When times ain't good all sorts of things get trotted out, I don't think Zander would make much difference to the team at the moment, but I would most definitely like to see the lad stay with ICT and be given a chance. I'm not a great believer in letting young lads shoulder lots of responsibility, that's up to our more experienced players right now whatever the reasons behind the form of late they have to be professional and step up to the plate for their team We can't be the worse team in the SPL surely.
  7. ***** day all round for me, when/where are we gonna get are next win.

WBA have great goal scoring ability, think you could be right there Kingsmills, cant really say who i would like to see be the eventual winner but i suppose it would be nice to say Rovers were knocked out by the winners.

Cheers guys we had a great night, superb atmosphere i said to my son & daughter that the next goal would win it after half time they got it, i think that they exposed us quite obviously at the back Ishmael Miller was superb and they had that one quality player who tied it all together for them on the park Jonathan Greening, didn't think that 1-5 was a fair reflection of the game but ****, good luck to WBA, now the focus is back to the league both for Bristol Rovers and ICT for me.

Does anyone know what the average weekly wage is at ICT?

What a great result for Pompey, that increases the chance of one of the lesser clubs getting to the final, I hope that Bristol Rovers can do the business tomorrow, getting pretty apprehensive about it now, I am wondering if this is one game to far, time will tell though. Thanks again for the good luck wishes guys, some positive thoughts from up north might just tip the balance.

1 week to go before the big game Bristol Rovers v West Brom 6pm KO next Sunday at the Memorial Stadium Bristol. History in the making if the Gas can do it, first time in their history to get to semi-finals of FA Cup.
  17. PandB we are still in contention, but will need immediate improvement and relying on other teams results. But to be fair not looking to optimistic at the moment.

Yep i would, unfortunately live miles away and have many other commitments if i could sort my life out tomorrow would be up there living and watching week in week out despite supporting Bristol Rovers FC for 35 years/season ticket holder for cant remember how long.
  19. Should have added with a good honest Centre forward who knows where the goal is to feed.
  20. Both fair points indeed, but was Niculae really a good ideal for ICT, busted the wage structure, completely alien to what was already in place(if we were a big enough club to get 3-4 more like him maybe it would work) it all may now be coming home to bite us in the ***. He may have great vision, touch, be able to bring others in to play(alas not quick enough) but has that benefited the team? I think not. Rankin would be more worthwhile for ICT IMHO.
  21. Johnboy when i started reading this one i thought why does'nt Niculae do that, then i read on .....spot on there mate.
  22. Today i have had the chance to speak to a friend of mine who's step dad coaches my sons under 10,s team he knows Michael well played with him at Man utd, says that he has good pace right footed but can cross and strike the ball well with his left foot gets his head down and can deliver a good ball, thinks that he could be a good prospect.

There is little doubt that selling Rankin was a huge managerial error on Brew's part. Barry Wilson - ditto. :029:
  24. A bad day at the office, where do we go from here?
  25. **** is a crises looming
