The FA Need TO Take A Leaf From The SFA's Book
Imagine allowing Manchester United and Arsenal to be randomly drawn together as early as the last sixteen !

Tezza Butcher as Scotland number 2!
Moderators, like any other posters are quite at liberty to say that the Scotland assistant manager shouldn't be English. Whether any hold that view is a different matter.

If you could change ONE thing at ICT?
I would employ a professional, well connected, Director of Football.

Barry dropped again
I hope so, he deserves one.

Got an idea.....................
Did Clach not recently receive, in common with all other full members of the SFA a payment of ?10,000 which, as I understand it, was unexpected and would not have formed part of their budget ? That could surely have gone some way to clearing the arrears.

Tezza Butcher as Scotland number 2!
I'm not bothered about him being Engish but am not convinced about his coaching abilities.

3rd Stand
Once completed, they will have a capacity of about 9,000.

Duncan
Duncan, like any other professional footballer, has a relatively short career. Since he's been at ICT his salary will have been quite modest by SPL standards and it's only to be expected that he's looking for some reasonable increase now as he's about to enter the stage of his career where his earning potential will be at it's height. I doubt if he will be asking the earth and I suspect that a compromise can be reached given a bit of give and take on both sides. The good news is that it appears that money is the only issue and that he's not otherwise unsettled at the club.

Sub Standard Old Firm teams...or have the rest caught up?
I disagree. My view is that the Old Firm are finding it increasingly difficult to compete with even lower ranking English Premiership teams for the services of average players due to the fact that the Premiiership is awash with television money. The effect is that the Old Firm are being drawn back into the pack but only to a limited extent as their purchasing power is still far in excess of the rest of the SPL.

Saturdays fixture at Motherwell
There seems to be a lot of precipitation forecast for the central belt and Fir Park does not drain at all well.

NewScotland Manager
I'm happy enough with that.

Who will score ICT's 1000th goal ?
Let's get it out of the way just as soon as possible on saturday.

Mystery Investors
I have no great concern that this man has been involved in the sex industry provided he is not a convicted criminal. However, it seems to me that he is extremely unlikely to have a fraction of the resourses required to bring his plans to fruition particularly the fifty million quid or so it would cost to construct the sort of stadium he refers to which, even if it had centrl heating upholstered seats would seldom, if ever, be more than one third full. The club should have no blanket ben on outside investment but this man cannot be taken seriously and it must have been a very slow news week indeed in Inverness for the Courier to have wasted any man hours on what is a complete non story but ell done to the individual cocerned for getting a naive journalist to provide him with so much unwarranted publicity.

Peterhead V Berwick & others
Ironic that so soon after parting company with Steve Paterson Peterhead should acheive such a pele-esque result.

whats the crack with rankin?
Hibs and their Chief Executive; Rod Petrie are exremely adept at selling players on, usually to the Old Firm, for very healthy seven figure sums. Assuming we've been astute and insisted on a decent "sell on" clause in the deal we might make a great deal more money out of the Rankin sale in a couple of seasons time than we have now. Now that he's playing for an Edinburgh club the Scotsman may just come to realise that his first name is John and that he doesn't share a name with a well known writer of crime fiction !

whats the crack with rankin?
Apparently both St Mirren and Falkirk are now willing to pay ?70,000 but there is a third interested party on the scene.

Well for the Scottish cup
I'd be happy enough to Motherwell lift the cup or, if not them Hibs, despite yesterday's result.

Alan Morgan....haha
I don't see much wrong with Morgan's comments in the circumstances.

Hibernian -V- ICT : matchday thread
Apart from anything else that the club's income down about ?200,000 on last season. Disappointing to say the least !

whats the crack with rankin?
Very surprising that Rankin wasn't even in the squad yesterday assuming he was fit.
