  2. We could do worse than have another raid overthebridge. Tony Bullock would be a much more reliable back up 'keeper than Zibi. I believe his current contract with County is only until the end of the season.

Probably becausethe majority of them have already bought their season tickets.
  4. Not sure, sounds like a player who showed great early potential who has gone backwards. Then again, the same could be said of Barry Robson and Paul Sheerin at similar stages in their careers.

There's a suggestion that Hearts fans are going boycott our match in protest. They usually bring a decent following, I wonder how many will turn up on Saturday?
  6. I couldn't care less which set of bigots are wearing the widest smiles come May.
  7. I recall the Rangers fans singing that particular ditty few seasons back, long before we joined the SPL. As for Old Firm fans, they're as bad as each other !
  8. ****, if we'd kept them out until half time Celtic would have become increasingly frustated especially with Rangers looking comfortable at Tynecastle. Still, at least we weren't out of it after 10 minutes for a change.
  9. Looks like a deal will be done today. It will be kind of strange if Barry has to travel up from Perth after playing for another club on the day of his own testimonial dinner.
  10. I'd very much like Russell to stay but he's not so good that we should be breaking the bank to retain his services. Nor would I anticipate a long queue of clubs waiting to offring very much more than he's on with ICT. I would be surprised if a compromise isn't reached by the end of the season.
  11. Genuinely pleased for County who now look like virtual certainties to return to the First Division at the first time of asking. As Gringo says, it can't do ICT any harm to have our feeder team playing at a higher level.
  12. Maybe but they've gone backwards this season.
  13. I don't know, Barry seems to be coming to the end of his career and a pacey midfielder who can play either wide left or wide right wouldn't go amiss.
  14. Chorley ? Maybe IHE can pop round and have a word with him to get the inside story.
  15. The tabloids publish football based stories all the time based on little more than rumour.
  16. Am I right in thinking that he has another year to run on his contract after his season ?
  17. Ever the optomist !
  18. Celtic are bound to be tired after their recent schedule of matches. A point might not be beyond us. That said, they will be all out to avenge their defeat in Inverness. Whatever else, we can't afford to be as slow off the blocks as for our last two matches.
  19. There was a suggestion that Charlie Christie was very keen on signing Offiong last summer. He's done well in the First Division for a number of seasons now but may opt to stay at Hamilton if, as appears likely, they are promoted.
  20. Kilmarnock's win over Aberdeen today is a bit of a boost to whatever top six ambitions we have remaining.
  21. Apart from a forward who can score regularly both home and away our priority has to be at least one decent central defender. Two injuries or an injury and suspension or just plain old loss of form and we're in serious trouble in that department.
  22. Dmacca, how do Bristol Rovers fans feel about the Robins astonishing success in he league this season? Would they like to see City in the Premiership next season ? Surely it would do Rovers no harm and be good for football in the city as whole. With Plymouth also challenging for a play off spot and Rovers doing so well in the FA Cup football in the West Country seems to be flourishing after too long in the doldrums.
  23. I see Kenny Deuchar scored a brace at Ibrox today. He's a player who has consistantly scored at every level he's played from Third Division to SPL. He's out of contract at the end of this season and has made no secret of the fact that he's leaving Raydale come what may. We could do a lot worse that speak to him about a pre contract agreement.
  24. As an Edinburgh boy he would no doubt see a move to Hibs as a step in the right direction. As we all know his attitude has often let him down in the past. That seems to be much better this season.
