  1. Looks much more like a player who is genuinely plagued by injury through no fault of his own.
  2. No wonder CB and others have abandoned this site.
  3. Entirely agree. I think appointing him was a reasonable risk to take. Giving him a five year contract was incomprehensible and failing to act when it was clear he was neither a manager or a coach and we were heading for relegation was negligent. Unless we are somehow promoted this season we will see just how negligent very soon.

  5. The time to consider such 'get out' clauses was when the contracts were initially negotiated and agreed. For whatever reason, those managing the club at that time did not take that prudent step and we continue to pay the price for that.
  6. Or, to mix metaphors, the proof of the pudding is in the eating and it's yet to be consumed.
  7. Sorry for my gross exaggeration.
  8. He was having a pop. Two small bottles of it at the club's expense.
  9. An untradable and possibly unsecurable asset on the balance sheet is neither here or there. What matters right now is the year on year, month on month and day on day deficit of expenditure against revenue.
  10. I too am with RIG and Mantis. Especially in the light of what our most recent set of account will confirm.
  11. Very concerning. Not the fact that CB is continuing to take the huff but the state of our finances. Unless we gain promotion this season or somehow attract a substantial injection of capital there is trouble ahead and not very far ahead at that.
  12. Things definitely looking up. Time for the moaners to get behind the team and for the absentees to return to the stadium and back the side for what could yet be a successful conclusion to the season.
  13. Not while we still have a chance of improving our league position and thus our prospects of promotion.
  14. Maybe not our best performance but to secure all three points after the massive effort put in on Tuesday is a credit to everyone. With other results meaning that we have put a bit of clear water between ourselves and the challengers for the final play off spot it caps one of the best weeks we have enjoyed in quite a while. A repeat of victories midweek and at the weekend next week is not beyond us and would build up huge momentum as we reach the business end of the season.
  15. I confess that I am a 'glory Hunter' when it comes to this tournament only attending the finals that we reach.
  16. A worthwhile experiment but a failed one.
  17. That's typical SPFL fairness. Midway between Dingwall and North Wales.
  18. It's about balance. Constant carping and negativity is tedious and very wearing but constant and uncritical 'happy clapping' is just about as bad and possibly more dangerous. I have been critical of poor communication in recent times but the new channel mentioned by Scotty is a very welcome development.

  20. Agree. One of the very few advantages of being in the Championship is we don't have to suffer those knuckle dragging hoards, or the other lot for that matter.
  21. I have just listened to the vile sectarian abuse directed at Steve Clarke last night at Ibrox. It's very clear from the volume that this was not just an isolated few but thousands. The Rangers have apologised and said that 'it's totally unacceptable and will be dealt with' Well, I am sorry but they have been saying that for years and the club preceded them for decades before that and nothing has been done domestically although UEFA, to their credit, have shown a little more backbone. Surely it's time now for deeds rather than words. In my view the appropriate and proportionate step would be to award last night's tie to Kilmarnock and warn the host club that any repeat will see them excluded from the competition for three seasons. That way, those in charge at Ibrox might just pay a little more than lip service to this appalling behaviour.
  22. Clearly aimed at wealthy corporate types. I do hope that they will find a more affordable way for the vast majority ordinary fans to mark this important milestone.
  23. Very poor loser totally lacking in any class.
  24. and every other game between now and the end of the season including the play offs.
