  1. True even the great steve Paterson. Who could forget the likes of Vetle Andersen, Wayne Addicoat and Marco de Barros ?
  2. I still think barrowman needs time, played in the right formation and as robbo said on his thread the confidence of a goal or 2. Most of all, like our other young forwards, he needs an experienced foil to play alongside.
  3. I too have my reservations about Barrowman but give the boy a chance. He's not had half a season yet. Like all our young inexperienced strikers at the moment he badly needs a wise older head to play alongside.
  4. Yep as we havent played in it yet Just what I was thinking !
  5. Why not be nice for a change ? have a happy birthday Craig.
  6. Hello John, firstly thanks for the great joy of that promotion year and, to my mind, being instrumental in influencing the club to accept their place in the SPL. I was impressed with the progress ICT made under your management. Steve Paterson, despite his well documented personal problems, was a hard act to follow yet, in my opinion you managed to build on his achievements very well. Here's a hypothetical question you may not wish to answer but if Hearts were to meet ICT in the cup final who would you want to win ?
  7. Hear hear many of us have different opinions, the site would be pretty tedious if we didn't, but there's never any need to resort to personal abuse.
  8. If there is anything illegal going on then it's not down to us to challenge it but SPL, SFA & Procurator Fiscal. For the avoidance of doubt, nobody is suggesting any illegality going on and any posts to that effect will immediately be deleted and apprpriate action taken.
  9. I'm sure all connected with and employed by ICT want the club to be successful and prosper not least our manager and Director of Football but it's becoming increasingly obvious that, as good a player as he was, Craig Brewster is a poor manager and that it is not in the club's interest to retain his services. I suspect that there are thoser in authority who recognise this to be the case now and the sooner appropriate action is taken the better.
  10. Indeed !
  11. Surely, in all fairness, Elgin should be obliged to cover Spartans' expenses for the replayed match.
  12. "Being looked at" strikes me as a very neutral expression.
  13. Unfortunately ICT would be down by up to ?20000 which is a lot of money, we wan't to get the boards attention without hurting the club. I tend to agree especially with the threat of relegation at the end of the season if things don't pick up.
  14. I have said this for some months now. GET RID OF HIM BEFORE WE GO DOWN, AS I BELIEVE WE WILL NOT HAVE THE PLAYERS TO BRING US UP AGAIN. Will the Board pay some attention to what the paying public think! Question is can we keep the players that will keep us up. Apart from Barry Wilson, they are all contracted until at least the end of the season so ultimately it's up to the club whether they are still there to assist in the relegation battle which lies ahead. As for next season then that's a different matter !
  15. Hear hear.
  16. To be fair I don't think that Barry is Director of Football material.
  17. Please refrain from exchanging gratuitous insults or action will be taken.
  18. No I would never want ICT especially this season when every point might be crucial in avoiding relegation.
  19. I've got a feeling that either we will lose both fixtures or win both and that there will be no half measures. However, even if we manage two victories we will simply be papering over the cracks.
  20. There's no doubt whatsoever that Dundee United are a much improved team under Craig Levein but that still doesn't explain or excuse our tactics and performance.
  21. I've got a feeling that our loss might well be St Johnstone's gain. Wouldn't it be ironic if he were instrumental in the two teams swapping divisions at the end of the season?
  22. It certainly might be one reason.
  23. I agree it's a dilemma. I suppose there's an argument that if Barry's salary as a player is being saved then that could be utilised to pay him in that role. On the other hand we're in desparate need of an experienced striker and they don't come cheap ! It's a great pity that Mr Sutherland and Mr Savage couldn't have found a way of working together for the greater good of the club.
  24. How many chances does Rory need to make an impression ? He's been on the verge of making a "breakthrough" for at least three seasons now.
