  1. A point or better on sunday and CC will have no credible rivals for the award.
  2. Thank goodness we managed to swap Ian for his namesake Roddy, Roddy sounds like a much more level headed individual. Seriously, great result. If we can play against Celtic the way we did in the first half we can certainly provide them with a real test.
  3. I think it would be a mistake to let him go permanently. If he can steer clear of injury he is without doubt an SPL standard player.
  4. I doubt if Hibs will be that tired after beating Aberdeen without having to break sweat.
  5. Allure
  6. I would not like to see Keogh depart permanently as, when fit, he can still cut the mustard at SPL level. On loan at Peterhead until the end of the season might be of benifit to all three parties concerned.
  7. There's also a rumour that Ross County might be interested.
  8. There sems to be an assumption that Mark will spend the next three and a half seasons warming the bench at Parkhead. I don't think that that will necessarily be the case. In fact, I predict that he will be Celtic's first choice 'keeper by this time next season.
  9. Remind me, which of IHE's predictions have proved accurate ?
  10. The midfield did well at Pitodrie in taxing conditions, I would keep ibn on the bench. That way, at least he's got less time to get himself sent off.
  11. Standard
  12. Six figure fee accoding to this morning's P&J.
  13. Apparently, the fee is £100,000 which isn't bad business for the club's point of view considering he could have been off at the end of the season for nothing. No one can really be too critical of Mark, hes been a good servant to the club. Don't forget that playing football is the his job and the source of his income. What would you do if you were offered a new job at more than twice your current income ? The club were ready to commit to a package to make Mark the highest paid player in our history. In my opinion, that cash already committed should now be offered to Dargo and Dods to try to persuade them to remain. If they decline it should be used to bring in experienced replacements dor Dargo and Dods. We already have a ompetent replacement for Brown in the shape of Michael Fraser although, with all due respect to Johnathon Smith, we will need a more experienced back up 'keeper in the squad.
  14. Michael Fraser deserves the opportunity to establish himself as first choice after being patient for so long but e do need to sign an experienced understudy.
  15. Hope that United bring more fans to the cup match than they've had for league matches at the TCS recently.
  16. The bottom line is if it's purely about money we are unlikely to keep either of them. If, on the other hand, the players have other priorities, there may be just a chance. In my opinion Dargo would be the bigger loss of the two as Fraser could be potentially as good whereas I can't see any of our remaining forwards being nearly as prolific as Dargo.
  17. Frankly' I doubt if the SFA would be able to match Moyse's salary at Everton apart from anything else.
  18. cement
  19. Apparently there will be 17,000 tickets for the gigg but count me out £60 to see a once star performer who is at least twenty years past his best is far too steep.
  20. Mackie's an Aberdeen lad who has made no secret of the fact that his desire is to stay at Pittodrie as long as that is an option for him.
  21. How can you sign our best player for nothing when he still has over two years of his contract to run ?
  22. Whilst you would never want him as your club manager, Miller's cautious, not to say negative, approach might serve Scotland well.
  23. No matter what the background it would be nothing short of moronic to jeer any player being taken from the park with an obviously serious injury.
  24. Some mistake surely, what about the red and black paint ? :003: :003:
