  1. Do you think the Courier will run a story about it on Friday ?
  2. Sounded very scrappy but to get through on a heavy pitch must count as job done.
  3. The pitch was covered. Seems they were not entirely effective.
  4. What I find most difficult to understand, especially after the semi final fiasco, is that they are only consulting us now instead of at the very outset. Incredible arrogance.
  5. Listening to Sportsound, there still seems to be some doubt about that and much depends on the weather in the next hour.
  6. To be more accurate, game not off for now..
  7. 0 Due to no football taking place on the muddy open area in front of the stand.
  8. This fiasco is not the fault of our opponents. No but it's fairly obvious who those in charge would rather see win. Actually don't get that to be honest.
  9. This fiasco is not the fault of our opponents.
  10. Even if not finalised, the fact that it was proposed in the first place is a disgrace.
  11. I like Caley D's design best but would much prefer it without the unnecessary clutter of the CJT and CTO logos either side of the club crest.
  12. If this bizarre notion of squeezing us into a corner of a third empty stadium an area with poor sightlines and many restricted views is not reconsidered then, in my opinion, the club should hold firm and refuse to accept and distribute tickets. We were treated with contempt with regard to the semi final arrangement and the club and supporters should now stand firm together against this further outrage by the club not selling and the fans not buying a single ticket. Personally, I feel so strongly about this that, despite following Thistle and now ICT for over 40 years, neither me or my family will attending this historic occasion for the club unless reason and fairness prevail. Nothing short of disgraceful and contemptuous and we should not accept it under any circumstances. If Parkhead is not deemed suitable for a fair and equitable distribution of tickets it should not be hosting the final.
  13. Agree. Not only are Partick off form but they seem to have very little luck. Play off candidates in my view.
  14. Hopefully Draper next.
  15. That seventeen year old has had a pretty hard life.
  16. Given that capacity of Parkhead, I' be very surprised indeed if there was any restriction.
  17. Agree. Stranraer can be dangerous opponents home or away. Although they lost at Easter Road they managed to put 3 past Hibs and have scored at least once in their last 27 games whereas our recent form has been erratic. No room for complacency.
  18. It is odd that in twenty years not a single manager who has left ICT has gone on to enjoy any success at all.
  19. Earnshaw was on US$155,150 last year at Toronto FC (or roughly £1827 per week) but scored only 8 goals in 27 appearances. Admittedly he was playing in a bad team but he himself blew hot and cold all season. Matias Laba would be a better bet if looking at TFC players. signed last year as a "young designated player" the 22 year old Argentinian was very good before he got an injury. great vision and passing ability and tracked back well, a very hard worker, but looks like Toronto will have to sell, trade, or loan him out this year after signing Jermain Defoe, Michael Bradley and Gilberto to designated player deals for the coming season. You are only allowed 3 designated players and TFC currently have 4. This would probably be a wage problem for ICT though as he is on a US$200K per year deal which is about £2400 per week. More of a problem would be that, unless he has duel EU nationality, we would be unlikely to get a work permit.
  20. Fair enough. Was never going to be a hugely attractive prospect for SKY. Credit to both clubs for agreeing very reasonable prices. £10 for adults, £5 concessions and under 12s free. No reason for anyone in or around Inverness to sit at home that evening.
  21. No, it's each.
  22. The Rangers will come unstuck as soon as they face a Premiership side whether at Ibrox or not. Ian Black would put money on it.
  23. £83,000 is the figure SKY have been paying each team featuring in live broadcasts of Scottish Cup ties for years, useful income for a club of our size and a great windfall for the likes of Stranraer. However, to put it in perspective, it is less than the lowest finishing English Premiership club get from broadcasting rights every single day of the year.
