  1. 16 team league. A 14 team league is not big enough but 16 will be. If we go for the 14, then within 10 years it will get boring again. 16 teams with two going up and two going down will make the league a whole lot better.
  2. Sanchez is rated slightly too high. I like him but he is NO WAY better than Foran and Hayes.
  3. I will be if i can get off work. Having to work nearly every fecking saturday at 6am these days so im just too fecked when it comes to the 12 o'clock bus from Dornoch.
  4. Good Luck, Darren. Took over after a time when many fans were on the back of Mike Smith, rightly or wrongly.
  5. Need i say anymore? Except maybe this should be in Serious Topics!
  6. Been a right ******* all night. Work rate around the world must have quadrupiled.
  7. I agree with the OP. I thought he played really well and was very unlucky.
  8. Feel sorry for Tuffy. I dont think he could have done much about most of the goals.
  9. A lot of people cant tell the difference between SD and HD, though it is so much finer on HD. Games look great and so does Sky Sports News!
  10. I don't think this is too much for concern. Before the season kicked-off, many people were talking about top 6! That expectation level was far too high. A club our size should always be looking first and foremost to stay in the SPL. If that means 11th, then so be it. Fair enough, 3 losses out of 3 is boring as feck for home fans. But should we really be expecting anything that much better? We all needed being brung back to earth after a FANTASTIC year last year.
  11. I have that album framed on my wall as well as Born in the USA Fairly sad.
  12. Fantastic song. Watched the video of them live at Gastonbury a few years ago and this was craaazy! Brilliant band and when i seen them at the Ironworks, this is what they did best. I think Poke is their best though. A man of my own heart. Cannot beat The Boss at all. Just listened to "Great Expectations" by The Gaslight Anthem who are like a modern day Bruce Springsteen. But right now, im listening to "Spirit in the Night" by the man himself which is from his first ever album. One which is overlooked by many and said to be one of his poorer ones by many fans, though personally i think it is a astounding intodruction for a man that has been at the top of the music industry for almost 40 years.
  13. Brilliant! Can't seeing that being true, but my god. If it was....
  14. Veeeery nice. Must of been hoorna sore to get that done.
  15. Great thread. Enjoying reading it. I joined in April 2009 i think... maybe 2008? Can't remember. I did have an account as Onlyonedougieimrie but i forgot the password.
  16. Most who start the songs in Section G are in their early 20's as are a lot of those who sing at games these days. And that goes for the majority of clubs.
  17. Aint that the truth To say the least
  18. And for the record Andy, you are saying that we are young and will not learn from our mistakes.... Says the one who is acting most like a child on this whole forum by refering to us as "Gumbo" A little growning up is in need and this is coming from someone who has posted some real pish in his time.
  19. That is the main point, Section Gumbo have been fine up until Saturday but they seem to think they can get away with what they want, they can't there are laws to protect people who do not want to listen to the bile they are capable of. They have not learned, even though people have been dragged through the courts, banned for chanting abuse at stewards and removed from the ground for failing to follow the regulations. My suggestion is that section Gumbo stick within the rules, there is a complaint in the system now and I would expect that stewarding of matches would reflect this. As you said earlier concessions were made to section Gumbo so that they could create the atmosphere they want but these concessions, which bend the stadium rules, were not enough for them and they want to push the boundaries as far as possible. Section Gumbo do not run the stadium, they are not the only fans there, everyone else obeys the rules and so should they. There has already been one complaint made due to the attitude of people on here when concerns were raised why would anyone consider speaking up now to have their concerns ridiculed like mine were? No more speaking up here, straight to the club to complain now I think. I think we have all missed the point about you being without sin oh great one. I humbly apologise.
  20. You're up late considering its a school night:thumbdown: Yes, i know. Mummy doesn't know im up. Please don't tell her. I might get grounded. Get a grip. Being racist, ok. Swearing ect? Maybe watching under 7s football is more your style?
  21. Some of the chants were taken too far when looking back. But thats what happens in football. Section G is where the noise is. And unless more join in thats where it will be confined to. Though, to be fair, there was a lot of people joining in at the start of the game!
  22. I wanted to meet someone who was sitting in the mainstand but they wouldnt let me go into the pie bit of the main stand! ******* shocking
  23. Only 18. Considering that and he has been thrown in the deep end, he has done fantastic. Played solid. Not great, but not poor.
  24. I don't mind Imrie. My Granny cleaning for him and he gave her some of his old Caley tops to give to me!
  25. Really looking forward to this. My first game of the season. I think we will just keep with the same team.
