ICT City Centre Shop
Good, I was forced to buy a hat over the phone this morning after I accidentally cut my hair too short last night. [Tip: when using electric hair clippers, always leave your glasses on until you've checked which guard you're using, otherwise you might use 3mm instead of 3/8"].

Our Prayers Could be Answered
Why would seeing the e-mail make them want to support the referees?

Dallas gone?
According to STV a few minutes ago, Dallas has "left his job". The link on their website is currently dead, so either they haven't put the article up yet, or they've jumped the gun and taken it down again. They now have a full article here, but there's still no other confirmation.

Our Prayers Could be Answered
I'm with the referees most of the way. Dougie McDonald on the other hand, made the correct decision during the game, having made an initial mistake. If he'd reported it as it was I'd still be with him, but lying in the report was inexcusable, and there should be consequences.

As soon as I saw the subject, I somehow guessed who the poster was.

I was just wondering if that's really been growing for 15 days.

Airdrie United
I'm surprised this hasn't appeared already - Airdrie uses Nazi soldiers on their Remembrance programme. From the Sun ... and currently, an apology on Airdrie United FC

same old celtic poppies
I noticed that Celtic didn't wear there hoops yesterday but wore there away strip for some reason , I wonder if it was to appease the green brigade as they didn't want poppies on the hoops ? maybe just maybe they wore their away kit because they were playing away? Why does there always have to be a conspiracy theory with Celtic? Why would they wear their away strip when it in no way clashes with St. Mirrens strip ? Do they wear it at Ibrox or Pittodrie etc. ? The conspiracy theories are always peddled by Celtic not about Celtic Forget what they wear elsewhere. Q. Do they normally wear their away strip at New St Mirren Park (and did they previously at Love Street)? A. Yes.

- Reality Check
At this stage last year (both after 11 games, and after one full round of all opponents) we were in 6th of 10 (top of the bottom). This year we're 6th of 12 (bottom of the top). That's what I'm basing my reality on, and I'm fairly optimistic. I hoped we would win yesterday, and put money on it, but I'm neither surprised nor daunted by the fact that we lost.- Does anyone remember Craig Brewster?

According to The Scotsman we've taken more points at Ibrox than anyone else in the last four years, including our SFL tour year!- Matchday Thread: Rangers -V- I.C.T.
I just tried to find it online, and we're not in their list of SPL teams, but Falkirk are still there.- Stadium Location
Some of what you're saying is simply down to perception, but some is down to big city infrastructure. Bught Park is about 1? miles from the railway station, Longman is slightly further. Tynecastle is only about ? mile from Haymarket, and that's with an LRT (or whatever they are these days) bus passing each way every couple of minutes. As you say, people are heading off in all directions from Tynecastle, which wouldn't be the case from Bught Park. They also have a lot more options for parking, and in general find themselves in no worse a position than Saturday shoppers. As for pedestrians, well, some bottlenecks have become accepted because of their history - that doesn't mean they would be acceptable to create anew. Anyone who doubts the congestion in Gorgie need only leave the Digger's just after the final whistle blows and try walking to Tynecastle.- Team for the 'well
John, we were attack minded from the off today Although I only had radio, that's how it sounded - soak it up, and break at every opportunity. As Caley D said elsewhere, I never felt we were beaten when we went one down, and was forced to question the commentators quite aggressively when they suggested we should be sitting in at 1-1. What I heard was giving me flashbacks to 0-4 at Tannadice. The only time I felt worried was during the series of corners in extra time. I also couldn't help but think that if Levein had been in charge today, we'd have lost.- Matchday Thread: Rangers -V- I.C.T.
BBC (I don't know who) concurred - I had only 810 MW (with lots of background noise) to rely on, but someone on the BBC said he'd only scored because he screwed up and then got lucky.- Reputation Voting
Yes, but I just don't post often enough. BTW - I have NOT put a red dot on this post.- Stadium Location
OK, move the stadium in your mind, because that's the only place it's going to work. The traffic problems that would come with a move to Bught Park don't bear thinking about. The only area that comes to mind with relatively minor infrastructure changes required is around Culduthel. The existing A9 junction would still be worse than Longman, especially after a game. If we/council/government could effect the changes required to roads to accommodate a move, why not put the same effort into providing improved access to the existing site? For example, an extended slip to the A9 (north off/south on only) starting 200 yards north of the Millburn Road/A96 slips, and feeding direcly to a new car park at the south-east of the stadium. You seem determined to change some fundamental things about the club, so why don't we just move 20-odd miles down the road, rename the club to Badenoch and Strathspey Caledonian Thistle Rovers, and while we're at it, play shinty for a change.- Roll call for the Saints of Perth
What about Falkirk? They're in Division 1 playing Partick. Yes, they are, aren't they Mind you, if Strathspey Thistle keep going the way they are... - Reality Check
