I dont think he is aboslutely dire, but i did think it was a confidence issue at first. If he can get past his man he can get a decent cross in. To be fair anyway, he is just going to be Imrie's benchwarmer. Imrie will always be first team when he is back to match fit...shouldnt be too long as he has a tremendous engine. Eagle's mis-placed pass was to blame for Queens scoring in 32 seconds.
  2. After february 1st against Celtic, that day changed my mind about not wanting Butcher in in the first place and i really stood up for the guy....even relegation day in Falkirk, i still thought he had done all he could. Come October 10th, and the situation we are in now. I really cant stand up for the guy! If we dont WIN the next two games, never mind scrape points, ill be calling for his head. Im sorry, but he really has these next tow games next week to justify him being here. I knew in my heart of hearts we wouldnt get promoted this year, i can honestly say that looks right out the window, but relegation zone? never! no excuse for that and cant help but feel we could be made a laughing stock here! Sort it out next week Terry, and i might still support you. If not, i doubt ill be at another game until something is sorted out.
  3. There are loads up the start of the high street, ill probably head to Bar Itza for a few Bevs before hand, but it is quite the rovers pub. Few more along that street, so not sure what to expect but ill try a few perhaps. First time seein ICT in Kirkcaldy actually!
  4. Ill be there. I think big things will happen if we dont get two WINS on the trot here. But ill be there to see the adventure unfold. Me +1 at the mo.
  5. Are these facts definite though? and are we definitely only being allocated 3,400? Hope this is wrong, for alot of the points already mentioned! Dont see why alot of fans wont be up for this, it is a fair easy trip down the A9, albeit not as easy a trip as the Dee;s down the A90. Hope we get a crowd for this.
  6. I love them both, you dont get much bigger Caley Thistle legends that Barry and Dennis, along with Charlie, Iain etc. They are all up there. Ill be applauding them before and after.....cant help thinking though if Bazza puts in a good performance tomorrow, could he really do a job for us in January? Bring him back to the club he belongs, and get him in a coaching job next year with us! Id like nothing more tbh....considering he still stays in the Highlands, even better!
  7. Well game for this!! Me and a few mates, and a Dee supporter and his mates will all be up!
  8. Im game for it! And will bring as many as....even though most of my mates here support my mates team the Dee's. Still though, crackin day out for us!
  9. Think it was totally unproffesional the fact that the guy elbowed Hayes, then tried to quickly take the throw in with Hayes still on the floor? WHAT? Thats not sportsman at all. Good job we got through. Now lets carry that onto the league!!
  10. To be honest, the ALBA cup was one of the things that i started to look forward to after relegation, aswell as hoping for other good cup runs. Id like to see us win every game, and i dont see why i should be shot down for that. I dont want to sacrifice a cup for a league win, lets do it both, theres no reason why we cant! Queens have a had a good consistent season so far, which is what we need to find! Its been said over and over again, to do well in this league you need CONSISTENCY. We dont have that just now, but i have faith we can turn it around.
  11. It hits the board, but it also hits the players too. Not up for it even though i cant get up to it. Id love to see nothing more than us beat the gypos and get to the final with dundee...apart from see us win the league obviously!! PS. Worst font ever.
  12. Duffs Injured. I say get Duncan in there. He deserves a shot at it, and get Mcbain in so Stratford isnt. Id go with Sanchez and Foran as they paired well against Partick the last time, but with the way Barrowman worked himself on tuesday, id be happy to see him getting a start, at least a good length of time if he is subbed. Looks like he might really want to get it together and work fir the shirt - and quite rightly so! Id hate to think anyone thought there shirt was safe!!
  13. Haha, nice one mann
  14. Nah, you really dont understand me at all, even though you are right in what you are saying. And I expected a gubbing because Motherwell are on an unbeaten streak since the start of the season and are obviously on form AND, well, i was there to witness the absolutely dire performance at Airdrie on saturday. Put these two expectactions together = drubbing. It was NOT because i feel the team are worse than ever. I would not go to games to support them if i thought this! Always have been ICT and always will be.
  15. I know what AF is meaning. I went there last night expecting a humping from a Motherwell team unbeaten this season. We went there and held them to a 2-2 draw over 90 mins, with them playing against 10 men for 20 of those. We went there and got a draw, where we expected to be taken out, so its better than that happening, therefore not a bad result and a good performance to boot. Good to see the highlights.
  16. Seems i am first back that was at the game. What can i say, apart from how many emtions have i went through tonight? I went to the game, in all honest, expecting to be humped by an on-form unbeaten in the season SPL team. This all changed in the first 10 minutes when Caley were always on top and playing some excellent passing. Then Well scored against the run of play, which really sickened me. From there on right up and into the second half Well found their boots. Then Barrowman came on which i was really happy about to be honest, i want to see the boy get a good chance, id always pick him over Rooney from what ive seen....and thats rather alot. For Proctor then to get sent off (who didnt see that coming?), and for Well to go 2-1 up was it for me, but then Granty stepped up and the supporters loved it! I thought that even though Well were up to our goals quite alot, they didnt look the most like scoring to be honest. So i though they have dont that for 110 minutes and scored twice, surely we can hold on? I still think if we had held on, we would hae won on penalties the way Esson is on his game just now! BUT im not too downhearted. The boys put in a shift tonight, Duncan and Stratford unlucky not to score even though they both should have. But its a great performance against a good SPL side, which we were down to 10 men against for a long while!! Well done guys, and im really glad i made the journey through!! A night to remember, for good and bad!!
  17. Would like to see Barrowman play up front with Foran, and bring in McBain and Duncan. Id be happy to give those guys a shot, and hopefully make an impression.
  18. Im sorry for my earlier negative, although not incorrect, words. I have now come to realise i cant pick and choose when to be a caley fan, even after abismal performances like saturday, so being more southern than alot of you and having less of an excuse of not going, im going to fire along. Butcher should have them fired up for this, especially with it being his old club, but more importantly the players need to show they arent as pathetic at football than they played against airdrie. Motherwell are on fire just now albeit some new injury worries, so im not expecting a result, although if the ICT team has some good changes then i dont see why not. Will drag the GF along too, so Me + 1 Oh Inverness. . .
  19. Tell you what, after seeing the players on saturday, this thread isnt too far from the truth. Makes it more evident that we cant touch and pass the ball, goes for alot of players. And Airdrie were quick to close us down.
  20. Unsure to be honest, cant see us winning this one in the slightest. Bit of a rush from work, but if the boys had that extra bit effort on saturday and i knew my journey would be worth seeing a team at least attempt to put a performance in, i would try for it, but this isnt the case. VERY negative speaking i know! Wasnt the last evening game at Fir Park 1-0, 1-1, then we went 2-1, then they equalised late? Thats how i had it in my head. Great game we should have won. John Sutton must have been bitter his brother didnt get our management job. What a worse hole we would be in now!
  21. Also confirmed today on the BBC sport website Burley is looking for a replacement for Pressley, most likely to be Gary Macallastair, as he needs a coach with him in Japan while Burley isn on Inverness club duties. Thank feck!
  22. City have been my 'english team' for a long while before they spent their big money. in fact it actually put me off them after that. BUT, you really got to feel for them today. i watched it at my girlfriends - who are all glory hunting man u supporters, and i am gutted! A draw was a fair result. City first half were brilliant, and Man u second half had the upper hand. Great pass from Giggs for the last goal, but the ref wasnt going to blow until man u scored to win. A JOKE!!
  23. Dont know what that was all about yesterday, but it wasnt good. Good on Johnny Hayes getting the goal, but big big well dont to Esson, who again go us points from a game. I said to my girlfriend before the penalty kick that Esson would save it, thats how much faith i have in this guy. But the more good things he does, the more it gets me falred up he was dropped the end of last season!!! Credit to the Airdrie guys, they really did close down everything we did, then kick the long ball, whereas we tried to get the ball down and pass it, resorting to long balls as a last resort! Ah well, this was a bad week, so the way things go we should have a cracking week next week.....oh wait, i forgot, we are at home next week!!!!!!
  24. Who would have thought it eh, Raith - the newly promoted 1st division side, and County - the worst team in the world (or i wish). This is a long haul league, and basically ive reaslised it really is anyones for the taking. We all know it takes consistency to win this league, so far its Raith and County who have had this. But, although i cant predict the future, im thinking this two teams good runs will come to and end. I dont know why, i just feel that they have had a good run just now, but dont see it lasting. I totally agree with you on one thing though, Dundee are definitely not ones to watch. They spent big, but as i said to alot of friends, this doesnt always mean you win games! And this has totally been the case. Until we sort out our home form, and stop this good week, bad week, good week, bad week, we will probably be sitting where we are come the end of the season.
  25. Thinking about it, but i usualy always do so im finking me + 1
