  1. I didnt feel that way after losing to Aberdeen on penalties at Parkhead or when we won that amazing semi final with 9 men.
  2. It was not Eddie Howe who turned down Celtic. Celtic's interest in Howe cooled as soon as they realised Yogi was available.
  3. Beyond tedious. The format is now stale and needs revamped for next season.
  4. Paul Sheerin is an excellent and experienced coach. Would be a very good appointment in my view.
  5. As long as we avoid Hearts. Being hounded by them in the last game of the group stage is becoming a bit tedious.
  6. Very harsh words indeed. Ross Draper was a very good servant to our club over many years for whom many of us still have very fond memories.
  7. I agree but only within our current very limited wage structure.
  8. I agree and credit to those County fans. We all make mistakes and I have made some serious ones over the years and I agree that folk deserve a second chance. However, MM was no callow youngster, who has now learned better, when he made those comments. He was a mature adult and knew what he was doing. Nor were they isolated off the cuff comments but a sustained series of disgraceful references. We have people like him and also David Goodwillie, who a court has determined to be a rapist earning a living from football. It is a matter for each club who they employ but I am pleased to think that ICT has higher standards than that.
  9. I would like to see us called Premiership regulars and twice winners of the Scottish Cup.
  10. So positive to be looking forward to a new season when, all contuing to be well, we can actually watch the team rather than peering to follow the action on poor quality live streaming. Even looking forward to my weak coffee and slightly burnt pie.
  11. Seems to be well past his best and well beyond our budget.
  12. Inverness Caleyclachthistle Disunited.
  13. Can Thistle get a new head coach too please?
  14. Agreed. I would be very happy to have a woman as head coach if she had talent and ability. However, appointing a woman with such a history of failure and mediocrity would be tokenism of the worst kind. I have no issue with her accent. I have considerable issue with her poor track record.
  15. Racist, sexist and not even a very good coach. County are welcome to him. As a family club, I would hope that we would have nothing to do with anyone with those attitudes.
  16. I entirely agree and, assuming it was the right person, it would be fantastic positive publicity for the club. However, I don't think that Shelley Kerr would be the right choice.
  17. A great credit to our youth coaches and the boys themselves. We have done all right over the years trawling the English lower leagues and non league for talent but, for all sorts of reasons, developing our own talent is by far the better option.
  18. I have a feeling that John Kennedy will be the new County manager. I have no idea who we will appoint but hoping to be enlightened by the end of this week. Important to get someone in place sooner rather than later to prepare for next season.
  19. No need to worry on that front. John Hughes didnt even wait until he parted company with the club before burning those bridges. He did that by picking a public argument with the board and the then chairman by arguing through his friends in the football media at a time when he had just been given a new contract making him the highest paid manager in our history armed with a player budget, by a considerable margin, the largest in our history, that he should be given yet more money that we didnt have.
  20. Congratulations to Dundee in surmounting the unlevel playing field of the Premiership play offs. However, those congratulations are extended with more than a tinge of what might have been had we only held on to our play off place. Dundee were no better than us over the course of the season and that Kilmarnock side were worse than the County team we comfortably dispatched in the cup.
  21. Extra time and, if still not resolved, penalties but, right now, Kilmarnock don't remotely look as though they can turn things around.
  22. Watching the second leg of the play off final. Great to see fans back in Scottish football grounds. Hopefully we can all experience that feeling for ourselves in normal numbers from the start of this season.
  23. Already being discussed in the 'Who Will Be Joining Us In The Championship' thread.
  24. It means that Roy Macgregor has decided that wherever Yogi goes 'exploring' next it won't be in the Easter Ross area.
