I see that a teenager has just been charged with letting off a smoke bomb at Tynecastle on the 28th November. The Dingwall culprit should not be resting easily in his bed at night just yet.

Many years since I have been to Mossat Park far less had a pie there but Murdoch's Scotch pies are among the finest in the land and have all too often been the cause of a short diversion off the A96.

Was fully intending to go tonight until about two hours ago but it is freezing outside, I have a stinking cold, I have some work to prepare for tomorrow and I cannot be bothered with the prospect of the length of a poorly gritted A96. Agree. The Scottish Cup is my favourite tournament. Not only have we had a great record in it until recent seasons but, unlike the league, it is a competition that we could just possibly win. If we could only have one win this week I would take tonight.

The steward has no more legal right to insist om rummaging through your bag than I do. It is a common misconcoception among football stewards and door stewards at bars and nightclubs that they have greater rights in this regard than ordinary members of the public. They are wrong.

As good a performance as I have witnessed all season. Ruegero seems to get better each week especially now that Esson is fit again and breathing down his neck.

I would not be altogether surprised if we cashed in January and took Adam Rooney on loan following his relatively unsuccessful loan spell at Swindon with a view to signing him in the summer when he becomes a free agent. I believe that Adam would be just as effective as Billy in the current set up.
