  1. As long as he has a means of keeping in contact, which he must in this day and age, I don't see that the Chairman enjoying a festive break is an issue although I am surprised and disappointed that no decision was taken today.
  2. May be an element of stating the obvious but well said nevertheless.
  3. Me too Santa !
  4. If the board don't act soon it will be too late. Getting out of the first division next season will be no easier for us than it's proved for the likes of Dunfermline, Dundee and Partick in the past.
  5. I agree entirely
  6. Seems to be a bit of a theme !
  7. I agree, he'd make a good personal trainer or the like.
  8. Or even someone adaquate !
  9. There's no need to insult Craig Brewster but, decent man he may be and good footballer that he was, he is not a competent manager. If he doesn't go now we will be relegated come May.
  10. Robbo, perhaps assisted by Charlie Christie as caretakers until the end of the season would appear to be a very sensible suggestion but would Robbo be welcome back as long as David Sutherland continues to have a major influence at the club.
  11. My view is that we are on the slippry slope towards the first division under the current manager but that our squad, especially if we add the experienced forward we should have secured in the summer, is good enough to stay up under competent leadership.
  12. My first choice would be Gordon Chisholm but if we were not able to secure him for whatever reason how about John Robertson with Charlie Christie as assistant ? I know Charlie resigned due to the pressure of being the front line manager but he showed great potential as a coach in leading us to our best ever SPL finish. Robbo has shown that he has no problem in handling the pressure side of things. A duo with some potential surely.
  13. Things are looking pretty bleak just now and we appear to be in freefall just when Hamilton and St Mirren are finding a bit of form. Do you think we can avoid the drop ? Does your opinion depend on whether Brewster stays or goes ?
  14. I didn't attend the Aberdeen game despite buying tickets in advance. I will not be attending another game as long as Brewster is in charge.
  15. Would be better than we've got. Then again who wouldn't be ? !
  16. Totally agree but who?? Much as we need another experienced defender an experienced forward must be the priority given that we don't have a single one on our books at present.
  17. I suspect that some sort of agreement along those lines will be reached with the player befoe January comes around.
  18. Don't agree Caley D. Another fortnight will not make much difference.
  19. I too agree with Scotty. This is not the weekend for any form of protest.
  20. Richard you need to catch up with the goings on at ICT. Savage resigned six months ago That's mainly why he's Grumpy !
  21. I don't suppose it will matter too much this time. Given our current home form, we will already be 2 or 3 down by then !
  22. No loss, if he couldn't cut the mustard at Dingwall he was never going to be a success in the SPL.
  23. I suspect that Mark will be on his way from Celtic before too much longer but I agree with Scotty that he's likely to be be in receipt of much more attractive offers that ICT could table.
  24. I suspect that the prospect of retaining our better players would be much enhanced under a different manager.
