Scottish Cup 3rd Round
and, with the greatest respect to our welcome visitor, do all in our power to prevent that potential upset becoming reality.

ICT Xmas Dinner
Very well done. I, like a number of others, have been critical of much that has been done, or not done, of late but this is deserving of nothing but praise and respect.

Scottish Cup 3rd Round
A perfectly reasonable question in my view. If you don't know the answer there is seldom anything wrong in asking.

U18's Season
Final score 3-2 to us. Well done to the youngsters for racing into a remarkable lead and then holding on against a club with a reputation for having one of the best youth systems in the land. They deserve a good turn out in the next round against Celtic. The future looks bright and promising.

We will never have a huge fan base but I agree with you that some public demonstration of faith and commitment on the part of the board would entice some, perhaps a few hundred, fans back and that could make a difference not only financially but in terms of atmosphere to encourage the team at home games.

Much as he went down in my estimation for his flat cap and flasher coat antics at Easter Road, one advantage we had last time in attracting more fans through the gate the last time we were vying for promotion was the much higher profile we had with Terry Butcher cheerleading very loudly which also helped with attracting lower league players from South of the border. That is not a criticism of Robbo who is a very competent manager and coach.

Agreed. Would be even better if we could get a fairer price for them when, as has and will continue to be inevitably the case, they move on.

Scottish Cup 3rd Round
As a further warning against complanency, Edinburgh City came back from being two nil down against Alloa today in the Challenge Cup to draw and eventually prevail on penalties. We need the team that turned up in the last 15 minutes in Dumfries if we are sure to progress.

So many draws lately have felt like defeats. This one definitely feels like a win. However, subject to the views of this who were in attendance and well done to them for making the journey, is it legitimate to ask why, on the face of it, we only really turned up after we were three goals in arrears ?

You were reading the scoreline in a mirror when you consulted your Oracle. There is actually part of me relieved that the unbeaten run has come to an end as, this season in particular, it's been a bit of an illusion disguising, to some extent, the fact that we have settled as a somewhat mediocre Championship side.

The offence was committed before we signed him. I have said that, once he serves his punishment, there is no reason why Calder can't resume his career elsewhere. Robertson fell into that category.

U18's Season
What an impressive season they are having. Could be, in the long term, that Barry Wilson will be as fine a signing as a Coach as he (twice) was as a player.

One up on me. I was not at the County game. Obviously had an aversion to Dingwall even as a child ?

Ex-ICT players' news
I would rather see him sold for several million so that we can benefit from the sell on clause in his transfer to Celtic.

All Clubs Attendance records
The one I find it hardest to imagine is over 27,000 at Cliftonhill. I imagine that the ground was in a slightly better state of repair than it is these days.

All Clubs Attendance records
I remember being at Grant Street in 1972 for a friendly between an Inverness Select and Rangers. I think it might have been the last game they played before their Cup Winners Cup final against Moscow Dynamo in Barcelona where their fans disgraced themselves, not for the last time. As I recall, the game ended 5-3 to Rangers. The ground seemed pretty packed but I don't know if an official crowd figure was ever announced.

All Clubs Attendance records
My late father, who was a Clach diehard, swears that he was in a crowd of 13,000 at Grant Street for a friendly against Rangers. He remembers the the Bobby Bolt testimonial and swore that the crowd for the earlier friendly was bigger.

All Clubs Attendance records
Record attendance for Thistle 7,550 for a friendly against Celtic in 1972 to inaugurate the then new floodlights at Kingsmills.

Agreed. The best 'keeper in the division and becoming one of the best in the country. One of the main reasons we have now had the longest unbeaten league run in our history. The poor start to his ICT career is a distant memory and a contract extension should be an absolute priority. I would not be averse to using the cash saved by Calder no longer being on the wage bill for that purpose.

An important match at Firhill today. Time to put this unfortunate matter behind us and concentrate on the football again. End our sequence of draws with three points and we remain firmly in the promotion mix. Players may come and go for whatever reason but the club remains.

Since at least one of them is an unfounded allegation, then perhaps not.

I am genuinely confused about this post.
