Pity, I would have preferred him to stay at least until our visit to Tannadice.

QUESTIONS / OBSERVATIONS TO THE BOARD
Kingsmills replied to IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER's topic in Caley Thistle
Football stewards and the excercise of common sense is not a combination often seen. -
A draw was probably a fair result in a fairly uninspiring match. Once more, we were pretty toothless in the final third although both Austin and McKay injected more urgency and seemed to carry more of a threat when they came on. I would be inclined to start with Austin next time out and, assuming we are still in need of a goal midway through the second half, bring young Daniel on at least quarter of an hour earlier.

Disgraceful but no surprise. Pandering to the needs of Celtic and a team who are very fortunate to have been admitted to the league system at all. Both these teams have a big enough advantage as it is with every single semi final and every final being played in their home city without making it as difficult as possible for away fans to travel for ridiculous kick off times on a Sunday. Nothing will change until the personnel running our game are changed for some who are prepared to be less Weegiecentric. No great love for either of them but hoping for a Hearts v Aberdeen final.

If you two gentlemen have a personal or professional dispute can you please message each other privately rather than air it on this public forum.

While Dobbie is, of course, a prolific striker, it would be dangerous and naive to think that by neutralising him we would snuff out Queen's goal threat. Todd and Harkins are both considerable threats as well.

Money indeed which, as far as I am aware, is something that we don't have in great abundance. A very important reason for the club to consult properly and in good faith with legitimate interested parties including the duly elected board of whatever CJT are calling themselves these days. Vital that we get this right.
-
That is, of course, your prorogutive. Perhaps, in the circumstances, you could leave this thread to the many of us who do.

Assuming that County, have at last, learned to count.

...and I speak as someone who hardly rates as Caley D's number one fan ?

Not privy to what went on but very clearly that does not cover it. It strikes me as another example of those representing the club being high handed, arrogant and not fulfilling promises and undertakings made. It's not too late for matters to be resolved but it does need the club to start acting in a reasonable and constructive ways. A club is nothing without it's fans and, right now, the present regime seems to be going a long way towards alienating many of them.

DERBY RETURN MATCH FOR OVERSEAS SUPPORTERS (Ross county)
Kingsmills replied to TRANMERE33's topic in Caley Thistle
Very well done to your son and to you and your wife as well. Ninety percent of the population of Inverness seldom make the short journey to East Longman so fans that do go to such lengths are very much appreciated. -
He indulged in a fair bit of thuggery and mindless indiscipline when with us too. A very capable player but not a particularly pleasant individual once he crosses the white line.

Agreed. By far his best position. Always looks like the Premiership quality player he is when played there.

I think I need to lie down in a dark room for an hour having just rated Willie Collum as 'Good'. However, credit where it's due.
-
Not sure about a drubbing but Fox was in good form and saved County. Says something when the wealthy home team's 'keeper is man of the match.

A new low for me. I don't seem to have managed even 0 points!

Would have need to have been laid down twenty four years ago and wouldn't come cheap.

Not a bad game but both teams lacked a bit of quality and composure in from a of goal. A point away against one of the best resoursed teams in the league, still full of Premiership players, to preserve our increasingly impressive unbeaten league record is a decent result. Great vocal backing from the fans. Doubt County will make half that noise when they fail to fill the South Stand on their return visit to us.

Time to stop making such stupid boasts unless and until we are once more in a position to justify them. We may still be a point above County but that time still remains some way off.

QUESTIONS / OBSERVATIONS TO THE BOARD
Kingsmills replied to IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER's topic in Caley Thistle
Not having the professionalism and common courtesy to at least acknowledge communications from anyone is worrying. Completely ignoring legitimate concerns expressed by the proprietor of the principal fan website and someone who is well known as a fan and backer of the club since it's inception is appalling and needs to be addressed before confidence in the regime can begin to be restored. -

Decent pricing. Will be good to see some of the youngsters on the fringe of the first team. The first team players will meet each other competitively at least four times this season. Let's stick with the youngsters for this one.
