Very true, for every Don Cowie there is an Andrew Barrowman.

Actually agree that both Boyce and Cardle have potential and would improve the squad.
  3. While we are all naughtily getting ahead of ourselves, with last night's results going our way, a win on Saturday will put us eight points clear of the fifth place team giving us a great chance of at least equaling our highest ever league position which may, in itself, be enough for European qualification this season.
  4. How much did you pay ? both payed 10 quid considering I don't earn enough as it is Well done. you paid what you could and a reasonable sum at that. I hope you enjoyed what you saw and that you both are tempted back.
  5. There is no doubt that those of us you were cynical about Yogi's ability have so far been prove wrong and I suspect each and every one of us are delighted to be so. The next big test will be close season when a major squad overhaul appears to be on the cards. How he does with his own players will be the final test. What he has earned, in my view, is a contract extention and at least two full seasons with his own players.
  6. As well as we played last night, Raven and Tansey surely can't be omitted on current form.
  7. I have not been in Inverness for a couple of weeks but I am assuming that the commercial department have the town well leafleted with posters in shop windows and the like broadcasting this initiative. Even in this day and age, there are an awful lot of people who get their information the old fashioned way rather than through social media an the like.
  8. Have amended the title just in case any occasional visitor things it is a reference to this evening's clash with the perth Saints.
  9. Disappointing but since the manager was complaining in the press about January fixture congestion, maybe not entirely a bad thing.
  10. Given that United have raked in over four million pounds in transfer fees lately and are boasting about being debt free, it might have been prudent of them to have spent some money on what has never been a great playing surface..
  11. No need for a second inspection would be an even better sign..

Only if there was a compelling financial benefit to the club. Otherwise, no, football should be played on grass.
  13. Job done. Next task to ensure that we remain ahead of The Arabs come ten to five on Saturday.
  14. Am I the only one here who, far from wanting their bubble to burst, would like Aberdeen to win all but two games between now and the end of the season and, at last, break the tedious and damaging Glasgow stranglehold on the league title ?

To be fair to the OP, who appears to have registered to ask this question, can anyone supply him with an answer ?

    He must knead the dough..
  17. Could well be..

Don't agree. Most decent agents will have the interests of their clients foremost. Very few players will move for less money. Doubt Tansey and Adam Rooney would agree that going for more money helped their careers. Do agents really know what improves football players because more money often results in less games and less exposure and potentially a slide into lesser leagues . These players should be careful what they wish for! Football is what they do for a living. Earning more money, without doubt, helped their careers.
  19. If that's true it is shocking.

  21. If we could re sign Nick Ross, Marley Watkins, David Raven and Josh Meekings we would be in great shape for next season. In saying that, I am assuming that Graeme and Billy will be away.
  22. In my opinion, Josh Meekings and David Raven are crucial re-signings for next year and beyond. I would like Billy Mckay and Marley Watkins to re-sign but they can be replaced easier if they do decide to go at the end of their contract. I would agree with that.
  23. An idea well worth trying. The club and us fans need to be broadcasting it from the rooftops. Let's aim to double the crowd and get 6,000 into the ground. If 100 of the newcomers become regulars the initiative will have been a great success.
  24. Very pleasing. It would be fantastic if we could go into next season only having lost Shinnie and McKay both of whom, unfortunately, seem certain to go in the summer at latest.
  25. A huge incentive to win on the Rugby Park plastic on Saturday with Dundee United and Hamilton not playing each other until Monday a victory would guarantee third place on Saturday evening with at least fourth by Monday. It would also give us a 14 point margin over seventh place and virtually guarantee top six for a third consecutive season.
