  1. Any update on what? Apologies. I did not realise that it was confirmed to be on BBC Alba, as there is very little information on any website about the game being televised. As the club website, BBC Alba and televised football information sites can't seem to tell any information... I take it I can start stocking up my fridge for Sunday? 2pm kick off still?
  2. Any update? Would love to be able to watch this at home, since I can't make it through to Inverness
  3. Why oh why do people not just accept the fact that Zander just was not good enough to play in our 1st team? Don't think he was voted 3rd Div Player of the Year. He was voted 3rd best player in the 3rd division...
  4. You not got marking to do? I'll give them some self/peer assessment; then my marking is all done as if by magic! :004:
  5. Think i'll head down to this since it is during the school holidays...
  6. My contact has just informed me that this is the team for tomorrow... Gordon Hutton Weir McManus Whittaker Naismith Brown Hartley Fletcher Maloney Miller
  7. I love the Scotland games. Being an ICT fan means I rarely have the opportunity to experience/enjoy a 52000 capacity crowd all united behind the team i'm supporting. Plus it's great to be able to enjoy going to the game with mates that are all Dons, Celtic, Rangers, Partick, Montrose, Dundee United etc etc fans and be united in celebration and consolation. The fact that we have to travel down from Aberdeen for each game brings its own adventures as well! Drunken supporters bus journeys, early morning trains, borrowed transit vans and the like all bring great fun. The joy of going to the away matches also can't be beat!
  8. Plus Garry O'Connor has been called up. Edit: Just noticed you've included him, but as a midfielder (!?)
  9. I see a Staggie on Pie and Bovril is claiming that Esson is out injured today. Pretty sure it's a fishing trip, but i'm sure I heard something about Esson being an injury doubt for the Albion game? Maybe he aggrevated an injury? Interesting game for Kyle Allison to start if true!?
  10. McCormack is out for the next 3-4 weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in a Cardiff match a few weeks ago. That's why.
  11. Suit up. When you get there people will think you are important and not just "some fan" :( I've currently got 8 very visible stitches on my head; so if I suit up I think people will probably think i'm 'the accused' and i'm lost on my way to the courthouse! :)

Aye, it's my birthday on Saturday; so my dad has bought match tickets for us, along with the Kingsmill club 1 match pass. Quite looking forward to seeing part of the club i've never seen before!

What time is the Kingsmill suite open from? I've heard 12.30pm, in time for the televised lunchtime kickoff? If so, can you buy pies etc at that time? Wouldn't mind getting a couple of pies there for lunch, in amongst the pints. Also, is it a shirt and tie job? Or can you wear an ICT top, jeans and trainers...
  15. It's my birthday on saturday, so my Dons supporting Dad has bought tickets for the game; along with the Kingsmill ?10 taster thing. Not sure where the seats are... Also, is it a shirt and tie job? Or can you wear an ICT top and trainers... Better find all this out before I leave Aberdeen tomorrow!
  16. Was that Orff's Carmina Burana also known as Theme from the Omen? Can we have ride of the Valkyries, from Apocalypse Now, if we are doing classics/film stuff? Put the **** right up Charlie. Bannerman? :tonguecheek:
  17. To answer my own question I notice it's on tomorrow night on BBC1
  18. Are the BBC showing highlights of these cup games at all?
  19. Gillespie has been released. Eh? I'd always been impressed by him... Probably end up at Elgin City if he has been released?

If the keeper wasn't standing almost at his 18yard line he would've saved that easily I reckon.

    Well said
  22. Did you see how much they reduced the season tickets by? or the offers available to our younger supporters?
  23. Working in Aberdeen, so won't make this one... Here's my thoughts on team lineup Allison might get a starting place in goals, to give him more experience Tokely will surely come back in for some much needed game time, ahead of his final match of suspension in the league. I'd also imagine Munro and Bulvetis will continue at the heart of defence to keep improving their communication and understanding. Surely Bulvetis has proven he's worth an extension to his 6month contract? At left back i'd like to see Shinnie get another game, or Hastings to come in after his recent injury. In the middle of the pitch i'd like to see Duncan and McBain give Stratford and Cox a rest. Or even bring in Gavin Morrison, who i've been really impressed by in pre-season. Probably be worth giving the fairly ineffectual Eagle another game on the left in which to build confidence? On the right i'd imagine Ross will come in, but wouldn't be too surprised to see Hayes keep his place to build up fitness. He really impressed me at Dens Park, with the kind of direct play Barry Wilson delivered. Up front we'll probably have Foran and Sanchez playing again, after netting 4 goals between them in the last 2 games. Rooney would come in if either were to be rested for Saturday; Sutherland coming in if both were to be rested. Haven't seen Albion Rovers for a few seasons, so i'm not sure what to expect. Thanks to U2 they've had saturday off which could be a good or bad thing for us! Fantastic effort to the fans that come up!
