's hoping the inujry to the wee man aint too bad.

    Ouch!

Ouch.. In my youth it was common practice to muck about building sites ( before H &S ) a mate of mine was running through a half built house and stood on a rather long nail sticking out from a plank, nail wnt through baseball boot, through foot and through top of boot, ambulance men cut off most of the plank and wheeched him off to hospital with plank firmly attached to his foot. j
  16. What, like a dead rabbit?
  17. Yes! congratulations to the management & team of ICT, some achievement. Well done the caleyaway day boys.. not hearing much about any wee sesh's that went on in embra? no stories or did ya all go home for horlicks?
  18. I see that Helindee voted for the Arabs game, strange that eh? didnt see him in the crowd.
  19. For me the 2-0 win vs the Dons was well satisfying, the cocky b'stard dons fans before the game were sure they were going to take 3 points back along the A96.

  22. Spoke to a couple of players at tea time and asked if they were heading off tonight or tomorrow, they've been told bus leaves tomorrow morning as club were informed roads would be ok. So.. looks like game on.... wish i was going
  23. Correct.
  24. Ars vs Barca the pick of the bunch, followed by Spurs vs Milan. good draws for the other engerlund teams.
  25. The problem is when we (the fans) see an incident, ala McCulloch dive last week, that is so obviously a dive yet the ref gives a foul, even a rangers fan i spoke to the other day said it looked a dive from where he was sitting in the south stand. The ass. ref had a good view of the fall/stumble/dive yet didnt try to correct the referee. Why anyone would want to be a ref is beyond me, they demand respect, but respect has to be earned not given easily.
