  1. Doesn't seem to be anything fresh in this morning's papers. Just the same old speculation.
  2. Please sign my petition which is calling for no more petitions !
  3. Water under th bridge now but he doesn't strike m as being level headed enough to have the makings of a good manager.
  4. We've recieved decent compensation for managers in the past and shouldn't be too reluctant to pay out to another club now.
  5. He probably only did what most people would have done in his position. The big problem with Brewster is that his record at Tannadice where he had decent resourses casts huge doubts on his ability as a manager.
  6. I don't think that fact has been lost on anybody.
  7. Not so sure about the two steps forward.
  8. Given the recent activity on this site I thought this thread would be well into three figures by now. A little disappointing.
  9. So do I as well as generating more commercial income due to a much higher media profile.
  10. I don't do petitions but would be sorry to see Brewster reappointed.
  11. Apparently Warnock's asked for ?350,000 a year an a company helicopter.
  12. Attendances might well drop but only as a result of poor results and unattractive football, I doubt if the fact that Brewster is reappointed manager will have a major impact in itself.
  13. First job at all delivering bucher meat on a pre war bicycle which must have weighed considerably more than I did at the time. Pay three shillings plus tips. First proper summer job working as a shop salesman selling photographic eqipment ?30 a week plus commission. First professional job, trainee solicitor annual salary ?3,200.

    Pre-Merger

There was another reason for the directors of Clach being reluctant to join the merger which I'm sure Mr Bannerman has at least heard rumoured.
  15. Robertson's record ince leaving is certainly much better than Brewster's.
  16. I hope the board don't go for Brewster on the basis that he's the cheapest option and quickest fix. Relegation would be a steep price to pay for a hasty decision.
  17. I agree with almost all of what's been said. Coyle would be a very good appointment and not nearly as much of a risk as Brewster given his abject failure at Tannadice.
  18. Good to hear. Given that we've received ample compensation over the years for Pele, Robbo and Brewster I hope the that board wouldn't be deterred from pursuing Coyle just because St Johnstone are taking a similar reasonable approach.
  19. In my opinion Brewster would be a very poor appointment but what on earth would be the point of a boycott ?
  20. Coyle decent player, potentially great manager.
  21. What concerns me is that the club seem to believe the fans are not keen on Brewster due to the manner of his leaving last time wheras most of us who are not keen on him being reappointed don't give a stuff about that but are very concerned about his abysmal record at Tannadice.
  22. Dunoon- Inverness. Quite a daily commute !
