  1. Which is probably why nobody is blaming him for taking it.
  2. Can't blame him. A decent player for us but we have lost far better and more influential in the past and replaced them.
  3. Maybe he was learning how to erect a tent, tie knots, tighten a woggle and make fire by rubbing two sticks together.
  4. Agreed. If they don't work cooperatively together the system will soon break down.
  5. Not sure it is his fault that the club have not been sufficiently informative about player departures. Didnt see the interview but if he is giving the fans information about something we didnt know then, on balance, I see that as a positive thing.
  6. I agree. This is not a structure we have had at the club before but it works well for other teams. The important thing is that each party knows in advance what the role of the other is and respects those demarcation so that no tension and resentment arises from the perception, justified or otherwise, that one is intruding on the territory of the other. Best to have these things crystal clear, in writing if necessary, from the outset.
  7. I was not previously a big fan, quite the contrary. However, he seemed to do a very good job when he joined Neil McCann and, had he arrived earlier I suspect that we would have made the play offs. He has a good contact book, is well integrated and respected within the wider Scottish football industry and now has some knowledge of the club and how it works. All in all a good appointment and shows some ambition on the part of the club. It will be interesting to see whether his assistant is new to the club or promoted from our existing coaching staff Whichever, time to get behind the new man and for everyone from the chairman down to us humble fans to concentrate on making the new season our best for over half a decade.
  8. I think that would satisfy most fans but my question would be how much three, presumably reasonably substantial, salaries would eat into our player budget and our funds for youth development.
  9. If we are taking a little more time then so be it. I agree that it is important to make a quick appointment but it is even more important to get the appointment right.
  10. True. Shame on them.
  11. Who knows. Maybe in another six years we will be appearing in cup finals and competing in Europe once again. The good thing about being a football fan is that, no matter how disappointing the season that has gone before has been, we start each new season full of hope and optimism.
  12. It would be good for us but terrible for the integrity of the Highland League. If I was the director of a Highland League club I would be very firmly opposed.
  13. Absolutely, were it not for being so prone to injury, he could have played at the top level and been a regular international player. If he is fit and wants to stay within our wage structure, I would have no hesitation in offering him another year and a thoroughly merited testimonial season.
  14. Congratulations on reaching double figures for the number of times you have informed us that Aaron us your cousin
  15. I didnt feel that way after losing to Aberdeen on penalties at Parkhead or when we won that amazing semi final with 9 men.
  16. It was not Eddie Howe who turned down Celtic. Celtic's interest in Howe cooled as soon as they realised Yogi was available.
  17. Beyond tedious. The format is now stale and needs revamped for next season.
  18. Paul Sheerin is an excellent and experienced coach. Would be a very good appointment in my view.
  19. As long as we avoid Hearts. Being hounded by them in the last game of the group stage is becoming a bit tedious.
  20. Very harsh words indeed. Ross Draper was a very good servant to our club over many years for whom many of us still have very fond memories.
  21. I agree but only within our current very limited wage structure.
  22. I agree and credit to those County fans. We all make mistakes and I have made some serious ones over the years and I agree that folk deserve a second chance. However, MM was no callow youngster, who has now learned better, when he made those comments. He was a mature adult and knew what he was doing. Nor were they isolated off the cuff comments but a sustained series of disgraceful references. We have people like him and also David Goodwillie, who a court has determined to be a rapist earning a living from football. It is a matter for each club who they employ but I am pleased to think that ICT has higher standards than that.
  23. I would like to see us called Premiership regulars and twice winners of the Scottish Cup.
  24. So positive to be looking forward to a new season when, all contuing to be well, we can actually watch the team rather than peering to follow the action on poor quality live streaming. Even looking forward to my weak coffee and slightly burnt pie.
  25. Seems to be well past his best and well beyond our budget.
